The term "Noob" means "a person who is inexperienced in a particular sphere or activity." (Thanks, Google.)

It's not that they're crappy, they just lacks the experience of other people who qualify as a.. Well, "Pro," I guess you can say. Why I restain myself from saying Pro is because.. Well, c'mon, it's Warframe. You can have the worst aim EVER but still get decent kills.

But I don't really call them out for being noobs. I just think that being new and being considered a noob can go hand to hand for people who have no idea what they're doing.

    https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Noob

"Contrary to the belief of many, a noob/n00b and a newbie/newb are not the same thing. Newbs are those who are new to some task* and are very beginner at it, possibly a little overconfident about it, but they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage. n00bs, on the other hand, know little and have no will to learn any more. They expect people to do the work for them and then expect to get praised about it, and make up a unique species of their own. It is the latter we will study in this guide so that the reader is prepared to encounter them in the wild if needed. "

Now let me start this off with, clearly stating that this is my own personal opinion about beginners. This is not a rant, this is not meant to call out people, this is purely all my thought on how new beginners are one of the best things in Warframe.

First off, they don't care what weapons they have or consider "god tier," because they just wanna play at their own pace and make their own decisions, while some people are heavily influenced by the builds that others run. Sure, they may be good, maybe even god tier builds that require god-like mods or rivens, but they go by what they want. Plus, they are willing to do just about ANYTHING. I've met so many new players who are my friends in my squad, and I say "Hey, I gotta go grab some quick resourses," and they'll follow up with saying "Can I come with? Sure, I might not be good but I can try." That, that is loyalty. Even when they know they're not the best and might get dropped on their rear a few times, that's besides the point. The point is that they are willing to do just about anything to help. They don't care if they suck. They just want to help. Sure, some beginners might not want to, but for the ones that do, that's great. Even if you get dropped on your rear, they'd make it their very first goal to rush over to you and help you back up and revive you. In one case, an old veteran of mine, a beginner and I were running a survival mission and we made it a good hour into it, which was VERY surprising. I got killed from a nully and this guy was playing as Mag, rushed over to help me and tried his best to revive me. Don't ask how he did it, but he DID it. He didn't even die. He was surely about to, but the fact he was so commited to picking me back up was amazing.

When I first started playing, I thought the Bo-staff was the best weapon in the game. Keep in mind, this is the BO STAFF, no orokin catalyst, nothing. A plain, fresh out of the trash can.. Bo staff. I got some cool red and yellow colors [because I couldn't get anything else] for it, and I thought it looked like the best thing ever when you could actually make it AND your Warframe glow at certain parts. I played as Volt at the time, because he was my very first Warframe, and the feeling of dashing around at unbelieveable speeds was amazing. Shocking people with my first ability? I was blown away. I actually had no idea there WAS abilities, I thought it was the basic way of attacking, I thought I only had my bo-staff and my powers.

I love being around noobs because I can remember just how it felt to be like them like it was yesterday. It was like I walked in their own skin. In this case, their own warframe. Jokes asside, beginners can be great players. But they also can be made into a bit more rude character by the people they play with. If they play with a person who tells them "Get this or get this, it's good," or "That weapon is trash, get rid of it, ew," it kills the experience. Beginners should have to go through all that stuff first hand and discover these things their own way, not constantly be influenced by people who consider themselves "Veterans." Yes, I know that don't intend on doing ant harm, all they really want to do is teach the player that some things are good and some things are bad.

I have absolutely nothing wrong with veterans. In fact, I have a few friends who are really chill. Then I have a few people who are brand new who I help. I actually have one friend that I told "Hey, go to your market and tell me which warframe you want." He told be frost, and I was lowkey very proud of him, because I absolutely adore frost, but I went on and told him "Hey, if you want his Prime, go to your news and check out the "Prime with Twitch Prime," but he refused, which was perfectly okay. He even told me "I wanna experience the grind," and I felt so touched by this. And so we did. We farmed the Kril. Over. And over. And eventually, we got it. I even took him to every planet he needed to go to, and I got him what he needed. He was so happy to finally get it, and the fact he was so happy to get it made me feel "Wow.. This is what it's like to helpful."

There needs to be more people who are willing to help others like this. If people are going to just refuse to help them JUST because they are new and suck bothers me. Because if you can't take the time to at least just help someone with one small thing [that could only take up to 5 minutes or more], and actually be rude to them about it, then what does that make you?

The full point of this is to show that new players need help. They are capable of doing everything by themselves to a certain extent, but if people aren't even going to bother taking the time to help him/her with whatever, even if it is just a short mission, then that might discourage them from playing it.

Love how you use "noob"(a crap player) instead of "newbie" (new player).

Dear players, since each has their own separate spawning of fish and minerals, there is really no reason to gather these resources in a public match. Especially when there is night on the plains. I kindly ask everyone still doing these activities in a public session to switch their matchmaking to private. It's hard enough to find a quick random squad to do a Teralyst hunt when 9 out of 10 missions join you to someone fishing.

If you want to hunt Teralysts, find a group in recruiting. People do w/e they want in public matching.

I've been wondering since I saw it, hoping it would be explained in a future quest and maybe it will be, but I can't take it any more, I have to ask.

Why the crap is there infestation on my ship? Walk to the back from the cockpit and take the left ramp down from the arsenal, then look left at the bottom. Infestation. <JackieChanWTF.JPG>

If I can't even keep my own ship clean, how can I ever hope to cleanse the Origin System?!

What were you expecting after not cleaning it for millennia? Sentient life forms are bound to appear from your trash.

I can't watch on twitch since twitch is really S#&$ty for its delays (I live in france, bad comnection and so on... so, for any stream, I need to watch them with a delay of 5 to 30 seconds, what does twitch do? If you have a delay, it actualize your page, great, now let me watch my page actualizing for 2 hours since I'm forced to have a DELAY)

I love when I'm forced to watch on youtube and lose a chance to get plats or lose tons and tons of items, yay

    Why not watch on both?

Yes but it’s the collectors mentality (I’m not for the idea btw) I think it gets worse the higher MR you get, I’m sat here all I need is Loki prime and his access gear, which I don’t mind waiting for in December.

yeah of course sometimes I think “it would be nice to have excal prime” that’s only because I do like to get everything , and it seems like that MR bar moves so so slowly these days.....

but it as I said, I think a lot of it is down to how DE creates the feel of the game making you want to get everything

I won't even bother trying to collect everything (especially hideous infested items).... I clearly don't share what you claimed as the main goal.

I wouldn’t say it like that, I think a lot of it is down to how DE makes warframe

the entire and ONLY POINT of the of whole game is “collect everything to level up” like Pokemon in a way, you’re not “finished” till you got em all.

So in a sense of Pokemon, it’s like the creators of that going “we gave out 1000 of these cards that we’re never making again”

it creates want want for an item because DE agave spent year’s trying to convince us we need everything in the game

But you have an Excalibur that can do what Excalibur Prime does.

The Exilus Adapter giveaway wasn't actually an official DE thing; it was a surprise party favor provided by Rebecca (most of the other folks, including the usual Devstream guys, didn't know about it).

That said, the official forum announcement for Devstream 100 did mention the following line:

Prizes? Why yes, we will be giving away many, many prizes to celebrate this huge milestone!

Rebecca was excited about celebrating the 100th Devstream, and wanted to give a small treat to the Tenno who came to celebrate with the rest of the team. It was in no way intended to make those not in attendance jealous — as you said, that would be a horrible business tactic! Rather, it was intended to be a fun gift for everyone at the party. The fact that so many Exilus Adapters were given away was an unintended bug, one that they stopped as soon as they realized it was happening.

    Mother Lotus is best.

Excaliber Prime is not released again. It is the promise of DE, and they never violate this.

Well, I DO think that they may relase an another version of Excaliber, though, but It is danger to release something looks similar to Excaliber Prime. Same stats seems OK, but NOT same looks.

IF I am a DE staff, and I have a plan to release an another version of Excaliber, then I will also give the new type of Excaliber to all people that bought founder pack by free. I doubt that they are not so rich enough to get a new Excaliber(both real worlds and in-game), but anyway free new Excaliber for the founders still makes them special, and it would be also the minimum of decency as well.

No, if us founders want a new-type of Excal that requires payment, we'll pay for it like we did for founder packs.

So not only are you encouraged to kill the harmless wildlife in the Plains (there's even an achievement for doing so) but even when you are able to acquire these species as a decoration for your lander, they are confined to a tiny cage with no option of basic interaction like feeding or petting them...

    Stop animal cruelty in Warframe!

P.S. and before anyone brings up the topic of FISH - no, they are not the same, because they are simply much lower on the food chain.

We should turn them into food.

    Hey ya'll!

Could we founders get some love and be able to buy lato/skana (excal prime for those who have either lost it/sold it, or something?) prime for irl money? Talking about prime access-like package, which would be only available for founders.

Ive been reaaally keen to buy lato/skana prime for ages now, and wouldnt mind spending lil bit cash on them. What are your thoughs?

My god... You know better than to ask that. You're embarrassing your own kind.

I'm not a founder however I'm here to ask, Why the hell can't these few exclusive, special people, Not understand what the meaning of exclusive is? "If you don't like these ideas (because you are a founder)" Now, to address the arrogance of this sentence. You know there are other people (Most of this community) that accept what the word "Exclusive" means and how important that word is to others. I've seen multiple threads of this same topic repeating the same ideas over and over (Guess what, you just were added to the repeated Idea list!) and they all are given the same answer by People, Founders and None Founders (Mainly None Founders) saying that it should stay exclusive and have no issue with it. The only real things founders have to fear is if DE give into people like you making a ca-motion over nothing. Also you know we're getting Excalibur Umbra too right? Isn't that enough for you?

This video is also quite helpful for those who continue to make "Founder Exclusive" or "Excalibur Prime exclusive" Threads.
