  1. Just because it's a suit doesn't mean removal isn't incredibly painful.  One of the bosses calls it a second skin and equates its removal with skinning.

I get the feeling that the Tenno were the Orokin's elite guard when they were on Earth.  For whatever reason, they had to leave Earth (I imagine because it got razed during the Old War against the Sentients).  They were probably grown rather than born and likely trained from birth.  At some point, they probably went through some ritual in which a warframe was grafted to them (probably excruciatingly painful).

That said, you don't wake up in Excalibur Prime, you wake up as Excalibur, so obviously during the Old War your suit had been removed and replaced (probably because it had been damaged beyond repair or perhaps you'd become infected with TCV).  Obviously the war would have taken a toll on the resource capabilities of the Orokin and having to scrap things together probably isn't new.  It probably happened shortly before the end of the war as well.  After all, the Orokin lost.

So, yes, it is a suit, and yes, it can be removed, but that doesn't mean it's a pleasant process by any means.

Yes, indeed, this is precisely what I want answered by DE.

Obviously there's controversy on the matter.

  2. There are so many things wrong with this...

If you want to suggest something, you might want to do the following :

    -post facts not opinions

    -be professional about your writing

    -spell correctly

    -POST FACTS NOT OPINIONS

    -You =/= everyone else

    -etc.

I would like an Ash prime but I don't want some one such as yourself asking for it by spewing nonsense.

p.s. Not trying to be a jerk but, c'mon, at least be a little convincing as to why we should have Ash prime as opposed to Mag.

Ignore human errors and try to understand the point instead of making someone less skilled with literature than you seem like a dumb &#! and render their opinion moot. Steve just stated in LS10 that he wants to hear it ALL, the good, the bad and the ugly.

  3. She won't get nerfed. In fact it is far more likely everything else will get buffed.

    This

Also, in reply to your question JohnBVertigo.

I prefer the Nyx Build, as well as the Nova and Ember.

It all really depends on your play-style.

  4. The Warframe is not Synced to you for battle. Its there for LIFE. A Tenno is trained from the beginning, being one with their Warframe, and never taking it off (if that is at all possible).

I would assume the Tenno go through some sort of 'ritual' or initiatian, that makes their warframe around them (assuming that a Warframe is made the same way as Hayden Tenno's one was), so it then would be impossible for them to take it off.

It looks like a suit, and the game calls it a suit, also some bosses refer to removing it and hanging it on their mantle. Its a suit, not a piece of you, like hair, or toe nails.

    • "You hide behind that (warframe). Face me like a true warrior!"
    • "(warframe)? Your pretentious suits are no match for my power!"
    • "Your (warframe) will look great hanging from my wall."

Thats in Vor and Ruk's dialog. Its really close to referring exactly that its not what you are entirely.

    @Dovahjim: noted

If it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck...

  5. I doubt it they are set in two different universes and a life time apart, so they wouldn't look anything like each other.

Also, that is why i ask in first place. I wanna see how far the evolution has gone with that.. race.. human/hybrid thing, that was Hayden.

  6. I believe this one needs a buff. Hes kind of in the dark with no background whatsoever. I think having a pure swordsman boss is cool already and I think there are plenty of ways to go with it. It'll be interesting to see him reworked with new skills and looks like Vor.

  7. Nyx is an asset to the Nova (chaos + molecular prime = unbearable chaos powaaa), Nova abuses Nyx and doesn't call back next morning, then Nyx makes it to high levels and Nova expects help, Nyx is like "I ain't helping you till you learn to treat your friends right. We're on the same side here...".

    There, summed up the comparison.

    Shoulder Mounted Gauss Repeater

    Weapon Use: Primary

    Weapon Type: Heavy Sniper Repeater

    Ammo Type: Sniper Rifle Ammo

    Faction Tech: Corpus

Lore Origin: Seargent Nef Anyo's creation for a high powered weapon designed to fight back against the Grineer during the Fomorian Commerce Blitz, aka Operation Sling-Stone(as known by Tenno, THATS YOU! :D). (would prefer armor piercing, but due to lore, I don't think it would be right to imply that Corpus have armor piercing weapon technology. Then again, given the circumstances it may still be taken under consideration)

    _________

54 damage with 3 meter 50% AoE (with armor piercing) 76 with 6 meter 50% AoE damage(without armor piercing)

    _________

1.5 fire rate (just over 1 round per second)

    _________

0.3 bonus puncture (due to gauss weapon type)

    _________

25 accuracy (or 100% but with the power of it it may have less than your average sniper rifle)

    _________

2 mag capacity(with armor piercing, then knock repeater off the title xD) 4 mag cap(without armor piercing)

    _________

520 ammo reserve, or 60 (open for debate)

    _________

2.1 second reload speed (just replace the dual or quad round gauss core/shell/canister/clip, nothing special)

    _________

15% crit chance (with armor piercing) 25% crit chance(without armor piercing)

    _________

    150% crit damage

Feel and Play-style Goal: A larger weapon to exert heavy damage with a lower mobility rate, it would be more of a wait to strike weapon, if given the right stats. Down the road, it would compete with the Snipetron and Vulkar due to its unique AoE damage type and high powered round velocity.

Disclaimer: Images are not of my own, I found them on google, they're just a reference to give a visual perspective as to what it may look like. Edit- p.s. I like the first pic the most

Edits: A few number typos and some things needed more thorough explaining.

Don't forget to upvote, downvote, reply and/or leave your feedback.

    p.s.s

Probably a good idea, just not the time to submit it, with an overloaded Corpus research lab for the dojo.

(keep in mind for future weapon release?)

    p.s.s.s

I wont stop suggesting this till it happens one way or an other. >:)

  9. As someone else said in a similar topic:

Just blow out a window in a mission, do your thing, then hack a console... you get 50 xp for it too!

Hopefully i hit a external surveillance osprey on the outside of said window >;DD

    p.s.

    GO DIE BRONY

YOU'RE MOST LIKELY A GROWN &#! MAN. YOU SHOULD ACT LIKE ONE.

-rage blood pressure, has stroke, then death-

  10. I am here to whine about the infamous "Puncture" mods.

They really need to have a more specific explanation to what it is that they do, and they should also be a little bit better for the points they take up when adding them to your weapon. It would also help to drop the rarity to Uncommon, given the arguably 'not that useful' effect given.

    So there's my feedback.

Hope you guys @ DE take it under consideration for future updates.

Keep up the awesome work over yonder in Canada aye.

  11. Preferred Braton Vandal Stats:

    24-26 damage

    11.3 fire rate

    35 accuracy

    50 clip size

    15% or 20% crit chance

    125-150% crit damage

then buff braton prime to 26-28dmg and 40 accuracy, because people complain that primes are worse than vandal weapons. but from what i gather its for a reason. older tech but more polarity slots with smoother non dmg related stats.

Edit: In my most honest opinion, Primes should have really amazing accuracy, tiny damage buff with increased crit chance/damage and have an extra polarity slot to be more... say.. PRIMAL. Then vandals on the other hand, should be moderately worse with the underlying stats such as accuracy, clip size, crit chance/dmg but have a much higher damage, to suit their name. SHEER VANDALISM. VANDALISM I SAY!

Edit #2: That would fix the (WHY U MAKE VANDAL/PRIME WEAPS TOO GOOD? YOU RUIN OTHER GUNS) threads/complaints

It would also give a more preferred play style to the use of each normal, prime or vandal weapon.

Tenno #1:"oh i like crits"  Tenno #2:"oh i like str8 dmg" Tenno #3:"oh i like well rounded stats" Tenno #3" We all play differently! how strangely awesome of us! yay usssssss and yay for playstyle suited weapon choicessss!"

  12. I've been holding it since Update 8. I CANT DO ET ANYMORE -pees in frame *flushing sounds*- oh...

and I would really like if you could build personal rooms, I think this has been suggested before. I am a General of The Resisty, but have nothing in the dojo to show for it.

  13. Don't listen to those fools. I thrived off crits from Dual Zorens until update 8. Then for some reason i stopped using them. They most likely changed the numbers on them. They're SUPPOSED to be the best crit weapons in the game (for melee that is)
