  1. I don't really think it's necessary. DE has a lot of knobs to turn now for weapon balance. They can release a prisma/wraith/prime/kuva variant. They can add in an augment. I love incarnon weapons, but I am not sure I want the endstate to be incarnon variants of everything. Alongside alt-fire weapons, DE also hasn't made incarnon snipers (which use alt fire for zoom.)

    It would need some kind of dynamic exchange rate for sure to undermine that.

    Obviously it wouldn't be just any old resource. It would be reserved for the key ones. As for people skipping new content with it? If the exchange wasn't great for the newest stuff, the efficiency minded would probably want to wait for new content's release, not try to horde some old resource (though anyway, that's still playing the game).

  4. Part of what ff14 does right is keeping old content relevant. They have a meta currency that gets you most of the stuff you need and a catch-all currency for anything out of date. All over warframe now are little shops with their own specialized currencies and their own inventories to purchase. However, once you have what that vendor sells, you are truly forever done with that bit of content. What we need is the equivalent of airport currency exchange kiosk.

    At the currency trader you could trade one currency for a lesser amount of another currency. You can do it like real currency exchange where the popularity of transactions affects the exchange rate. That will prevent a meta farm from appearing (people will try) or at least dominating.

    Yeah, the drifter become a skin for the operator was a letdown. Imagine if holding down the transferrence button swapped between the operator and the drifter? Imagine if the drifter had a desk with all their tools that functioned as their helminth? I really don't get why DE is so worried about drifter gameplay becoming a peer alternative to the warframes.

  6. They're great in the circuit, but yeah, in general gameplay incarnon weapons have powercrept them all quite a bit.

    Better stance multipliers would give them a little breath of life in the short term, but who's not to say we'll be back to this. Balance in a live service game is a moving target.

  7. Ngl, the reload buff is my favorite thing about chroma at present.

    Chroma's 1 needs a huge vfx boost. It feels like the mister in the grocery store produce aisle. I would say it should at least as visually impactful and Frost's 2. They can add a cast delay if that seems too visually clutting. Then there's the matter of effect. Of they don't want to make it hit harder, they should let it belt out status procs. That would mean the element swap wluld give you access to some armor strip (heat), cc (electric), different cc (cold), or anti-shields (toxin) situationally and reinforce his whole master of elements theme.

    I agree with you that vex armor is kind of a paint to use. As for effigy? It's really as good at Spectral Scream. If they fix 1, they fix 4. Of course, imagine if the effigy could tank hits and charge vex armor for you?

    Honestly, I really doubt it's in their purview. There are lots of intermediary mistakes leading up to the big one. Besides they already helped me once before with something and said something along the lines of "Glad to help, but this is one time only kind of thing."

  9. So I did the Dual Toxicyst incarnon challenge for headshots and it seemed to reset back to zero after done. So I did it again just the top be sure and one more time after that. It didn't seem to stick, so I just completed the mission. Anyway, now I can't get rid of the notification to evolve it since I guess I queued up 3 of them.

  10. I think what she's meant to do is tarzan to the enemy and then not hard land next to them. Her 1's definitely a victim of parkour. It compares infavorably to Pull. How would I improve it? Maybe invisibility while swinging and a chance of jerking orbs out of enemies hit? The 3 is just bizarre. The only thing that would make me look at her 3 is if Hysteria could stack up overshields on hit or something to try to juice the effect.

  11. They should just be fused anyway. Titania has 5 buffs to maintain (before augments) witht 4 of them being a time intense multi-stage affair. It's all too much and unlike Vauban, Xaku, or Ivara all of her buffs function the same in terms of how they're cast. It's hard to say the 4 effects from tribute are more worthy of all that labor than the 3 or so effects of nourish.

  12. Frost doesn't need a rework, but he could use a few tune-ups. For instance, I wouldn't object to the behavior of his bubble changing a little to avoid inter-team friction. His 1 also feels a little low impact in modern warframe. Hydroid's new 1 is a pretty stark comparison.

  13. The best way I think to implement it with existing tech is like they did with the Archon weapons. Basically, make the heavy blade form stance override the block input of the dual sword stance.

    Focus is fundamentally the core reward for normal gameplay. It's just weird that it becomes obsolete so quickly.
