  1. Some of the bosses are a bit anticlimactic. Seems most of the time it's just a stronger enemy and they spam the weaker ones at you.

Bosses need more variety and to be more involving rather than just running in circles around them shooting.

Most anticlimactic for me however was the end of the Gradivus Dilemma. I was so hoping for a mission on "War" that'd feature Anyo and Ruk on either side.

  2. I've always seen them as Warrior Ninja Monks sorta. They don't really speak, don't really do anything wacky or crazy. They're very calm, serene and collected. Kinda like the blind samurai who's always calm in the movies but kicks &#! like a mofo due to heightened senses. That being said they're named after Hayden Tenno who was apparently the first....who spoke english. Combine that with the transmissions being translated to English. As for what they do in down time? I imagine it'd be things like clean their weapons, sharpen their blades, meditate, and stuff like that.

Ruk and the Grineer who have their own language but have learned certain words to communicate with us. Granted he does this rather poorly..but it's the thought that counts, lol.

Alad and the Corpus seem to make odd noises towards each other. My guess is they have some tech to communicate instantly to one another like some sort of instant phone/radio thing. Alad is a business man and has money, so he probably learned to better sell his wares or was simply taught.

Regardless the case I believe having the Tenno silent helps us put ourselves in their shoes...er...Warframes. I mean look at the fan-art. Some people make ember to be sultry, other make her insane and psychotic. Not giving them a personality helps us reflect ourselves onto them.

  3. I'm gonna be that guy, is our personal information at risk?

    So...

If someone could easily hack/cheat their way into the system to alter values...what's to say our customer information is not at risk? If it's that easy to get in multiple times then c'mon...

This I feel is something that NEEDS to be noted in Rebeccas post.

^I beat ya to it, lol =p

But seriously...this needs an answer. If someone could get into their systems to that easily alter the values why would they bother when they could do SO much more damage. Not to mention who'd be stupid enough to alter the values that dramatically? Anyone with common sense would do it little by little

  4. In the last Prime time and Live Stream it's been mentioned they have a new way of doing the voice for Lotus. Initially they recored her Voice and changed it while doing so. Now they're just recording a ton of lines and setting up a filter to apply. That way the quality and sound of her voice will remain the same even if new events/content dictates she voice additional lines

  5. Most people seem to think It's just the Tenno, Grineer, Corpus, and the infested out in this solar system.

What people fail to realize/understand is there's unspoken colonies. Colonies that the brutal Grineer will decimate and destroy and enslave. That's the loyalist side to the Corpus enforcers. Upholding your duty as a Tenno.

Either way it's a sacrifice...you're either sacrificing your brothers and sisters in their cryopods or sacrifcing the lives of countless colonies. There's possible good and bad repercussions from the choice we're going to make. I for one am staying Neutral. As a Tenno we're supposed to keep balance.

Screw the rewards I'm playing as a Ninja. An agent of opportunity. I'll take the better pay along the way but in the end neither will get to say I supported them wholeheartedly. Not to mention what comes from this conflict? No doubt either Alad will have have his project completed or Grineer will be insanely powerful. Either way I'll be able to deny fault as I refused to pick sides :3

  6. 17 missions available on Mars.

"War" being likely the last one since it IS a Corpus boss mission for that planet.

My guess? This is gonna go back and forth over and over and on Tuesday/Wednesday things will even out and both Alad and Ruk will speak out about some special last battle on "War". Even the name is perfect. Alad most likely cannot fight himself...he's pays and users others to do his fighting for him, that being said perhaps one big last battle where Ruk AND Sgt. Nef Anyo are on the field? Or possibly replace Anoy with Alads pet thing.

  7. If they skins added little designs to the warframes I'd buy it.

At the moment we're all over the place fighting and things are so fast you can barely see the skins. I ran 5 missions for the invasion with the same guy...wasn't till the last one while we were waiting at the end for the last party member to reach extraction that I saw the skin on his Soma.

  8. Speaking of those "knives" why aren't the smaller dual weapons positioned like that?

Fang in an "X" formation would look a lot cooler than one atop the other just floating on your butt/back

(SPECIALLY when used with Trinity and her Lobster tail...)

  9. I feel as though most people failed to realize my point in this.

I'm not striving to balance the war. I'm balancing MY involvement for I personally believe the Tenno wouldn't choose one side or the other but rather pretend to and kill as many of each as possible.

I just made the thread to note it'd be cool if we DID choose the neutral path that we'd be given a little unique reward. Something for taking the chance on losing out on both and staying true to balance.

  10. You do not trust someone who can be bought.

You trust someone who appears to believe in your cause. Someone who does not need a monetary incentive to help you. Someone you can forget is your enemy. Someone you begin to call your friend. They become someone you believe you can confide in.

How do you disarm your enemy of his greatest weapon? You ask him for it.

Alad trusts those who can be bought.

He's reluctantly paying credits for aid, telling his men to stand down against you in hopes you won't go completely bonkers and kill them too.

Ruk believes he can bribe us with materials and such

Same thing, he trusts us to accept payment and help him telling his men to stand down.

So long as the reward or payout is befitting both of them will gladly show trust as displayed so far in this event.

  11. If you really wanted to keep the balance, you would've helped the losing side until the event was over in a week. If there were tenno that actually cared about balance and not rewards, then the first node wouldn't have been lost so easily. Your statement about 50/50 being balance is hypocritical because you can see the progress of the missions.

If a mission was staying at 50% then 50/50 is balance, but right now, the Grineer are winning, so if you were actually trying to preserve the balance, you would have done more Corpus missions. 50/50 without 50% stalemate on all nodes is just OCD.

edit: or you are just selling out for the winning faction at the end....

People are greedy, what are ya gonna do, lol.

I alone couldn't help the losing side win. Your post makes it sound as though it was my duty since I want to be neutral, to do missions for them in efforts to keep conflicts going. The way I'm looking at it is I'm staying neutral in regards to the conflict as a whole.

My participation in this event will be equal. Can't simply ignore the rest of the solar system because a conflict arises.

  12. Yes they do gain power but I have to agree with what fatpig84 said. To put it bluntly grineers are not a threat to the Tenno. To keep the balance we just have to retake the land they got from corpus after supporting them. However it would cause a COLOSSAL advantage to the corpus once they get their hands on a Tenno. Do you imagine what they can do with it with their advanced technology? It would annihilate us and the Grineers alike.

But they are a threat to the colonies and innocents among the galaxy. Hence the decisions to choose sides.

    Loyalty or Sacrifice.

Many many people are only thinking of the Tenno and saving them. Why? Because it's our own kind. Our own brothers and sisters. Very little though are thinking about what it means to be Tenno.

  13. Then why is this lone wolf disappointed in the fact he's alone?

We know the general location, but not where within' those locations. One does not merely search a planet quickly. We are infiltrating the ranks under the guise of being on their side. The lotus does not restrict which side we join as they both have their pros and cons. The ultimate goal here are the tenno in captivity. We fully intend to betray either side after putting ourselves in a position to do so with absolute success. We sacrifice nobody and leave only enough survivors to tell the tale of the fools who dared cross the lotus.

When you fail to infiltrate either side, how can you expect to be of any use to the lotus?

There are some who'd disagree and state as Tenno it's our job to protect the innocent and colonies as well from being slaughtered and enslaved.

And yes true the Lotus does not restrict who we side with but again, I'm not saying sit by idly not doing a thing...I'm saying side with each of them for 50-100 missions.

    As for betraying them afterwards?

Alad seems to think we're forming a partnership and Ruk seems to believe we're joining forces with them. We're getting paid after battle regardless if we've turned halfway through or not. So by staying neutral and aiding them both when needed they'll both believe we can simply be bought. If that's not grounds for an epic heist and betrayal I don't know what is.

Regardless though, so what if I don't choose? By going back and forth I'm STILL killing plenty of both which at the end of the day is good for everyone.
