  1. i'm talking about making a new mod, and if there is a bug that causes crits to do more damage to headshots feel free to report it

     

    its not a bug its a feature

  2. try that without critting? i was talking about straight up damage to headshots, not damage to headshots+criting, this current mod is only working on weapons with high crit chance, 

     

    you are aware that if you buff damage to headshots, you also buff damage to headshots + crits? the latter more so than the former?

     

    wouldnt it just make more sense to fix the current crit system instead of breaking it further?

    1) would only server to bring more dps

    2) would not add any teamwork

    3) would dilute the current roles of each warframe

    4) there are already latency issues with 4 players

    5) more players is only more cumbersome

    6) higher numbers =/= more difficulty

  4. Mmmm, no that would be the copy of your frame , I mean the real actual frame you made.

     

    the frames themselves are not sentient. they require someone inside them.

     

    this would the equivelent of your housekeepers walking around your house wearing all your favorite suits

    I'm just saying, we have rocket launchers and laser guns, why not mines or mounted turrets?

     

    and i already explained why we dont have mines, or mounted turrets, or any other deployable gear weaponry 

     

    "because we have warframe powers"

     

    this is the answer from DE themselves, you are not the first one to suggest this.

  6. I swear the Plasma sword had High impact damage, rather than Electric damage before Melee 2.0

     

    it did. for some extremely do reason the plasma sword was chosen to replace the lecta as the "35 damage electric weapon" while the lecta was bumped up to a 45 damage electric weapon.

  7. banshee, rhino, and nova are the highest "dps" frames respectively (assuming you are talking about skills that boost weapons)

     

    -banshee's sonar improves weakpoint damage x5 (can be boosted by strength mods, up to x11)

    -rhino's roar gives you a pure damage boost (can be boosted by strenghth mods, up to x2 damage)

    -molecular prime makes your enemies take x2 damage (effectively doubling your weapon power)

     

    there is also ash/loki for invisiblity with its x4 melee boost, which can also be provided by excalibur with radial blind (when it decides to work >.>)

     

    trinity, oberon, and nekros are your support classes, (in the order of healing power) but trinity is the only true healer

     

    lastly, any frame can "increase weapon dps" by using the corresponding aura mod, typically rifle amp or steel charge, the former for all non-shotgun primaries, and the latter for melee weapons

  8. To be fair and honest, I never knew of the level cap on non endless gamemodes. I suppose I could change my argument to fit endless gamemodes, as I feel it does adhere more to that considering that is the only place you will find higher level scaling.

     

    its understandable. the playerbase loves to largely ignore all content that isnt 1hour+ survival/defense because those are by far the most lucrative gamemodes. 

     

     
    DE has already stated the are not going to balance past 20 minutes/waves because it is literally impossible to balance for infinity, and what they honestly need to do is balance it for 5 minutes instead so you are actually fighting for survival instead of just slaughtering enemies waiting for your reward

     

    honestly, the real reason people look for "higher level" enemies, is because there is more loot and exp that way, not because they are looking for a challenge.

     

    the mission feedback survey can attest to that.

  9. we already have a cap and its set to 38-40 <- all non endless gamemodes end here, alerts are capped here as well

     

    (and the "end" time for survival defense is 20 minutes/waves)

     

    DE has already stated this numerous times i dont get why people act like they havent

     

     

    that being said, the game is still horribly unbalanced for that level of content.

  10. Its not enough as is though

     

    Board prime has a mastery limit of 2 and is considered the most powerful damage dealing weapon in the game (situationally,Ogris and such)

     

    Latron prime is high tier and has a mastery of 0

    no i dont get what you mean, unless you are trying to say the only thing that can stop a player from making a new account and getting endgame gear is mastery, which i would have to disagree with that entirely.

     

    prime gear doesnt necessarily have the mastery requirements because it already has very heavy RNG requirements.

     

    i was just stating that the mastery system does exist and locks you off from certain equipment. you cannot just start a new account and craft rhino/soma for example.

    Frames and weapons tier locked a bit more to show progress

     

    Rather than grabbing a prime and jumping right into end game...

     

    the only way to "grab a prime and jump into endgame" is to buy all your content, and that is making a conscious effort to skip progress, so im not exactly sure what your point is.

     

    and there are already frames and weapons locked by tier. its called the mastery system.

  12. There is a certain point where using corrosive will give you more effective DPS than damage against overly levelled grineer and so on.

     

    yes, that is true, but that only applies to level 60+ heavy grineer only and only after 10+ corrosive procs, so your point is largely irrelevant.
