I have never felt this "punishment" in having to remove other mods for augments.

Open the gear wheel and select the Synthesis Scanner again. It works for me; for both scanners.

Dark Dagger?? Really, it's only shining moment was when covert lethailty and blight affected Exalted Blade but that is literally END OF STORY. The glowing butter knife is garbage.
I use it all the time. Love it and always will.

Despite the fact that Windows kept tossing me "Up to date" messages, this was it. Thank you for forcing me to be persistent with clicking the "Check for updates" button.

To begin, I can't say whether or not this was due to a driver update. I'm still under the impression was fully updated, in all regards, before and after this issue.
Simply starting Warframe after clicking "Play" on the launcher results in huge performance drops in every function of my PC, resulting in me Alt-F4'ing Warframe to resolve the issue. A yellow triangle with an exclamation appears in my taskbar, and even lingers after closing the game; I cannot interact with the icon, either.
In one test, I had my Task Manager open to view the usage of Warframe/Evolution Engine; neither presented abnormal or excessive resource usage.

GeForce Windows 10 Drive Version 355.60
Nvidia GeForce GTX 960
Intel i7-4790k
32GB RAM
1920 x 1080, Dual-Display
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Verifying/Optimize cache via launcher had no effect.Checking/Unchecking DirectX9/10 in any combination had no effect.Adjusting resolution settings via EE.cfg yields no effect.Clearing all cache/local data had no effect.Uninstalling, clearing data and reinstalling (including to multiple different drives; SSD or HDD) had no effect. OBS I think. This streaming thing. You can switch it to record only. I believe it's free. S#&$ ton of settings, no length limit. Easy to use.

Thanks for the information. I'd use it, but the file output being limited to MP4 or FLV is a real let down.

You don't have a whole lot of "good" options if you're budgeting "free". Just saying.

First time I've read the suggestion, so I doubt "everyone" has suggested it.
Also, why is it overpowered when Frost can do the same thing in an area-of-effect?

It's called an opinion. Hence why I said biased.
If you really want to know why it's strictly because of redundancy. I'd rather something pitched be unique; however, at the same time, I'd rather not have it changed. Mostly the latter.

More damage, better channeling efficiency, more attack speed, more damage, more CC, more finisher damage (not really used much) or Berserker. These are all things you can sub out LS for. I go for more attack speed since my lag makes everything too slow. They are also all factors that can "optimize" EB. Syndicate mods provided damage, CC and utility all in one slot i. e. Better than any one mod by itself. Therefore, best choice, therefore, lack of diversity. You can say it's mandatory all you want. Opinions differ from person to person on what is best. That's why they gave us the choice to put in whatever we think is best.
You have to remember that he's also claiming (from his user quote) that 90% of the playerbase is meta and strictly min-maxes. As well as that only the other allege 10% who don't, are not to be catered to.
So his point is and will always be justified by his stubbornness to play meta.
This change limits nothing, realistically, in no way shape or form. Only a playstyle will afflict the player with a limitation.

You may want to contact support then. The only way to get demoted from Warlord is either self-demote or if somebody submitted a ticket with probable cause to have you demoted.

Not necessarily. People have requested his scrapped Dark Sector concept for quite some time. This may be put off for the sake of another anniversary proto-skin.

There is no cure-all or single fix that can be done to make everyone happy. The game's balance as a whole, in every mechanic, must be adjusted in tandem.
