  1. hi, i decide to make a topic so i have somewhere to share my warframe artworks, since ive finally decided to share my art with the world.

     

    im gonna start with an artwork i completed about a month ago, that i am currently in the process of recreating, since the original copy was stolen. the original took roughly 6 hours spread over a two day period.

     

    this is a charcoal drawing of ember prime, done on 18x24 paper and using soft pastel for the helmet. while it didnt turn out horrible, i overall was slightly dissatisfied with the outcome, so i plan on doing another one, ill probably do a few warframe/weapon combos, next one will probably feature excal prime or umbra, havent deciced on which one or which weapon yet.

  2. hi, i am a very avid fan of warframe, but due to real life getting in the way, i was mostly unable to properly enjoy the game/socialize/etc,  but now that my affairs are more in order, i wanted to rather formally introduce myself before i dove back into the game, and this time i wanted to be a part of the community.

     

    im here to play hard, laugh hard, play easy and make friends, i hope we get along.

     

    i also make warframe art and hope to make videos soon, so be on the lookout for more warframe related content from me.

  3. lately ive been playing alot of hydroid, and i noticed a very particular change that occured in 17.2.6, that im not sure was listed in the patch notes.

     

    basically, tentacle swarm is now aimable, and is now spawned at wherever hydroid is aiming, as opposed to before, where upon cast it always spawned at your current location.

     

    this is a great and welcome change, as it is adds a significant amount of functionality to the ability without removing any, as it can still be easily used as it was before, simply by aiming straight down before you cant the ability.

     

    hydroid is honestly in a terrible place right now, being both hard to acquire and utterly useless when compared to literally any other frame. but with a few quality of life fixes, can be a very spectacular frame, so while you are at changing him, any of the following changes would also be helpful.

     

    -make his 1/4 one handed (can cast while aiming/reloading)

    -hydroid naturally regenerates his own health while in his 3 (augment still allows it to apply to others)

    -make his 1/4 recastable (limited amount of instances, similar to snow globe)

     

    -imo his 2 should be redone entirely, ideally into something that does the following

     

    hydroid summons an impenetrable wall of water, then propels it forward, with it creating a small explosion upon contact with any surface or enemy (not an ally) or after traveling for a certain duration. any contact with the wall of water or its explosion will damage and ragdoll the enemy and propel them slightly

     

     

    these changes would be very simple to add and would improve hydroid significantly, and give him an actual role in the squad as an area of denial/caster and make him a fun combo of volt/vauban

     

     

    thoughts?

     

  4. instead of releasing new mods that do the exact same thing that old mods do, but better, they should actually fix the old mods.

     

    its plain stupid that we still have +30% ips mods, and 15% status mods, and releasing new ones (that you cant actually obtain in game) is a bandaid solution at its finest.

  5. Corrosive, Steel Charge, Rifle Amp, and Energy Siphon

     

    rejuvenation should be added here.

     

    it should also be noted, that unless you are doing insanely high endless void/grineer, then corrosive projection is largely useless, whereas rejuventation functions great in most of the game.

     

    i do however agree with you, and energy siphon is largely the best aura for any caster frame

  6. steel charge is the only one with 9 (it was actually higher for a while), and it was done so with the release of melee 2.0, to not only buff melee but to give further incentive to use melee and or melee builds.

     

    the only three that have only 5 are rank 3 auras only, and were released much later than the first group of auras (u12 vs u9), and was mostly just a failure on DE's part to balance them properly.

  7. here are some facts from the game to consider:

     

    -grineer and corpus cannot control warframes 

    -alad v can control warframes, by using infested flesh (mesa/patient zero)

    -infested, therefore, can control the warframes

    -proto-rhino is compared to an infested (rhino prime codex)

    -tenno are survivors from the void (excalibur codex)

     

    so, in short

     

    technocyte - void = infestation

    technocyte + void = tenno

  8. -braton prime was buffed because alot of people asked for it

    -braton vandal was not because not many people have it (nor can anyone get it)

    -prisma/wraith gorgon are not based off each other, they are based off the vanilla gorgon (obviously)

    -braton vandal is not an event weapon, it was a free gift

    -lato overall just needs to be buffed, all versions

    -more latos would only be more redudant, we definitely do not need 5 of them

     

    it honestly sounds like you just want the braton vandal buffed (which would be fine) but the rest of your suggestions are unnecessary 

  9. this happened to be while playing oberon. apparently it happens when you use an ability and receive a knockdown while casting said ability, resulting in your character being stuck for the remainder of the mission

    pointed wind is another great example of where the quick melee should change.

    blind justice not only already alters the quick melee, it basically alters everything from the idle, the grip, the slide attack, and even the stealth finisher, probably one of the most complete stances imo

  11. For a game about space ninjas, only a few have "ninja-like abilities" It would make sense if all frames could be more than useless in stealth scenarios. 

     

    or, we can have each frame be unique and not have items that invalidate them.

     

    you dont have to be "ninja" to be stealth, and there are already a number of options available, banshee is a terrific example.

     

    it sounds like OP just wants every frame to be ash/loki, when he can simply just play ash and or loki.

     

    the game itself focuses on much more than stealth, so the fact that not all warframes offer more than just stealth is a good thing.
