"All Cheaters will now be Banned. No Exceptions!"

Plenty have been caught abusing bugs on the leaderboards (still provable) Nothing happened, and clans still got statues. DE mods even acknowledge they cheated.

Yah... Anyone that we prove is using hacks gets banned. If they find a 'sploit that is our fault... it gets grey, right? (I'm just guessing at which event you're referring to... we honestly didn't have tangible evidence to convict the suspects.)

I don't think this shows we're scattered brained though - just that cheat enforcement is nebulous and ill-defined.

  2. @DE_Steve

It's not my place to tell you about your company when I've only seen hints about it through livestreams, but based on the decisions coming down the pipe, it does not seem like Digital Extremes - as a whole -  is on the same page.

Again, I am confessing ignorance to your industry, but as a consumer, there have been times when one of your staff says one thing, but another of your staff does another.

Solidarity still rings in my ear, but I have not seen it as of late.

Fair enough - can you give me an example?

  3. WeissKreuz - I'm sorry you feel this way but I have to tell you we respect our community and value them the utmost. We're dead without you and we know it. That is why everyday we oscillate between reading feedback and acting on it. Hour by hour, threads like these are on everyone's monitor and discussions ignite.

I agree we need to do more for Design Council - don't forget they have designed Warframes and see new developments and work in private. There is more we should do, but it has been difficult from our perspective because consensus is rare there. I need to communicate in there more, for sure, and I have no good excuse except for travel and frantic work days.

The weapon changes for the worse are almost always temporary. Things slip through and it is terrible. I know the weapon you're describing is bugged and I see fixes going in for it. No one is trying to ruin your gear that you earned. It is embarrassing for us and I feel like hell to see the anguish.

Robbery prices on crafting components seem inflammatory as you get these things by playing as well. We did screw up bad on a lot of those, because we took resource averages from elder players and we've corrected a lot of that. There are more coming. The weird void? If you mean Derelicts, this is where the Infested wiped our the Orokin, so the samples make sense there but I think there is room to add more ways to get them. We're trying to distribute resources throughout the locations as we add them, nothing sinister is at work.

Stamina should be in much better shape, and I know the guys feel terrible about it. That is why they stayed all night to fix them, slept 4 hours, and then came back to push out the hotfix. We could have asked about it, definitely, the idea wasn't to remove fun though, it was to make the stamina system mean something. We don't hold those changes dear and will improve or destroy where needed.

I am sorry if Conclaves upset you but they are not a broken priority promise. U10 exposes dueling outside the Dojos and barely more. Meanwhile a new Warframe, the most massive Boss we've ever done, with themed weapons for research and an amazing new art set were added.

Prices are always in flux and we're trying our best to find the sweet spot there. Sometimes things are expensive because everything else around it comes for free. We make all game-affecting purchases optional.

We suffered some dilution again but we take RNG problems very seriously. We have done two major overhauls to it in the last few months. Alerts now drop everything within a reasonable time cycle. Loot tables are per-enemy instead of global. We need to expose this information better but believe me, we have worked on the RNG.

U10 had bugs and ridiculous errors but it far from a joke. Its the result of a passionate group of flawed humans, trying to create challenge and excitement for our players. Every change can ignite a spark of outrage but still we must make those changes. Yes we pushed it out early, I agree. We thought GTA week would mean we'd get lost in the noise so we crunched to get it out Friday.

I understand the position we should stop adding stuff and just crush bugs for a few months but it is a balancing act. When we spoke to industry people about F2P games that lived and died they made it very clear to us that Updates meant life and lack of updates was the number 1 killer. We are working to fix the problems and hope we can win you back despite our missteps.

  4. Wow. Can you tell we're new at this 'live game' thing? First, here is an apology: I'm sorry guys, this event was full of holes.

In our heads, it came from a pure place - wanting to make a big deal out of the Settlement update... We thought the feeling of the community working together to unlock a new location was compelling. But we didn't execute it very well at all.

    Big problems I saw:

-Event had dual termination conditions: Is it done at 100%? or 6 days?

-Grindy goals, escalation was minor change in the enemy, not enough of a break.

-Personal rewards revealed late (What's in it for me? Someone else can unlock that location! Oh crap, I need points!)

-Poor consideration for Solo players in the scoring.

-Poor consideration for players with limited time (who expected a 6 day schedule).

    -Key/Lobby problems.

Warframe's next event will clearer goals, more diverse gameplay with all the information upfront for you to judge its value. It must be better, you guys deserve it.

  5. This is boilerplate stuff that hasn't changed since April (when we clarified that reverse engineering included game data).

We haven't shunned the DC. We try our best to have good customer service and I'm certain anytime we've screwed up we've refunded Plat.

I know these things are brutal and this isn't a great excuse but literally every other online game I've played has this nearly verbatim.

  6. About Dojo..

When i create Dojo rooms let say Clanhall - Greater Hall - Grand Hall etc.... i would like to get the last  awesome Hall and delete the rest why keep all the other halls it just makes a mess out of the clanhall or hell just let us upgrade it 1 button to upgrade insted of keeping them all. Same with reactor. Upgrade reactor capacity insted of having 5 reactors. Dojos are to huge allready u can get lost never finding a room you desire and not having a map/signes does not make it easy. I place decor so atleast i know what direction im running towords, could u reveal some of the plans for fruther enhancing dojo expiriance.

Sorry about my english i suck at it ;).

And funny video i made on Xini

    Tenno takeover

Your English is very good - I will think about the capacity problems, you make very good points.

  7. Thank you Steve, and everyone else at Warframe for making such an amazing game and listening to your fan base on their creativity frustrations and their achievements. You guys really set the bar on how good a company and game can be. Thank you for all the hours you put into it so that we may enjoy it, and experience the amazing creativity you guys have. Keep smiling.

Thanks for the kind works and sticking with us through the bumps!

  8. Had to google to double check, but attenuation means reduction.

If you ask me level 60's still dropping mostly Ammo Drums and the like, is already pretty damn attenuated.

Unless the key word is proper, meaning the current attenuation is improper because it's too attenuating, and proper attenuation will actually attenuate the attenuation.

    Some clarification would be great.

    My bad - trying clearer:

Each enemy type has a chance to drop from a small set of Mods. If that enemy is high in level, the probabilities of uncommon and rare drops are increased.

  9. Also I'm reaching here, but a "bestiary" in the lore section of the UI, with a list of mods which updates with each drop you "discover" would be crazy... if it's not an insane time sink for you guys to cook up.

Good idea! (That is the plan :))

  10. i didn't even know there wasn't an iphone app

and i'm not being arrogant...just annoyed how the resource alerts screwed me around before and now this. annoying having your phone go off a lot for something you already finished 2 days ago.

i realize this app isn't exactly hugely important but if you are going to keep it around it just seems like it needs more attention.

For sure - we have someone dedicated to it now (including getting the iOS one out)

  11. Honestly I would rather they fixed the missing mod/mod configuration bug first. These drop rates mean nothing to me currently since no mod saves

Sorry you got this - I hotfixed the servers on Saturday to avoid making it worse and we did a big pass on accounts affected that finished around noon. This was a nasty/scary because of the db.

It was done first, for sure.

  12. Please explain to me, how the **** Fusion Cores don't drop all weekend? Math is very simple. Someone entered 0's all the way across the board for fusion cores before leaving on Friday.  How many Fusion Packs did you sell this weekend? :D

Math is simple, hundreds of loot table entries, less simple. To be honest, this is going to make for less grind (the point of changing it) and counter to what you're implying.

I'm sorry about the screw ups - we will have it fixed ASAP so the Fusion Core rain begins anew.

  13. Warframe friends-

The crusty Titans of the old RNG have been defeated by new RNG Gods. Update 9.5 (with subsequent adjustments coming in the next hot-fix) features a completely new loot table implementation.

OLD: Per-faction massive table with hundreds of entries of varying rarities.

NEW: Per-enemy table with half a dozen entries of varying rarities.

Yes, rare Mods are still rare. Yes, we still are tuning values (it's raining Chassis blueprints)! No, farming Xini will not yield every Mod in the game anymore... you gotta mix it up.

Thanks for your patience as we tune the new system!

    ISSUES WE ARE WORKING ON:

-Blueprint and Resource drops from bosses is out of wack.

-Some UI to learn this stuff.

    -Fusion Cores rarity.

-Proper attenuation for harder enemies dropping rarer stuff.
