  1. -snip-

again, the ship was reported as "fully intact, full enviromental as if it never left" ruling out the possibility that the ship was damaged due to radiation.

there is also the fact that there are kids present at all. the zariman was a miltary research ship, not a playground.

what do you think the children were doing on a military science ship in the first place for, other than being tested on with infestation? which we can confirm the orokin did in fact do.

the fact that the crew was missing, is an even further evidence. if the children can survive the apparent radiation why couldnt the adults?

not to mention, kaleen is a freaking scientist, she would not be dumb enough to just walk into a highly irradiated ship.

  2. There isn't evidence in Ember Prime's Codex entry, but in Rhino Prime's Codex entry. I'm saying it's something the Orokin do afterwards, not something that happens when they go to the Void.

if simply going to the void made gave you tenno powers, then literally everyone you fight in the towers would be a tenno, since they are in fact located in the void.

the zariman did not have atmospheric contamination or damage either it is explicitly stated in the text, kaleen reported it as "completely intact, full environmental, as if it never left", ruling out the possiblity of the ship being contaminated due to radiation

its safe to assume the children never left the ship, but instead killed the crew and hid from anyone else would they thought were looking for them.

and the line at the end suggests the kids where being tested on. the zariman ship was a military ship being used for science, not a cruise ship. there would not just be kids simply roaming around on it, for any circumstances.

kaleen is the principle investigator of the ship, meaning she is the scientist in charge of whatever research project they were doing on the zariman, more than likely a project with the infestation, hence the ship having quarantine protocol.

  3. We know the Tenno were "twisted" by the Void. They weren't twisted by the Infestation. They were twisted by the Void. That is NOT up for debate.

im saying they are twisted by both.

they are without question twisted by void, not arguing there, but that does not suddenly prevent them from being infested, especially when there is evidence to prove it.

  4. -snip-

simply going to the void does not give you powers, otherwise literally all the enemies you fight in the towers (which are located in the void) would have tenno powers. baro ti' keer is known to loot the towers as well, and he is clearly not a tenno and most likely does not have tenno powers.

and considering the children were hiding on the ship, and the ship had a perfect working atmosphere inside, they more than likely never left the ship, and the ship was seemingly fine aside from the hiding children and missing crew.

what do you think happened to all the adults on the ship anyway? why would the children be the only ones hiding?

the tenno children probably killed all the crew members in a similar fashion to how proto-rhino does in his codex entry.

kaleen could not have been burned by void radiation since she never went to the void with the ship, since she had no clue what had happened to the ship when it dissappeared, she didnt find it until it got back, and if the radiation burned her? wouldnt it have also just burned all the children on the ship as well? especially if they were just "normal kids" before they went into the void?

  5. I will defend to my grave that the creature in the RPC was not a Tenno, but was rather a Technocyte creature ala Lephantis who was "a creature created to fight in the old war"

hahahaha then why is the rhino prime codex entry about a random infested who just so happens to be using rhino charge, iron skin, and roar, but it somehow isnt rhino?

ANYTHING can stand silent and calm. ANYTHING can stand without violence.

It was acting like a wild animal with a side of revenge thrown in.

my point is simply that your statements directly contradict each other.

if proto-rhino was just a wild animal looking for revenge, he would have simply killed both davis and the narrator, he would not have simply been standing calm, looking at his hands.

he probably only killed the security guards in self defense, since they were in fact shooting at him. instinct more than likely kicked in, and he used both iron skin to protect himself, and rhino charge to escape.

  6. -snip-

you are missing some details from the ember prime codex, i didnt say they happen, literally right after, only that the ember ones takes place first.

obviously some time had to have passed, and considering there is a cryoroom where they keep them, the amount of time can be ambiogous.

the children had to have been infested before the rhino prime entry because a child (ember) burned kaleens face.

so how did ember burn kaleen if she wasnt infested? why was she even quarantined in the first place? it doesnt make any sense to just assume going to the void gives you fire powers since there have been many people go to the void and dont have infested powers, such as all of the enemies in the tower, or anyone who loots them, such as baro ti keer.

we dont quarantine baro ti' keer? so why would just quarantine people for simply going to the void?

even if there may not be a specific "fire infested" we already know the infested have powers similar to the tenno, electric crawlers(volt), ancient disruptors(mag), toxic infested(saryn)  and ancient healers(trinity) are all proof of that.

  7. ... That thing was NOT acting like a child. It was acting like a wild animal with a side of revenge thrown in. You're REALLY stretching it by saying that it's a child because he's never seen it "free", it's "free" because it's "without the shield, without restraints" that kept him and it separated. It was LITERALLY tied down before this, whenever the narrator was experimenting on it and its kind, and this is the first time he's encountered it with no safety precautions in place.

let me leave the following lines from the rhino prime codex entry for you to read.

The beast fills the doorway, inches from him, dripping in blood, but still without violence

he turns back to the beast now silent and calm

    "without violence"

    "silent and calm"

    your argument is invalid.

proto-rhino is basically a kid running around like a chicken with its head cut off, since he just returned from a living prison (zariman in the void) and was taken to an unknown place with strange people, and he has no idea what his happening to his body, hence him just staring at his hands, he is more than likely thinking "what in the world happened to me, what happened to us?"

  8. I've seen how they are all connected, and I've commented on such already.

i will just take the dialogue and explain it to you, since you dont seem to be capable of it.

the following is from the ember prime codex:

Nothing ever returns from the fold, so I closed the case.'

'We thought it was empty but we began to find...' 'We began to find children hiding in the ship."

the following is from the rhino prime codex:

I have seen this monster before. I have cut its shell and eviscerated its brothers. I have given it pain and measured its response. I have crafted then rejected countless like it. But I've never seen this beast so close, without the shield, without restraints. I have never seen it... free.

considering the narrator says he has expirence with the type of creature rhino is, it is impossible for him to be referring to the fact he returned from the void, since the children from the zariman are the first to do such.

the narrator has experimented on many infested before,  but he had never seen one with behavior of a child, children are much less inhibited by adults and that is what gives protorhino his sense of freedom

i am not "pulling things from my butt" i am simply reading the text properly.
  9. Oh yeah, I don't disagree that they experimented on the children and they eventually became the Tenno,  but I just have a feeling that it was happenstance, those children were a surprise to everyone.

again, the fact that davis is dropping notes (likely from the ongoing experiement) and is calm even while being chased by proto-rhino, even while the narrator who is also an scientist very well experienced with infested, thinks he is going to die, means that davis probably knows something the narrator doesnt. neither the narrator, nor kaleen, both experienced scientists, did not known of the childrens existense, and the orokin openly denied their knowledge to the scientist in charge, means that th the fact that very few people probably knew of the childrens existence. the fact that he knows where the children were kept, and is even capable of leading one to their, means he is more than likely the one who put them there in first place.

he says, "no one would would have believed me", means that this is more than likely something he predicted that everyone else either thought was crazy or didnt want to do, but regardless means that davis more than likely had knowledge regarding the experiment.

davis, with profit in mind, theorized that children would make better hosts, but kaleen rejected the idea due to moral reasons, so he did it in secret, much to kaleens outrage, and the orokin's indifference.

  10. Well that's what I mean, they found children on the Zariman, and kept the bodies of the children they found in a cooler.  There's no confirmation that they sent  those children into the Void.

it was more than likely something davis did in secret, since the ship secrectly dissapeared and returned, and davis is shocked when his idea works and says "No one would believe me" at the end of the rhino prime codex entry.

however, the fact remains, that regardless of whether or not it was done on purpose, the orokin still decided to experiment on them. against the will of kaleen, who was in fact the scientist in charge of the experiments (presumably infested) being done on the zariman

we know that the zariman is the only known ship to return from the void, and that the warframes were built around the ones who returned from the void, so we can safely assume that the warframes were built around the children the from the zariman.

  11. -snip-

the fact is that the ember prime codex entry says the only ones found on the zariman were children, and the rhino prime states there was a cryoroom where they kept the subjects from the zariman, meaning the orokin had kept children in there, more than likely to continue experimenting on, rhino's prime codex entry is literally one of these experiments in progress.

  12. There was a quarantine because the ship returned from the Void, the crew dead. There was no Infested presence in the Void nor on the ship, nor was there just one child on the ship. You are assuming that quarantine automatically means infested. You are wrong.

    wrong.

the orokin did send quarantined infested ships into the void. some ships did not make it into the void and hence we have the derelict ships, lephantis being one of the old orokin expirements that failed since they couldnt control him.

when the orokin could not control adults effected with the virus, they started to try children.

kaleen had no knowledge of this, hence she confronts her superious in the ember prime codex entry. she is mad because wants to save them the children, not subject them to more expirement, consdering they had just literally went to hell and back, and were absolutely scarred for life.

using children however, turned out to be successful. in the rhino prime codex entry tells it all.

it explains how davis is leading the narrator to what appears to be cryoroom where they hold the children that were quaratined on the zariman. the fact that he says he has experimented on many like him, refers to how he has done many experiments on the infested, when he says, he has never seen one so free, he refers to how he has never seen an infested child. line where davis says "no one would have believed me" and the fact that he is the one who leads the narrator to the room even while being chased by room, implies that not only did he have expierence working with the infested, that he is more than likely the one who suggested that they use a child as a more suitable host.

the reason rhino looks at his hands at the end instead of killing them at the end, is very likely because he either remembers who he is by seeing his brothers, and or he more than likely is afraid of what he has become himself. davis more than likely infected the children without telling anyone, since kaleen, the lead scientist of the zariman, tries to protect them from the orokin, and is outraged when the orokin wont tell them what they are going to do with the children.

  13. The kids on the Zariman (and they are kids, not just one kid) aren't infested. That comes later, with Rhino's Codex entry.

they certainly are. ember's prime codex entry states:

and that is when you violated procedure?

so you broke quarantine and this happened you?

meaning she was well aware of the child being infested, and still went in to comfort her because she was afraid.

  14. so, i just went ahead and made a new topic, using all the evidence in the game, its much, much more coherent.

i realize why not everyone understands what im saying,  i didnt really use alot of details. instead of talking about a small aspect of the game, i should have just used a bigger one to support it, so i decided to reevaluate the ingame lore, and find more details to finally provide clarity. upon doing this, i was actually shocked at how easy this game is to misunderstand.  we were all so confused before, since the amount of information in the story is so few and far between, and most importantly, we aren't even given them in any sort of chronological order. but once you put alot of the details in order, you would be suprised. warframe is an amazing story, but you really have to connect the dots. we have infact already been given the entire tenno origin story.

  15. here is how it goes

-orokin are attacked by the sentients

-sentients use the orokins technology against them

-the more the orokin use technology, the greater their losses, the orokin are beginning to lose the war

-orokin being to looking at more simple technology

    -orokin being to create bioweapons

-orokin expirements were done using technocyte virus, leading to infestation

-orokin send "rejected ships" into the void, the ones that didnt make it becoming the derelict ships

-orokin perform their biochemical weapons expirements in the void, to achieve different results

-zariman ship is reported to be lost in the void

-families of the crew are notified of the death of crew

-kaleen is a scientist working onboard the zariman

-kaleen finds the ship, perfectly fine

-kaleen finds nothing but children onboard the ship, presumably infested

-kaleen breaks the quarantine to comfort the child, is injured in the process

-orokin perform more expirements with the children from the zamiran, with much success

-orokin build the warframes around the children recovered from void

    -the children, become the tenno

-the tenno win the war for the orokin

-the tenno soon betray the orokin

    -the tenno enter cryosleep

-the solar systems falls into disarray

-the lotus wakes the tenno up without thier memories

    -warframe's story begins

so, what does all of this mean really? what really happened? where is this all going?

ready to have your mind blown?

so, the orokin losing the war with the sentients, and are getting more and more desparate. they eventually begin an attempt to develop super soldiers using the technocyte virus, similar to the legendary hayden tenno himself. kaleen and davis, orokin scientists being their experiments. they are a complete failure. the test subjects reject the virus, lose their sanity and become extremely violent. the orokin scientists continue to experiment with little result. desperate, davis decides to perform a secret expirement. he performs a secret experiment in the void using the zariman. kaleen, eventually finds this ship, somehow, perfectly functional. the crew were gone, replaced by something different. children, hiding in the ship. and these children have been infected. however, infested or not, but they are still children. terrified and alone. kaleen breaks the quarantine protocol and goes to save them. she pays the price, and is scarred forever. she is not deterred, she is not scared, she is furious. she confronts her superiors. "why were these children there? they are innocent! what are you going to do with them?! was this your plan all along?!" she cannot believe they would go so far as using children, (infested or not) on this wicked experiment and their attempt to cover it up. they deny everything, and the children are taken away. kaleen knows whats going to happen next. she watches as the kids are taken away, and forced to endure wicked expirements. the subjects from the zariman are experimented on. they are much different mentally, due to either there young age, their surivival of the void, or more than likely both. their behavior is much less violent, the new subjects are finally controllable, the project is a huge success. these new creatures are given a name, tenno, in honor of the one that came before them. they are given fashioned suits like his, both to focus their power, and hide thier hideous form. they are trained with simple and ancient weapons. they grow into magnificent warriors, and become legends of the battlefield. they defeat the sentients and win the war for the orokin.

kaleen has seen the truth. the orokin are monsters who will stop at nothing to achieve power and control, and have defeated their greatest threat. the balance of power has shifted, but peace has been restored. yet at what price? what place did the tenno have in a time of peace? they were considered monsters, and incapable of living normal lives. they have had their humanity taken from them, and all they know is violence, they cannot rest. kaleen makes a decision, maybe she has been planning it for a long time, but the time to act is drawing near. it is time for this to end. she has watched these children grow into magnificent warriors, she watched them work so hard, but for what? they will give them their reward. she reveals the truth. your masters are not who they seem, they cannot protect you. the tenno recongize kaleen, she has been there all along, she was the one who saved them, she is the only one who accepts them. she will protect them like their parent couldnt, the tenno recongize their mother. "you've worked so hard, you've endured so much, im so proud. its time for your final task tenno, kill the ones who took everything from you, and then you will finally be able to rest". the orokin celebration is short lived, and quickly turns into a funeral. everyone is shocked, the tenno are labeled betrayers. but to kaleen, this matters not, she knows the truth, and these are her children. with their final task done, she puts them into cryosleep, so they may finally rest. she allies with celephon ordis, and uses him to wipe the tenno's memories, and he wipes his as well. now she has one final task. there will be a time where the galaxy once again needs the tenno, these forgotton warriors. kaleen becomes the lotus, to be there to wake us, to guide and protect all our future tenno, and restore balance to the solar system once more.

-kaleen finds infested children on the zariman, is injured in the process

-children are taken away and their existence denied.

-children are experimented on, eventually having the first (prime) warframes build around them,

-children are trained in the art of blade and gun, becoming the tenno.

-the tenno win the war for the orokin

-kaleen convinces the tenno to kill the orokin, out of revenge

-kaleen puts the tenno into cryosleep

-kaleen uses ordis to wipe their memories, ordis proceeds to wipe his own

-kaleen becomes the lotus, to guide the tenno in the future

read the codex entries of ember, rhino prime, excalibur, and mag prime, in that order, then go back and listen or read all the dialogue from the quests, and it should suddenly make more sense. there is further evidence for this in the spoilers.

Bravo, DE you have made quite the gruesome and dark tale, quite inspiring.

what makes the zariman children so special, is that they are the only known survivors of the void, the only ship ever to come back, since they were sent to the void as children, and probably already infested at that point, they probably never even learned to speak, nor were they influenced by the infested hivemind, they may have even forgot how to speak due to from the trauma, but it also explains why the tenno never speak. it is also possible that the tenno themselves where actually born in the void, but that idea is much less likely. the exact time kaleen becomes the lotus is unclear, but its more than likely that she began to wear her headgear to cover up her scars, and also why the lotus is referred to as "eyeless" since kaleen does infact lose an eye to the child that would become ember prime.

finally, the reason the tenno are called betrayers, is simply because most of the general orokin population were ignorant of the horrors the orokin had commited, especially the ones to the tenno. they still though of the orokin as benevolent leaders who and worshipped them. one of these fanatics would become the stalker. the ember codex entry proves that they knowingly covered up the information, and the use of neural sentries in the towers proves they also were capable of mind control, and more than likely used heavy brainwashing.

warframe actually has a pretty great story behind it, its just extremely vague and not in order, so hopefully this acts as a reference to anyone who is confused.

  16. -snip-

so, even though the game explicitly states, on numerous occasions, that we are living, breathing, flesh and blood creatures, that may at some point in the distant past be something close to, or in fact human, but have now transcended as such, now wearing a variety of different size suits, yet are still beings who can be physically injured, and even die, people still refuse to believe it as canon.

to make matters worse, the arbitrary idea that we are energy beings even though there is not only no evidence to imply it nor confirm it, yet even evidence to deny and disprove it, it still think it is somehow the more plausible idea and therefore canon.

it seems i underestimated the people, i concede.

  17. "I am surging your Warframe's power systems." (Lotus during the intro of Vor's Prize, immediately followed by the player character doing the revive animation and knocking enemies away)

"I'm trying to surge the revive system but I can't, I'm too far away." (Lotus, talking about Mirage during her capture, Hidden Messages quest)

you are taking it out of context, in neither of those two cases you mentioned were the tenno actually already dead, only dying

fyi, the game also refers to ressurecting from a downed state as "reviving", as well, ie from a downed stated.

im assuming the revive system has more to do with that, and also has something to do with which how we capture targets.

also, if we are energy, but tied to the body and die with it, then for all intents and purposes we are not energy.

"a body tied to a conciseness that gives it energy" can literally describe any living being, yourself included.

  18. The argument could be made that the Warframe to which the Tenno is currently bound is their version of this "Janus Key", and when the Warframe is shattered the Tenno is shattered as well - the revive system only being able to bring it back to life so many times.

how can that arguement be made? there is nothing to support it and this is largely a major strecth since while its been proven the tenno can live a long life (due to their infestation) there is absolutely no evidence to support immortality.

why would the lotus (and even ordis) be so conserned with our lives and safety if we couldnt even die in the first place? it literally makes zero sense

the revive system has nothing to do with lore, it is simply a gameplay choice, since no game should have permanent player character death.

If you look at it in the sense that a warframe is comprised of an armor fused to a body (in the way the T virus bonds with it's hosts) and the tennos being the energy that gives them purpose/will, death is totally possible.

Vor says "Tenno do not control the Warframe's divine energy. The Tenno are that energy. Each Warframe you control is merely a glass shaping your furious light" if the body dies, the energy dissipates or loses its conduit.

In this way the phrase 'the bodies of our fallen tenno'  would be akin of 'the gear/equipment of our fallen tenno' fallen =/= dead.

what vor was saying was a metaphor

i could literally make the same argument for a hamster powering a wheel

if the hamster dies, the power dies with it, while yes that does make the hamster energy, it does not mean it is suddenly not a living being.

  19. -snip-

    perfect.

seems we only disagree on whether the tenno possess the bodies inside the warframes, or whether they are the bodies themselves. so, i would like to present a bit more information to refute the "energy being theory"

    mortality.

living energy beings, specifically the new vor, have proven that true energy beings cannot die.

the tenno can actually die, whereas vor cannot

there is this line from the lotus.

"Alad V's newest prototype is a monstrosity forged from the bodies of our fallen Tenno"

"Alad V's newest prototype is a monstrosity forged from the bodies of our fallen Tenno"

    case closed.

  20. -snip-

somehow, i forgot to mention another key piece of evidence.

alad v, mesa, mutalist alad and zanuka.

yes, the warframes are more than simply clothes, but the suits cannot be the source of the infestation (and by extention its power) since the tenno

are the ones who actually power the suits, and zanuka has all the power of a tenno while being in a suit clearly made by alad v

"the suit doesnt make the man, the man makes the suit"

this is why non tenno cannot wear the warframes, and why the grineer and corpus never figured out how they worked.  the only person to figuring it out was alad v, and eventually lead to the conclusion that the tenno and infestation share their power, leading to his own infestation, and being successfully able to control a warframe.

  21. It's much more difficult than we think to balance all weapons and certainly need a lot of time to do it...

    it honestly isnt.

DE has had plently of time, have more than enough employees, have had plenty of feedback from the community, and im sure they know how either balance and or how spreadsheets work

however, DE has clearly shown they would rather just make new content as opposed to balancing the older content, and that overall game balance is extremely low proirity

  22. Why would I need to craft chassis, systems and helmet if my warframe ditto just copied it.

Why  do we have gender based warframes if tenno is a shapeshifter therefore genderless?

-the tenno did not make the warframes originally, the orokin did, the tenno only copied them later with substitute materials.

-the warframes need to be crafted since they still need to be worn, they do not become the warframes (think water in a glass)

-the warframes are designed by humans, therefore have human features, such as assigned gender

-the warframes also serve to give the tenno a more human appearance, and make them look overall alot less like monsters,

-the tenno are not genderless, they were human at one point in time (although they probably do not even remember their original gender)

the warframes are not "gender based", they are "people based". the primary reason the warframes have gender is because gender identity is a large part of being human, and makes the warframes more recognizable as such.
