  1. How exactly would this be remotely possible?

     

    dunno if you have played Devil may cry but it IS possible to code this. little bit more auto targeting than id like but it would fit the theme of the game. tenno are SPACE NINJAS after all. they do all things crazy.

     

    And to OP

     

    Their are alot of issues with archwing inheriantly at this point that would have to be flushed out first. like the auto targeting for grineer (im sorry this is where my suspension of disbeif fails. im going mach 2. and slappy mc clone grineer hits me ALL THE TIME NO MATTER WHAT. *facedesk* or the dificulty curve in general.

     

    secondly id have to respectfully disagree with raids. this is warframe, not wow-frame. de has not handled breaking the mold with dark sector conflicts well. i have a feeling raids would be even worse...

     

    all in all tho, great ideas. even if i disagree with one. very constructive hopefully the devs see this :D

  2. yeah the syndicate concept is really silly to me as far as the sigils go. its like being in the military, being charged for your rank insigina and not really getting a rase. the sigil system for them could use an overhaul heck an evolving sigil for each syndicate could be good too. you could have the first 3 sigils that you choose from and then they evolve as you gain reputation instead of how you "call in a favor" to get a better rank.

    as it stands im hated more by my enemy than the guys i fight for, and all i have gotten are a few keys and a sigil for my trouble... >_> YES HATE ME ARBITORS! I WILL ASK NOTHING OF YOU! but really?

  3. Yeah, I've given my Huras 3 so far, and will probably end with 4 or 5. I got Maul maxed, and trying to max Bite as well. So naturally I wouldn't want a mentally ill dog shielding my enemies with the body that I feed absurd amount of credits and mods to.

     

    Right now from a practical standpoint, sentinels out perform kubrows in every way, they have a low profile so they dont get hit often, they typicaly do more damage because of the AI can handle ranged attacks vs melee atacks better, and if you want to use your companion tacticaly on the fly you can switch whenever you need to vs the kubrow wait wall. I know de wanted kubrows to be a balance in between them but i just dont really see the point to them anymore, other than to open lockers. From my perspective a "warframey" thing is the games speed and how you can just launch in. i dont think people are going to go "WAIT let me sit here for 3 hours to switch mah puppy to my other puppeh for this mission!" kubrows were a great concept. but the execution requires polish.

     

    EDIT: btw i think kubrows will probaly stay this way till the end of year because of Dev focus on glitch problems with U15 and future endevors. sadly on this subject, our voices probaly wont be heard.

  4. ***WARNING RANTY yet constuctive FEEDBACK IMINATE***

     

    As it stands, i look at the game and wonder why i still play it. alot of the things that felt "warframey" are starting to dwindle.

    What im refering to is, how archwing stands as a game mode, and the "fix" for enemy aiming and a few other things.

     

    - Archwing.

    As Archwing stands right now you pretty much have to pay platnum to get the alternate archwing elyyron, and anything else that only drops at uranus.

     

    What i suggest be done is ADD MORE ARCHWING NODES. add more nodes to spread out the difficulty curve of archwing. the other thing that should be done is add a "new player experience" mission to the archwing quest. kinda like a mastery test in where lotus pulls you into the simulator and tells you how archwings stuff works. my own personal experience with archwing has been a nightmare. that first mission all revives were burned due to the grineer sterioids affect of their auto aiming guns. WILE trying to learn the controlls was just... yeah. many explatives were used ;D . I can see this affecting a MR 2 player like hitting a wall going "man this was easy" on their normal experience in the game thus far then *splat* they hit a perverbial wall "well this mode sucks, lets go back to being an uber bad &#! inside the ships."

    The missles the grineer use also seem to be out of wack powerfull. not sure if this is the root cause or not. i think its mostly the aiming. see below.

     

     

    -Grineer aiming.

    This was a fix to the npc aiming. really tho i dont know if this should be considered a fix because its reaaaaaaally stretches my suspension of disbeleif.

    Grineer auto hit tenno. no matter how much you dodge. you are hit. every. freaking. time. only balistic instant transfer weapons do this. but a huge warframey-thing for warframe playing as tenno is that you were fast enough to dodge bullets (for the most part) This was always an emersion factor for me. "man look at that i can run around like a ninja i REALLY AM A NINJA MUAHAHAHHAA" i think you get the point. Now with this grineer thing its purely statistical. "do i have enough sheilds/stamina/health to engage that group of guys shooting at me? yes splatter till you run low or no HIDE."  this also transfers to Grineer in space. and reallisticly. targeting stuff is space is hard. EXSPECIALY FAST MOVING TENNO. the missles i dont even get because they do not operate like real missles. at least the one your archwing has kinda work like real missles  they have dumfire mode if they are too far away or they auto lock and "attempt" to lock in to enemies and explode or explode prematurely when their proximity sensor goes off.

    *the grinner missles seemingly ignore the laws of physics and smash you with 8 in a row auto locking you, auto stunning you and in high level missions auto- deading you. if  the first missle hits you and they fire all in a line A EXPLOSION CONGA LINE SHOULD INSUE. meaning the first one detonates and damages you , and the rest are prematurely detonated in a line after you.

    *WARNING MENTAL BREAKDOWN IMMINATE SHUTTING DOWN LOGIC PROCESSORS*

     

     

    -RNG/pay to play.

    This probaly stems from the lack of a way to farm keys necisary for these missions and the hardships faced that i adressed earler in this post. part of warframe for me has always been that their was at least a reasnable alternative to have fun FOR FREE

    as RNG stands right now it feels like im rolling a heavy weighted dice that sometimes defies that wieghted side and rolls the number i want. with the TIV keys it seems a little silly to make any of them rare, because the drop tables are ALREADY NONSENSE. erm i mean they already distribute stuff pretty hardcore.

    what could be done, is have a straight forward way to get ALL tower keys. the scavanger hunt to find the right information to get this stuff has also gotten pretty fustrating.

     

     

    All in all, i know my posts seem a little ranty, but i do want to give you guys constructive feedback but i feel like if some of the fustration is not conveyed, you wont know that some of these things truly do drive people insane. because what everybody likes and hates is a matter of perspective. sorry about the ranting. i really still do love you guys DE.

     

  5. I'd rather have a robot dog like in Metal Gear rising. Kubrows are ugly in my opinion and they don't seem to be as nimble as the zanukas(or as cool looking for that matter).

    I FULLY SUPPORT THIS. having alternate companions that DONT need 3 hours to wake up from sleep would be awsome. heck any new companions other than kubrows. honestly kubrows ended up weaker than sentinels . different kinds of companions may flush out the system and point out how weak kubrows are in comparison to sentinels

    just because hes pissed, dosent mean his point is invalid. why not take a second to re-enforce his point with calm feedback wile pointing out the differences in balance as well?

  7. RNG definalty needs a look at again but DE will most likely leave it be. it REALLY is draining my experience and making me feel as if i HAVE to pay plat to enjoy the game anymore.

    edit: btw, if its soposed to be a RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR. why isnt he getting more RANDOM DROPS?

     

    Right now the way things are, its so expensive to get the things my tenno needs. EXAMPLE.

    all of the archwing things i need are locked behind an impossible mission on uranus.

    alternatively i could pay 275 plat for elytron,200 for the velocitus and 160 for the rathbone!(insert hapy ruk for greedy milk image here.)

    all of the prime parts are locked behind RNG walls im tired of dealing with. (scido prime, hiko prime)

    or i could totaly spend way too much money on PRIME ACCESS!

    and i only have crapy weapons to lvl for affinity.

  8. So my friends are not getting more than one "part"  (example corvis handle) but stacking mod rewards.

    when i did them before i got multiple parts... is this a glitch or intended?

     

    The other  part of this is the strange differences in syndicate XP  where my firend gets so much more affinity for the syndicate and i cant seem to see a difference in why he gets so much more than me. difference of like 500 affinity syndicate.

  9. Okay, so I already love space ninjas (thanks DE) and ive had a love for space simulatiors.

    archwing makes a few major mistakes but as far as functinality, with polish will be a GREAT mode.

     

    Enemies: okay so there is a really weird difficulty curve. ive noticed some lvl 5 stuff rips me a new bunghole, and some lvl 30 stuff dose not. o.O (still cant figure that out) ive noticed with the low lvl stuff that hurts, it auto targets like no other making my tenno self look like a clutz when shooting dodging and going mach 4 seems to have no effect. this kinda needs to be changed to shooting cones, or something.

     

    UI: as far as the UI goes. hoooooley crap please put a different mini map. its useless for people who have no 3 dimensional bearing. i could get away with it most of the time but alot of people have a hard time with it. im thinking that trick you guys use to make videos apear in the codex or in context messages could be used to make a better holographic map. if you have to look at flight sims based on real planes? or better yet real planes? good sims have done this. makes it epic.(and probaly a hair pulling moment for pablo and dorian but rember we really do love these guys.)

     

    targeting needs to light up eneimes , i know pablo was probaly worried about clutter. but when you have something blasting you RIGHT BEHIND YOU AND YOU CANT SEE IT  its kinda silly there is NOTHING on the ui poping up going HEY MASSIVE DAMAGE COMING FROM YOUR PROSTERIE.  3000 meters is probaly where you guys have the standard radar caped witch for new players to archwing on the very first mission was horrible to go though. Also in close quarters and long range fighting, im frequently seeing eniemes just not be targetable. Bottom line, if something is attacking you it should have a red threat icon on it(probaly dotted red line). your last damaged target or primary target should be solid red line. and always visible on the ui in some shape or form thats easy to spot with your perefiral vision. if its NOT on your ui, it should be a dodgable attack. (lets face it archwings are fast and they should feel as such when in combat when broke &#! grineer beam cannons shoot you out of the sky WILE DODGING it detracts from the feeling that your tenno. or less space ninja-ey)

     

    The camera shake needs to have an option to turn off to. i have medical issues with archwing boosting. makes me almost sick to my stomach to get through a mission i have to boost through.

     

    im not sure if  any of this was intientional or a bugs but i consider this feedback. DE do the job i know you will and forge a masterpeice. :D
