  1. Since Umbra was released when I go into operator mode (5) its fine, but the return to warframe happens more than once. It's like popping back into your warframe twice, or more times, and its VERY disorientating. Usually I am facing in random directions or wind up somewhere that neither my operator norm warframe were at the time of separation. I thought at first this was because Umbra was chasing my operator and protecting it, but it happens with all warframes.

Is anyone else having something like this happen?

This made my day! "Puck-er up, Uncle Tyl"!

    hehehe!

It's one of those things that could be done, the humor is lowbrow, but its already in place in a big way, and its simply a matter of switching what happens where. The nodes are right next to each other even, its not like planet hopping and designing a new mission, DE could just switch them. And we could keep laughing, all except Zeebo69 who will have me dragged out at dawn to be shot.

  3. I had a thought while gazing lovingly upon Uranus.
I think the Mission to assassinate Tyl Regor should be moved from Titania to Puck. This would change everything about how Equinox is farmed and turn it from brutal drudgery to an extended period of hilarity and joy.

Imagine, if you will, announcing to your clan, or perhaps even region chat; "I'm going to Puck Uranus until Tyl Regor is dead". This would generate the kind of enthusiasm not seen since... Well the upcoming update for Sacrifice and Umbra.

It seems to me that Tyl is already very excited now, and that a place named Titania could be put to better use as part of the Silver Grove quest somehow. These two facts make me think this should happen as soon as possible.

Cheers, and thanks for the consideration.

I have been doing that (and thought I was mighty clever for thinking of it) but I get lost almost instantly. I think I have managed to SEE as far as the third platform but that's it.The timer is over before I even get going in any significant way

i wish you could provide some different screen to darken the path or the surroundings because it’s hard for at least me to see anything, and the practice test should be around “practice” not mission style.

I agree with everything you just said, especially the end part. Having the tests in a normal mission map instead of featureless flat land would make a lot of sense. Im at MR 10 with 625,268xp and the only reason now that I can think of to ever do another one of these tests is I want more loadout slots, I bought the maximum allowed and now I have to do these tests to organize my stuff., THAT sucks and it isn't going to happen.

The input system isn`t very good, it breaks easily if you add attack speed, it ignores inputs if you don`t pause in between and simply repeats the last combo you did. Charge attack often gets in the way of "hold" combos. "Pause"-combos are always somewhat difficult to do reliably.

The melee combos system should have been improved along time ago, it`s no wonder the majority resolved to spin2win and lunatic attack speed.

Just look on youtube for some videos about Atterax, Scoliac etc. you should get an idea what spin2win meta is about.

    Thank you!

  7. I dont know what spin-2-win is, but I use the combo stuff in stances all the time, poorly, but thats because Im not great at this stuff. But still, I think its awesome when I get them right.

  8. It's not a bug, they were removed for some reason, and now they are ugly and less intuitive for lack of a better way of putting it. If they did this with warframe skins people would have a fit. Honestly it looks like someone whos not all that good at photoshop cloned out the school symbols, its sloppy, generic and subtracts from their usefulness.

The fact is though its mostly cosmetic, but was also informational, I have a lot of lenses, and now they all look exactly the same. They didn't before and were much more easy to sort through to see what I have, what I can do and so on.

Focus is enough of a pain in the ass without having the fun, pretty, and useful parts stripped away.

  9. Hi guys!

For some reason focus lenses have had their school icons removed both in the bounties screen in Cetus, ones inventory, and the foundry. This is not all that helpful, now they all look the same and while the name of the school appears next to or under them, the visual cue that was removed turns out to have been very helpful.

    Can they be brought back?

    Cheers!

Anyway all i'm asking for is three tries per run instead of one per day.

I agree with that, but then I stopped taking the MR tests a long time ago. I accidentally passed MR9 using it as a way to test Kestrel, a weapon a lot of people think is crap, but which I love. I got carried away and actually finished the test, it was, and will remain my last for a long time. These do not test skills, they test whether you can pass an out of context test in an unfamiliar and visually depthless environment.

the main problem with PVP is that,

    1. PVP ranking. They dont have that, they just dump every single one as long there are matchmaking.

I remember the 1st time i played i trash some one so bad and the 2nd time i got trashed real bad.

    2. It doesnt give much rewards. So why would i want to spend time on this ? When the mods not all of them are that usefull.

    3. You need to do weekly challenge to get alot of conclave point xd

That's all fascinating stuff, and because its not any fun I didnt even know there ARE rewards of any kind, and that's another problem:

You arrive, Tashan tells you stuff that doesn't mean much to new users, and then you die till you quit. You have to quit, there is no graceful exit, and that makes the foolishness that just happened to you sort of embarrassing.

I sort of knew there was points, but I didn't know there were weekly challenges... I guess spawn rape isn't challenging enough.

Thank you for this, Im going to login as brand new me and see if I can learn some more. It's one thing to know what the problems are (and I dont fully as of yet) but its another thing, and FAR more useful to be able to say: "Change this, and here's how" and actually make a concrete suggestion. So, thats what im going to try to do, Figure this out and find a way to make it more fun.

  12. I think I figured out the problem.

I wanted to check out a few things from the beginning of the game again so I made a new account and started checking stuff out (this is surprisingly fun by the way). Fairly quickly, while I was still MR0 someone who was at MR1 challenged me in the conclave, it was a blast. We chased each other all over the place and we both killed each other and laughed when we made mistakes. Then two other people showed up and we were spawn raped to death over and over till the guy who challenged me logged off completely. What bothered me the most about this is that they were unlikely to ever come back. I didnt after the first few experiences when I was new, why would they? What is someone with nothing but an unranked Bo going to do against someone with an assault rifle and all the other stuff they normally run around with? When you are new this isn't going to be at all interesting, or fun.

I managed to give them a bit of a chase, at least knowing how to run, jump and wall latch I was a pain in the neck to shoot, I lasted a little longer which pissed them off. While I was doing that, I was being openly mocked as a "fck'n noob" in chat. That last bit cemented my opinion of conclave and the people in it.

The problem is that new people cant progress, and the people they cant progress against are frankly nasty and not someone you want to be around while you are trying to have fun.

So much for Conclave. Its users created its own demise. Im thinking of going back just to take screenshots, something needs fixing and it needs to be swift and violent.

  13. Is there any way to make them go away? I want to be able to find Cephalon Fragments and have no interest in chasing these down, it would be fine if they accumulated like other drops but compared to Cephalon fragments they are utterly useless (to me), and are in fact royally screwing up my attempt to finish as much of my codex as possible.

The Codex is useful, random bits of never finished music I'm unlikely to ever hear are not.

  14. @Omnimorph

Your ideas mirror mine. I came here for the art too (I'm a ZBrush addict and digital sculptor), discovered that there is a massive history, which you referred to aptly as lore, and then found that despite not being into gaming that the game play in this is astonishingly fun. And that is why I persevered as you also aptly put it. I should say I had a lot of fun doing so, its not that big of a chore to arrive in a place and before you even see enemies you have to run around hunting for the exit.... It could be worse!

What I find so attractive about this is how complete it feels, it not only has a future, its got an enormous and complex (and I think, well thought out) past.

What tiny bit of loot you gained there is such a tiny drop in the bucket in the long run

That gives me a lot of hope, and is clarified a good bit in the next couple of replies. To me it doesn't look like a drop in the bucket, it looks like a vast complex hoard, mostly comprised of things I cant use yet, know nothing about (yet) or that I have so many copies of its preposterous (I fould out that I can melt some of that into Endo).

I sympathise with where you'e coming from, but tbh it's part of the nature of the thing. We've all been the leech, and one day we will all be the carry.

That second part got me thinking (usually this is bad) so I went back to Earth and did an excavation mission. You are not only right, I was stunned. I stood there and laid waste to hundreds of Grineer with little effort while MR1 people ran around collecting a lot of good (I hope) stuff... I think I see what you mean, actually I know I do.

That's trivial amounts of loot, don't stress it.

If you really want to avoid that sort of thing, turn your matchmaking to solo. I did that for a couple years (though admittedly more out of necessity) and I think it was a good experience.

I have been for some of them, the radio tower ones are a great exception to that, but Solo is kind of cool. A little lonely perhaps, but its definitely got its benefits.

Thank you all for this, its something to think about, and I think DE could have a look at some of the dynamics; being considered a leech because you are new is not cool, but maybe it's the personalities of a few high level players. Considering high level players bossy, or self important is not good either, but when you just left spawn and cant find extraction and are being yelled at while being killed, things heat up quick.

  15. I am thinking of making a new account and starting over, here's why:

This morning, I, an mr4 Ivara with completely maxed out weapons with ok mods, went on one of the Konzu's bounties. When I arrived I was directly underneath a Teralyst, died twice in rapid succession and received a pile of loot for no good reason. Escaping that I ran like hell till I was clear of this fiasco and headed off to the mission I was supposed to be on, it was 800+m away, I didn't make it before some other players finished that stage of it. Another free pile of loot. When I finally caught up I was killed instantly by a Grineer Lancer, someone I should be able to take down, and usually do. That got my attention, so I backed off and shot another one in the head until I ran out of ammo, This had no effect and I was promptly killed again, the stage ended and off we went. This time I was careful and hung back trying to pick targets from the edges and hammering them with Ivara's number four power, her (usually very powerful) multi shot bow, it did nothing, the Grineer were immune to it and so I was forced to back way off. The mission concluded successfully and I got a large heap of stuff I simply had nothing to do with. I didn't earn it, I didn't contribute anything except questions, and yet there I was, forced to be a leech in a bounty mission I thought I had initiated. This wasn't the first time, it was just the most blatant and obvious. The problem was simple, I joined a mission at mr4 with players in it that were all mr18 and above. While I dont want to be segregated bt mastery rank, something needs to change somehow, but I'm not sure what. If I didn't earn it, I dont want it.

What I want out of a game like this is a sense of accomplishment, I dont want someone else to do stuff for me. I love teamwork, but this isn't it and while I love my Tenno's, all two of them, and I love doing things with other people, I'm thinking of starting again from scratch. Make a new account, start with a fresh Tenno and begin the process all over again. The problem is that there is only one way to do this properly and that is to do all missions solo or invite only. I know that there are people that love this setup as it causes them to advance very rapidly, but Im not one of those people. So now I have a conundrum, do I abandon my first two Tennos and all this splendid stuff? Or do I keep going and try to do things differently? If I keep going I think its going to eat at me that I didn't make these advances myself, they are only 1/2 mine (give or take). Personally I'm leaning towards making a new account and starting over, I have enough experience now that it will give me a bit of an advantage, but that experience is something I did earn so I'm not too bothered by it.

If anyone has any thoughts on this I would be delighted to hear them, and thank you in advance if you do.

    Cheers,
