  1. I misspoke earlier- it’s not like having a pocket healer, it’s more like being the squad healer.

    As a side note, the forma to blank polarity in the aura slot also opens up your frame to more building possibilities...

    More to gain than to lose, amirite?

    Yes Oberon is a good comparison 

    Building with Coaction drift+ Rejuvenation + Vitality is like having a pocket Oberon 

  3. Tired of rolling around to save your squishy frame? With this mod combination you’ll be having hp and sharing it too- Coaction drift + Rejuvenation + Vitality

    It’s super effective it even helps others, simply forma the aura to blank to fit. 

    For tougher missions like arbitrations, add another hp mod (Redirection, Vigor, Gladiator Resolve etc) to suppress more damage, then start rolling as you self heal.

  4. Let’s keep the conversation relevant to the title- the logic of Fortuna, instead of getting sidetracked 

    Someone said something interesting- that the lore really is a solo mode thing just like quests 

    To that I suggest we see only few people in Fortuna, just like in quests. Because the logic will break if we see dozens of Tennos near Fortuna if indeed the lore a solo experience 

  5. The quest hints that Corpus can also tune into radio communications. That means they are watching/listening 

    But how can anyone watching miss the connection between the Tenno and Eudico, when there’s so many Tenno talking to her

  6. A. Corpus can be killed yet we have animal preservation 

    B. Corpus are attacked by groups of Tenno who conspicuously regroup in Fortuna. 

    C. Ticker and Vent kids are relatively hidden but Eudico is out in the open handling Tennos. Any Corpus investigator can trace the Tenno back to Eudico as they amass to her  

     

  7. Go to recruiting chat, ask to be invited to a clan

    Once a member, craft e dojo key from market 

    You will then gain access to dojo which has Tenno, Grineer, Corpus, Infested, Orokin labs 

    Banshee will be in the Tenno lab

    Derelict keys in Orokin lab 

    The rest are weapons and gear items get the energy restore medium it will help a lot 

  8. those solutions work on account that I outlast people in arbitrations as Ember- a known squishy!

    try and build with those tips before you complain that they won’t work 

    I mained Ember in both ps and pc so I’m not making things up 

  9. I made the jump from ps to pc

    Also felt the grind being too much but a 3 day affinity booster really eased the progression 

    Enter “freesword” for a heatsword with potato its cc ground slam is helpful in low levels and it’s so responsive 

    Didn’t feel the need to refarm absolutely everything as I mained a frame before.

    If you do not use an item often back then, why the need to acquire it again? 

  10. Here are Ember tips I picked up along the way 

    Artax on sentinel and then bullet jump to its beamed target. This solves the short ranged WOF. 

    Rejuvenation aura + Coaction drift. With Vitality + Gladiator health mod, I was able to outlast people in arbitration. This makes Ember both non squishy and self healing. Just forma the aura to blank. 

    Fleeting Expertise + Streamline for efficiency, Constitution + Augur Message for duration. Her 4 needs both and so this 4 mod setup minimizes channeling drain. 

    The rest of the mods is up to you- stack the strength, range or add a bullet jump mod to help pounce at Artax beam’s targets. Growing power aura is also benefited by Artax’s proc. 

    The turning on/off of her 4 you will learn with practice as you sense the need according to the situation. 

    2 into either 1,3 or snipe are my play styleS. YTer distant observer has cool vids for ember’s highest damage. he has the 2324 sequence which I adapt to other play styles 

  11. Some discredit the pull to melee description in game. But I find it true and useful.

    Mag can even start swinging right after pull to hit. And then do a melee slam on the grounded. 

    Crush is more controlled for nearby foes, it sets up a ground finisher easily 

    A negative strength pull with overextended + power donation can act like crush

    I forma her for “blank” aura to get the rejuvenation + coaction drift in. This combo is so good with vitality, that I also suggest it for other squishy types

    Transient Fortitude and Fleeting Expertise let you spam all your skills, and especially your bubbles with decent damage scaling and quick burst in decent AoE. Aura either Growing Power (if you're lazy to forma) or Corrosive Projection. Still prefer Vitality over Redirection so you don't die from a slash or toxin proc.

    Stacked range is so good for Mag that I called it a basic. Even with no strength, she can stack healthy overshields with a high range crush 

    Fleeting Expertise + Streamline- once a Mag gets this they’ll unlock the caster play style  

  13. So Mag P is unvaulted, here is a quick guide for those rebuilding her: 

    1. Blind Rage + all strength mods + Greedy Pull=  pull spam to generate/grab orbs

    2. Stretch + Augur reach= basic build to generate overshields

    3. Streamline + Fleeting Exp= caster build

    4. Mobilize or Elemental bullet mods= vacuum passive build 

    5. Counter pulse + duration mods = cc build

    6. Power donation + Overextended = “reckoning” with pull build (this is pretty fun) 

    7. Range mods + greedy pull = reactant or orb pulling build 

    8. Dead Eye + Sharpshooter = snipe at upper edge of bubble to gain back energy

    9. Augment + augment= people like diff augments but I prefer 1 with 3 

    10. Redirection + Vitality/ Rejuvenation + Coaction drift = anti-squishy build 

    Notes:

    Combining 2/5 with 3+4 can be good for spy support to cc guards 

    Mag is also good for melee 

    Pull and crush can setup ground attacks (aim down on target + melee) or (jump + slam attack).
