  1. That was a whole lot of waiting for not even a squeak from the Devs about the things the community is really concerned about. I'm not saying you need to have anything fixed, especially considering all of the holidays and things, but just a little whisper that we're all being heard would have been nice. The Glast Gambit kinda made the game a mess, and a tiny litte 'we sowwy' would have sufficed.

  2. I know we were told to keep this constructive, so I'll do that.

    The cost is absolutely bonkers.

Until the Glast Gambit's release, I supported nearly every decision DE made. I think DE might have caved a little too hard on the whole vacuum thing, but that ended in the players' favor. The entire Gambit has been a mess, from the Index making an unwanted return, to the absolutely terrible surfacing of the infested salvage mission. So maybe Nidus was a pain to get, and the Gambit wasn't really fun.

    But it was doable.

Hema's cost is doable in a sense, but it's only possible if you focus on farming it for WEEKS. And you can't idly focus, you have to actively farming mutagen every hour of the day, and maybe you'll get there. I ran a 35 wave derelict defense, as Nekros, and came out with 31 mutagen. 35 waves is by no means a small portion of time, and between work and sleep, there are thousands of other things I'd rather be doing in Warframe when I get to play it. The biggest kicker is that Hema is good, but it's not even that amazing. It's not like it's some sort of super-weapon that deserves to be locked away and available to only the most dedicated players, it's just kinda neat. And last I checked, 'kinda neat' doesn't typically call for hundreds of hours of farming. Vauban Prime is way more than 'kinda neat' and has been notorious for his oxium cost, but between 300 oxium alerts and duo-Nekrosing Baal, Europa, it was obtainable within a couple weeks without having to focus solely on getting it. If Hema was similar, I'd be more ok with its cost.

As for solutions to the problem, there a few options. The first one is pretty simple: Make mutagens drop from more than the Derelict and Eris. Any mission holding infested should drop mutagens, especially considering infested dropping fieldrons makes nearly 0 sense. If there was a more steady flow of mutagen without having to go out of our way to get it, the 5000 cost would still be high, but much more possible.

Option 2: Let us drain the ridiculous Helminth Cyst (another problem with the Gambit, it ruins fashionframe) and convert it to some multiple of 100 mutagen that scales off of the Cyst's growth level. If that's the intended path that's already being taken, just say that and most people will probably quiet down.

Option 3, the most obvious one: DE, do as you did with Vauban Prime, and lower the cost. I honestly don't care if the cost was intentional, it's not a good path to start taking. I always have firmly defended Warframe, telling people it's not pay-to-win, but after Hema, it's certainly trying to become pay-to-ever-get-the-thing.

One more time, in case every other person saying the same thing didn't make it seem like we want this:
    Lower the cost.

  3. Oh man, this is still going? There isn't even a question of fairness, it's like asking for a trophy when you're on the losing team. You weren't there, you didn't support long enough, so you don't get the tiny little gold thing to put on your shelf. It doesn't boost WF's economy, sure, but it's a nice little thank you to everyone who sticks with it.

I also saw a point made earlier that the most dedicated players were hurting the game because they are able to farm things since they have all that free time, meaning they don't need to buy plat.

    No. Just no.

In farming parts, you're still aiding the playerbase (unless you solo, but then whatever), adding to playercounts, and keeping missions flowing. Also, most players who focus exclusively on farming parts want to do something with those parts, like, I dunno, trade them for platinum. I wonder where that platinum comes from? Could it maybe be people who, gasp, paid for it? No matter what, long time, recurring players, even those who don't actively buy plat themselves, still contribute to the game's economy, even if indirectly.

I'm glad to see so many people were against this mess of a thread, it really was unwarranted complaining.

  4. I really like the first mission, and then the rest of the quest rolled in.
I hate everything related to Nef Anyo now, not a single bit after the first mission was fun.
I lied, the spy was ok. Random, but not bad, especially after having to do 4 3-round Indexes. 4 because it's still bugged.
All of it was nice compared to trying to farm Nidus' parts afterward though. Nobody thought we'd rather do the first mission of Glast more than a re-purposed Jordas Verdict mission? No? Ok, just me and nearly every other one of the 24 million registered losers then.

  5. This is what we need, this right here.
At least 6 color sets would be nice, I use one for each syndicate I'm in (3 because I'm lazy and don't want to balance more) so that I don't have to atively change the sigil, and 6 slots would let me make one fore each syndicate.

As for the pose while coloring one, just don't put an animation set on, the default is practically what you're looking for already.

  6. Daw, is someone impatient?
No really, it's a bonus, none of the rewards are key to gameplay. To put it in perspective, I started in July this year, so I'm at about 170 days-ish. I'm watching long-time players swinging zenistars everywhere while I can't get one (yet), but guess what? I don't care. So maybe I'm technically behind. Is it a necessary item? Is it something that directly limits my capability to progress? Not in the slightest. I just simply haven't supported the game as long, so I don't get the cool loot that long-time supporters get.

Long story short, are you legitimately complaining about getting free stuff? Because that's a real dumb thing to do.

  7. People seem to be forgetting that this wouldn't just screw up tennogen, but Nyx Prime as well. All primes are built from the base body of the normal frame, and Nyx is no different. Now if you were asking for a new deluxe skin, I'd back you all the way. I get the Nemesis is all about the Dark Sector roots of Warframe, but it's not Nyx, y'know?

  8. I recently got Hate from the Stalker (finally), and after building it I'm seeing that the accent color (4th one) doesn't do anything. I know this happens sometimes with older weapons, but it'd still be really nice if this gets a functional channel. Heck, it'd be even better if it gets a PBR update.

  9. Now this might seem silly, but the daily login reward times changed, and it's kinda causing trouble for me. It was set for 8:00 pm EST prior to TWW, but now it resets at 7:00 pm EST. I typically have things I need to do from 8 to 10pm, and now I either have to get off of Warframe an hour earlier, or waste 1 to 2 hours of my booster if I get one. Is there any reason the time got changed? I liked the flow of the prior time, and I bet a bunch of other people were used to it too.

  10. I really like the core idea, but not sure how it would be implemented to flow seamlessly. My biggest concern is Wukong's animations, and Nezha is a close second. Most animation seem to be made in relation to the resting pose, and it might start getting messy if a frame has to quickly switch between a low crouching idle (Atlas agile) to a tall pose (Nezha Noble shotgun).

  11. While we're at it, we could use this option for landing craft as well, I like having a coherent color between all 3 (frame, ship, operator), but I'm not going to individually change my colors manually every time I go to my other color sets on my frame.

Maybe an even better option would be to add the ability to change everything you use to one of the 3 color sets (think of it as a global selection for a, b, or c). I'm just rambling now, but it's the little things that help make the true endgame much more enjoyable.

  12. We really need two things on it, the ability to choose the old mode, and animations on both. I really like the concept, but I can't stand the bland pose that warframes get stuck with. If it is going to be static from this point forward, we really need the ability to pose the diorama. Check out dioramas in Custom Robo for the DS if you want to know what I'm looking for on this one, it's one of the few games I can think of that offered that kind of option.

Admittedly that could have problems with some... adult actions being posed, but don't let a few bad apples wreck it for the rest of us.

  13. Found an odd little bug. If you use Nyx, you're likely to use Absorb. If you activate transference while absorb is active, you can only walk as your warframe once you go back to that mode. No running, no crouching, only walking. Recasting absorb fixes it, but it's still kinda an issue.

Oh, and it adds a halo around the screen while the walk-only mode is active.

  14. I prefer rarity where it is, bumping percentages with higher waves will only cut down trade prices. I do think a re-roll system would be good though, as relics are just a tad too hard to farm large quantities of, at least as the current system holds. Re-rolls would cut down on the amount of excavations needed to hunt a specific part, and would really help keep the game rotating through different mission types rather than repetition of the same one over and over. And I entirely back the idea of an added chance to get additional prime parts randomly, another thing that would cut down on mindless repetition.

Long story short, I'd rather have a focus on quantity over quality. I want meaningful rares, but less hoops to jump through to get to that point, and, as silly as this sounds, more trash drops.

  15. Heck, I just wanted an 8m innate vacuum on all sentinels (5 was too tiny), but this works. Technically it might still need a rebalance, or at least a fix for Wyrm P (or just more prime sentinels), to make carrier P not the most used sentinel, but this sure is a good start.

I'm still laughing at the "constructive criticism' statement, I didn't see much constructive in the last day. Sure showed how mature people are, amirite?

Oh, and anyone whining that it takes a mod slot sure has a bad memory, considering vacuum kinda, I dunno, already took a slot.

  16. I sure do love this game and how frequently it updates, and I really don't want my singular post on an update thread to be this buuuut:

The Saryn Skirt Patrol is reporting that, well, yep. The rigging is still broken.

    Spoiler

I sure would love a fix for this so I can use Saryn again.
    Otherwise, another great update!

  17. I firmly agree that there needs to be more incentive to go past 20 waves on endless missions, and this is a pretty good way to do it. The numbers might need to be a little rebalanced in DE's favor so that there could still be a reason to purchase resources with plat, but that could easily be fixed by changing the multiplier to adding .5 every round instead of a full 1 increase (of course the multiplier would need to be the same as you suggested for relics, can't really get half a relic).

In general your sortie idea are also very solid, keeping the missions challenging, but not too simple. Right now, the sorties are really just obstacles that get more annoying as you progress through the three. Absurd level scaling really should be left to endless modes, as the current enemy levels in sorties only make things take a little longer and don't really pose an interesting challenge.

I like the void change idea, though it's definitely low on the priority list of needed changes.

  18. I don't see why port forwarding would even be necessary if I can easily connect with only DX9 enabled, unless changing which version of DX I use has an effect on the port type used, and that quite honestly makes zero sense.

Maybe there's something I don't get about forwarding and the way Warframe handles ports, but either way, a rendering setting really shouldn't have any bearing on connectivity.

  19. I just upgraded to a desktop, and picked up this lovely problem as well. If I set my game to DX9, it connects perfectly fine to parties, but as soon as I turn DX10 or 11 on, I can't join anything. DX9 isn't a huge issue, but it kinda removes the reason that I upgraded in the first place, especially since DX9 has large issues with DoF effects in Warframe.

As suggested, I optimized with DX11 checked on the launcher, and it still hangs after the load screen while entering a mission, displaying a host connection issue soon after. When I optimized with neither DX10 or 11 checked, it worked, but that's not really a surprise is it?

This isn't an intermittent issue, as it's incredibly easy for me to duplicate, and I can see from cruising the forums that it's nothing new (earliest post I saw was 2014).
