  1. I hate it when this happens to any mission.

DE should just take out the option to prematurely leave squad/abort mission when you're hosting. The only time the host can leave is whenever he's by himself or extract. If you're host, tough luck. Suck it up. It may sound harsh but it's really not. Host etiquette is obviously not consistently being observed. And sometimes being abused by a few bored randoms.

For the really good weapons or frames you really like. Just craft multiple. Forma them and slap a lenz of each tree and your good to go.

I have 5 saryn primes built each with a different lens. I can play my favorite frame and farm whatever tree i want.

I can mod and fashion frame my 5 saryns to my hearts content.

I think the main issue the OP has are the resources. He may not have the luxury of building multiple saryn primes on a whim let alone multiple lenses. I like saryn but not as much as you do. There are plenty of warframes out there for me to play around with and I personally will not play the same frame over and over and over every single day. If I enjoy a frame, I play with different builds until I master it (not just leveling to 30) to my play style.

My point, aside from the sarcasm earlier, is if you don't wanna farm for the resources you need to build an item, the game is structured to have an alternative for you to acquire built items by spending plat. Take it with a grain of salt but that's free to play game for you.

Lol poster wants the lens back not to destroy it by replacing it.

Players just make a plan before using lenses, forma, potatoes, etc.

Well that's why the "somewhat implemented" part of my reply. So there's always catch. You still have to destroy the old lens but ultimately, you get a brand new lens you prefer on your arca plasmor, catchmoon, and the only 6 other weapons that exists in the entire game. If you keep doing this method, you won't even need to farm for the resources nor the lens bp's. It's already built and ready to install right away. No mess, no fuzz, and def no wait times.

Can we please get a way of removing lenses from our gear? I am not saying a way to remove a lens and lose it in the process is something I want but maybe give us a way to pay a small fee to get it back. Since we spent days and resources in getting the precious Lua Lens and maybe now we don't need it anymore in a weapon or warframe and we would like to use it on something else instead? I think this would be highly appreciated by every person that actually got their lenses and now know that they have to craft a different one from scratch just to get focus from a different school while in the process maybe losing the previous installed Lua Lens.

Believe it or not, this is somewhat implemented in the game already. It only applies on greater lenses, though. It costs 40p to get lense removed and replaced by any greater lens you prefer. And if you get a daily log in discount, that's even better because it totally works on them. What a deal!

At least on the ship they won't die uselessly every 5 seconds. These tiny tin cans need some serious survivability upgrades to make them more than just a cute meme or emote option.

Hol up..... I thought warframe is still in beta?!

On a serious note, you really think that warframe 2 will solve the issue of content drought? Or any other issues you may have? DE can't even keep up with the gastronomical demands of hundreds of thousands of active players from a game that's already been built. What more building a brand new game with brand new contents that won't be a carbon copy of the game we have now?

The fact that you don't get sarcasm and mistaking it for over exaggeration just goes to show.

People need to stop "speaking for people" posts. Because you're really not. Research labs has been in the dojo since the game introduced them and they'll stay there when empyrean comes out and until the game hit the ground.

  8. You're right, OP.. why the hell would we still want a dojo then? Why not request to remove it since there won't be any need for it?

You wanna hang with your friends? Go to a relay, cetus, or Fortuna.

Wanna trade? Go to maroo's bazaar.

    Wanna spar? Play conclave instead.

Wanna decorate? Just do it on your orbiter and invite your friends over for them to see.

Wanna play jack rail later? No you can't because you got no dojo.

Research labs would take up much more space than having them in both dojo and orbiter.

The loading is not hours. Hell, not even minutes. You're literally just pushing buttons and stuff happens instantaneously. How lazy can you really get at this point?

  9. I actually prefer the rakta over prime.

I don't normally go with bows as primary but with the nw mission forcing me to do sorties, I'm pretty happy with the timing. Especially when the sortie had bows only mission. It's been a while since I modded any of my bows and forgotten that I've forma'd my rakta couple of times. So I tweaked the mods a little, brought it, and I've been running with it ever since.

Damn gears.. I thought you have a spidey sense whenever somebody mentions the word "Revenant" on any post, you pop up and hate-comment. But no one even mentioned Revenant in this post and you're here, someway somehow, you found a way to hate on him. What, did he kill your father? Or worst, kill your entire family and you're just seeking revenge to destroy him every opportunity you get? Everybody knows he's not perfect, not going to argue that, so you gotta chill, dude. This hate is not healthy. I'm genuinely concerned for your well being.

    To the OP:

    I'm apologizing for the derailment.

I didn't now at that time that the AI kills were tracked, I have to quote myself again? I've used the paracesis, I've thinked "hey, that melee kills sure were the times I used the paracesis", I don't understand your point then. Now i'm building a valkyr to dont get any AI kills/abilities usage and keep my companion alive (because yes, I like to loot with fetch and i like to view the map when i move the warframe because you have to move the warframe or the enemy spawn goes to hell).

No, you don't have to. I'm just making sure this clears the air before other people do the same: take complete credit for A.I. Usage.

You could simply do that with any warframe. Your companion has a bleed out time. They don't completely die unless you neglect to revive them.

  12. 7 minutes ago, xHeretic said:

Dude, you are sure youve read ? Ive said "I killed 72 mobs with the paracesis", ive never claimed there was all of the operator kills, you even quote the disclaimer that said "umbra kills are tracked, my mistake". When you do "void dash" count as an ability, try for yourself. If u didnt know, to heal and use magus lockdown I HAVE to do void dash. Cheers.

So you're saying that you've manually counted the melee kills you've done with the paracesis? And that you've counted 72 dead infested lying on the ground when you meleed them to death while you, yourself was using excal and not the A.I.?

Yes, operator skills adds to the total abilities used but A.I. Abilities usage of your umbra counts as well. Hence, you ended up with the highest ability usage out of your squad.

Played as operator 1 h 30 mins on arbi, never died, doing the most damage, less dagame taken, my team mates died since the 43 excavator and in the end i had to extract because everyone except me died. Just a fiendly reminder of the potential of the operator to the vast part of the community who thinks the operator just sucks and can't do high level content (300+ lvl of enemies and I was still able to kill them with my amp)

**EDIT / DISCLAIMER**:  I didn't know now umbra kills and dmg are tracked, my mistake, i'm gonna do more test on arbi because of that.

Mission: Exca Arbi - Infested - Earth

Stats (if you don't wanna view the images):

    0 Deaths / 1286 Operator kills / 72 Paracesis kills / 53% Damage done ( PUB Squad was 1 Frost, 2 Khora) / 12% Damage received

P.S: The stats doesn't show the umbra kills, as you can see I've just done 72 melee kills with him

You didn't kill 1286 as an operator.

Most of the kills most likely came from umbra. 72 melee kills proves it. Unless you just discredited your point that you never used your warframe in the 1 hour 30 mins you were in the match. Because your operator cannot use a paracesis.

Umbra stats do count towards mission results. Not sure if you noticed but you have used 599 abilities used in that match. The highest usage in the squad. That's the A.I. Working out for you, not entirely just your operator.

What are you even basing this on? Are you assuming I am a new player?

I've got another example. I play with my brother on an irregular basis. We help eachother with achieving items. But when we or one of us achieves a new item, we can't try it out together beacause we need to wait. We usually don't know when we'll both be online again, which means that we rarely get to try out new stuff together.

    Fair point.

But in order for DE to take the crafting timers away, we, as a community have to have a fool proof reason to have it taken out. And even then, they'd have to restructure the whole game from the ground up in order to accommodate the lack of crafting times. You, being inconvenienced by the timer is not enough reason for them to take crafting timers out. You always have the option to rush the items you wish to play at a cost, of course. Otherwise, your pledge does not apply to the majority of the community. Deal with it.

Those are likely not actually in just yet and will be released during the final stage of this season.

There's a lot of design choices with the Infested that I'm not too terribly keen on, from a very personal standpoint.

I like the Ancients, I'm fairly keen on the Brood Mother, and I like the new Thrasher. The rest just aren't really my cup of tea, as I tend to like more eldritch designs or extremely creepy designs. I also really like the Zealots, which are neither creepy nor eldritch...just an overall neat design, hence why my Operator will likely forever look like one.

That's just my personal aesthetic preference though. Think Dead Space. I'm a horror fan, so I tend to like the more disturbing concepts...even when it comes to games that aren't focused around horror.

At this point, we can all (or mostly, if not some) agree that the design is pretty well made.

My issue with the new infested is they're, to make it simple, boring. They did not stood out to me like when they brought in the brood mothers nor the boilers. New ones are just fillers. It's bad enough that they don't have any lore attached to them and I'm ok with that. But to make them that bland is just disappointing. They don't threaten me in any way. I remember when those maggots are the most annoying things for me to love since they slows you the hell down when they attach themselves to you. I'm sorry to say but that's the level of expectation I have whenever they bring in any new infested enemies.

Speaking of dead space, i love that DE did a huge nod to DS brute by creating the juggernaut. I gotta give them props for that. But I take it back since they hella neutered the juggernaut. The game giveth, the game taketh away...

No need, the defectors cant even climb stairs at times , don't need an annoying mission getting more annoying.

Maybe the pods when destroyed release a toxin cloud? so a threat becomes less active and more passive (but deadlier)

Haha true enough. Maybe the "leaping Thrasher" can go in an leap at the stuck defectors and thrash them a little to get them unstuck.

The pod sounds like a great idea. Just like the hive pods only more contained and concentrated to a personal area when destroyed. Then we could run back to the forums and complain how really annoying those things became.

There is no reason not to restrict their spawns to higher levels if they were to become buffed. Elite Lancers DON'T spawn until level 15, Bombards have similar restrictions (in fact most "heavy units" do).

Oh, i didn't mean restrict their spawn to a higher level. I just imagine they'll be in line with the boiler and mother brood. They still spawn on lower level and they're still going to be as squishy as rn. But who knows? I'm just speculating here. And trust me, I was just as disappointed as you are when I realized they're new enemy type. A weak one, to say the least. I killed a few of them before I even realize it.

Nox and Bursa are tough enemies and they also sport hefty Alloy Armor packages. Why not the Leaping Thrasher? Top it off with Infested Sinew for a full puncture/radiation/cold vulnerable enemy. These are damage types players don't usually bring to fight the Infested!

True. But I'm playing devil's advocate here. DE made it pretty clear that their priority is npe. Any feedback they get about an enemy difficulty, they'll eventually neuter them to a point of lackluster.

And i totally agree. Leaping Thrasher should gain a unique mechanic just like the undying flyer. Whether it be an infested sinew or other, it should be unique compared to the other infestations.

And why did they even go with "Leaping Thrasher" anyway? Not once did I see them leap nor thrash (so far).

    I like the design ,

The undying flyer is actually having interesting mechanics too.

I killed them just as easily as any charger though.

So not too interesting in actual gameplay.

Hmm.. Imagine this... Undying flyers in defection missions. They could knock down the defectors while the rest swarm them. That could be a very viable use for them.
