1. Out of all the things you "need" to do during missions gameplay - how many unique keys are involved? I really don't know and will be attempting to count them.

The reason I ask is that I am going to be getting a mouse with more buttons on it. So I can use stuff that I never use currently, like channeling, for example.

  2. I'm at the point in the game where I'm accumulating Warframes. Rhino was the first one I ever built.

Call me crazy, but I build every warframe part as I get it (If I don't have it). Now two frames will be finishing up soon - Chroma and Nova. From what I've read, I'm excited to to try both of them out.

Are there any gotchas I should be aware of regarding these frames? Any potent teammate frames to go along with them for optimal mayhem? Thanks

  3. I had Rhino, but I never could understand how ppl say he is nigh invincible - I die just as easily with it. I was dumb and dumped the frame. I make a point to buy plat in order to keep from dumping future frames.

I got Trinity Prime because I wanted to learn how to use it. I got Frost Prime through that Amazon deal - and I started the game with Volt. And.. Nova is < 12 hours from finishing.

Weapons: Tigris, Soma Prime, Lex Prime, Glaxion - I've basically been trying out weapons. The Cestra was my last one - it was just $&*&*#(%& in my book - it wouldn't hit what you were aiming at!

  4. Thanks for the tips about the healing buffer stacking. I'm guessing it's a big combination of learn to play and get to farming millions of endo and credits. My mods are few and weak still, which I'm sure don't help. For reference, I start to have a lot of trouble on level 40 + missions.

I'm pretty sure I don't know jack about this game. I've read the wiki stuff, but I've more than likely haven't put two and twenty eight together.

  5. We got up to Wave 20 and I noticed these, I think they were various types of ancients - I unload a full magazine (Soma Prime) into them and nothing. We were starting to get wiped after Wave 20.

Any suggestions on where I need to be build / damage wise to go past Wave 20 there? I'm not sure what frames the other guys were using as I didn't recognize their abilities.

If your two lexes primes are the only secondaries you have, it won't give the option to craft the Aklex prime cause you need at least one secondary to equip and you won't have any if you started crafting Aklex Prime.

Just simply buy a secondary with credits and you're good to go. (If that's the problem, of course. :v )

This is great info as well.

  7. I did the exact thing yesterday. It gave me an error, but then I clicked on both pistols and proceeded - the build job started. I even had one Lex Prime equipped and it didn't matter. It just auto equipped my Lex when the job commenced.

  8. Thanks yall, it really helps. So much to consider. I try to keep evaluating new weapons etc to see if I can find that perfect combo of suitable to my play style / useful / and just downright fun. I just tried the Boar out yesterday and it's fun as hell. Useless at the moment (level 35 enemies), but really, really fun. Then I switched to a low level Infestation defense and it was so fun watching mobs explode as you hear "BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM!!

  9. Generally speaking, about how many formas do you all typically apply to weapons and warframes?

I'm considering putting a few formas on my Soma Prime at this point and time. What I consider my "best" weapons (in my inventory) are Tigris, Soma Prime and Lex Prime. They all have a catalyst applied. From what I read, you could apply a forma on each slot and change over and over. Would having a polarity on all mod slots be crazy?

I have generation 1 A6 and warframe runs 90+ fps (granted everything is turned down)
    So you'll be fine.

It doesn't matter since you're already OK in game (which I suspected you would be), a quick way to get the video card info (without using radeon tools etc..) is to:
Click on Start, in the text box, type in compmgmt.msc /s then hit enter. This should open up computer management. Click on device manager and in right window, expand display adapters. It should give you the GPU model.

I just confirmed what @Arezael said. That R7 is OK, certainly better most Intel integrated stuff. As a comparison, it's about 4x less powerful than a GTX 750 Ti (which is what I have on in desktop).

Speaking of Ryzen, it's pretty sweet! I upgraded my other desktop to a Gigabyte MB with the entry level Ryzen 1200. Along with an RX 550 and 8GB RAM it chugs along quite well. A big improvement over the Athlon II and GT220 that was in it.

  11. That laptop will be absolutely fine for Warframe. Your laptop is slightly less powerful than my desktop and it plays Warframe quite smoothly. I think I'm running on medium ish settings. Everything looks good. The only thing I would suggest is to get an ssd (if you don't have one). It makes worlds of differences. ;-)
