Simple design changes that avoid triggering toxic behaviors.

    • Allow co-op players in Spy to hack panels outside of data vault to stop failure timer.  This enforce helpful attitude, allow noobs to actually learn vaults safely, and prevent feel-bad failure.
    • Rescue target should follow the person closest to Extraction very closely.  Having them follow the slower (more likely new) player is just backstabbing the noobs to fail and get flamed.

And the spy one will make the mission easy af. Failing a mission sucks but if you make it really easy, then the game will get boring fast.

  2. Do you have any other frame? IDK about Excal and I don't think it's a good idea to invest any more forma on him hehe. I used Gara to get me through that, she can be tanky but some enemies can still one-hit me, so a frame like Excal that have 0 skill for defense and isn't tanky stat-wise will probably struggle on that part of the void 😕

I don't understand how is this a good thing at all ? Bite size at its finest.

Because not everyone has the time to play for hours doing only one type of mission?
I hate people who leave Hydron at wave 5 but I just try to understand that they probably have other things to do aside grinding for affinity.
DE should really start to implement solo extract on regular missions and hopefully they also fix the host migration crap with it because I can see a lot of people losing rewards because of failed migration.

  4. Hek is a pretty good low MR weapon. That shotgun helped me clear out the star chart although I later switched to ignis wraith when I reached MR 9 but I believe hek can still do decent damage if I throw in a couple of formas to it. The mods for it to be strong enough for later planets aren't that expensive and rare. You can use vigilante armaments if you don't have hell's chamber or if you're lacking capacity.
Here's a video I followed for my build, I didn't copy it as is but I took some of his advice for my build:

  5. If the issue is "it ruins the warframe theme" then maybe make it so as it will only work during valentines/February but let us keep it as a perma cosmetic item >,<
Or adjust the price to 1 credit since it's consumable 😒

  6. They drop from different locations, different missions (there's also a rotation for the drop),  some drop from certain enemies. You gotta search for them.
Here's a very helpful site for that https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/WARFRAME_Wiki
Just search for the mod you want and it will show where to get it and sometimes there's a tip on how to farm it efficiently.
Use it as your general knowledge base for all things warframe. Everything is in there.

  7. But a 2d pic won't do a great representation of the 3d item. I mean, if you really just want a 2d pic, take a screeny of the costume (you can preview it on your arsenal) then use a photo editor to change the colors.
But then again, it defeats the whole purpose because it will not look the same in-game. 2d =/= 3d and the game will add some other stuff to the texture and glow and whatevercomplicated3dstuff on the item.

  8. That's probably not an easy thing to do (I mean, if outside the game), and not sure if DE will give us a "previewer" where we can tryout a cosmetic item and customize the colors, although you can do something similar within the game.
Another thing you can do for now is to research. Try youtube, sometimes people upload their fashion frame, pretty much works like a "previewer" because they show it like it's a runway or some sort lol. If youtube didn't turn out anything, then try here in the forums and ask if anyone is kind enough to give you screenshots of what the item looks like, maybe some will be kind enough to give screenshot with customized color combination, basically just giving you a preview of what you wanna see. XD

  9. You obviously haven't been to a real pay-to-win game. Trust me, I've played a game were you literally cannot progress anymore unless you whip out some real cash. Warframe is actually very generous for a free-to-play game.
The primes you are talking about can be farmed or bought from other players, so idk why you have to hate it so bad? Again, in real pay-to-win games, prime equivalent of items are exclusive to paying players; if you ain't paying, you ain't getting it.
Though you did say it's a personal thing, yes, it is a personal problem you have and it's NOT the game's fault that you feel that way. I played solo most of the chart and never had trouble finishing any node. It may probably sound rude but this is where the quote "git gud" applies.

Now, instead of just complaining because the game doesn't bend to your idea of gaming (which I assume is just handing out everything to players easily), why not try learning how to play the mission types properly? I mean, why would anyone use Inaros on a high level defense solo? That's so masochistic.
Learn how to get platinum without spending real monnies. Learn where to get the relics that drops the prime parts you want. Learn to trade with players and what sells best.
Don't hate on other people because you choose to be ignorant of how the game works. You said you've played for six years? Yet you seem to know nothing about how the game is supposed to be played. I only started warframe around late October (or was that November?) last year but I seem to have better progression than you.

So yeah, the only problem here is you and how you view a game.

  10. If you want to save up resources, just use Excalibur for star chart, since he already have a reactor installed, which means he can deal with most of the star chart content no problem.

And as stated above, do your main quest too and not just focus on MR grind and star chart completion. Some quests reward you with weapons that can help you progress through the star chart easily.

Frames that are below rank 30 are weak because they don't have enough mod capacity to deal with higher level enemies. Try to get them to 30 but again, if you're gonna use a frame with only 30 capacity, it's still gonna be weak on higher level planets. If you just wanna have fun with new frames because of the different experience they offer, play them when you're trying to farm resources on lower level missions. But if you're gonna do a higher level mission, use your Excalibur or put a reactor on some frames that you really like (oh and if it has a prime version, maybe try to get that and install the reactor on the prime), so you have more options when playing higher level missions.

  11. People suggesting to just leave if there's a leecher 🙄

Y'all know how this game tend to allow late join? Sometimes one member gets disconnected when bounty is at 2/5 or 3/5, and then the game will add some other player. OFTEN TIMES that late joiner is the leecher. So, if we notice that this late joiner hasn't been moving since he joined and it's been minutes now and he's still at the gates or he's moving but seems to be just going around a particular area (probably mining) and not joining us on the bounty...we should just leave the bounty that we already completed half way because some uncultured tenno decided it's cool to cue up on a public bounty to do some fishing and mining?

    HOW IS THIS OKAY?

People do public bounty to do public bounties, duh. If you're gonna fish/mine/skate with your k-drive, you set your matchmaking to solo.

Fishing and mining should be disabled when there is an active bounty. K-drives shouldn't gain a standing when there is an active bounty. Players should be automatically moved to the waypoint after a certain amount of time. There are lots of things than can be done to discourage leeching.

Heck, I think if DE just allow us to block someone so that we'll never be in the same squad ever again, that'll be great.

  12. Or you could've just pasted a link to the wiki 😄

Just taking all the info from the wiki and putting it on your thread is redundancy at best. Unless you add something that isn't found on the wiki or anywhere else.
How about instead of just listing the ingredients (direct copy+paste from the wiki anyway), you add where to find and farm these resources efficiently, that way you give something more than just copy pasting stuff. That would be really more helpful, I think.

  13. You're funny if you think sprinting will save you from heavy gunfire. 😆

But srsly, learn the parkour system. Try remapping the buttons if you find it difficult pressing the default key settings.
The frames you gave as examples are frames that are supposed to be heavy, so giving them a lower base sprint speed makes their form and build more believable, while smaller and slimmer frames have higher base speed. Also, sprint mods are optional and they're not really used for survivability. If you need survivability you use vitality or you take a healer with you.

So that's the cause.. ugh, it's so annoying!

For example, in PoE. If I went against a wall or a big rock I'd fall. Now, if there's even the SLIGHTEST bump on the floor I'll fall down. No chance whatsoever to avoid falling <.<

And can we reduce the amount of ragdolling when we fall? Can't it just let us fall off the k-drive and not shoot us out for miles 😣
A few tumble and roll is okay

I would suggest removing the practice test aswell until you have attempted the test atleast once first, basically you go in blind with no preparations (obviously most people would probably look them up on youtube anyway but still.

Then more people with b!#$% about it lol.
I like the MR tests too, some are challenging and others are just plain annoying but I still like it. It's called "Mastery Rank Test" for a reason. Currently, a high MR doesn't mean anything to the game except for additional loadout slots, void traces, access to more weapons, etc. You can even reach MR20+ just by grinding one mission node over and over. With these 'tests" at least players are forced to learn something aside from hack and slash (or mashing 1 button 'till everything is dead). And while it doesn't really test the skills (coz you can cheese some of it) it test the player's knowledge of game mechanics (rather, teach players). I mean c'mon, if someone is gonna be a MR 26, I wanna think that they are reeeally friggin good with their maneuvers, their aim, they have cool game tactics and not just depend on one ability to win a mission, but that's not how it is as of now and MR test is the closest thing we have to that (actually, not even close but that's all we have and that's better than nothing haha).

  16. ^ what he said.
I think you just use your Excal to clean off your star chart. 60/60 capacity is good enough to clear it, no need for primed mods yet as the basic ones will do just fine. After you clear your star chart, do your main quests because one of the main quests rewards a fully maxed, potatoed Excalibur with better stats, so investing on the starter Excal is a bit of...a waste, unless you like to have 2 versions of Excalibur hahaha

  17. Because if you're gonna create a thread of complaints and call it "constructive" people will expect it to be constructive. There's nothing constructive on his original post, just a bunch of complaints. Again, nobody said he's wrong or those problems doesn't exist. Just that...if you don't know what a constructive criticism is, then don't call your complaint (that also have an aggressive tone in it) a "constructive criticism" because it isn't...and that's just what most of the comments here are trying to point out.
