  1. Most likely due to lag. I notice this usually happening when I have 300+ ping to the host, and when you check the Mass Vitrify icon, it shows "=" sign instead of how many wall segments are up. Idk if they can fix it (coz it's network connection related) but what I do when this happens is I wait a bit before I stop casting MV until I see the segments on the ability icon. Pretty annoying actually.

    Have you turned off bloom?

I have turned off bloom, even tried setting everything to low but the staticor is still hurting my eyes. I know the weapon itself has crazy sfx but I was able to use it before without any issues. After the recent updates tho, it's just painful to use the staticor, my eyes have to keep adjusting whenever I fire that damn weapon @_@

  3. To add on Gara's splinter storm, it would really be great if there's an indicator when the buff is about to run out, like the icon on the lower right will pulsate with a strong glow or blink rapidly. It's easy to lose track of the duration esp. when there's a lot going on the screen.

  4. In the Jovian Concord update, they changed Nova's antimatter drop orb to become more visible.

Improved the visibility of Nova’s Antimatter Drop to fix the ball being invisible until you shoot it.

However, this messed up the appearance of the orb when fully charged as it no longer changes color, on Nova Prime at least (I've sold my base Nova so I don't know if this happens to it too).
On Nova Prime, her orbs have a golden color (regardless of chosen energy color), and only changes to the energy color when fully charged. After the update, the orb stays golden even when fully charged, thus making it hard to tell if an orb has been fully charged or not.
Either the fix on visibility is causing it or it has anything to do with the changes on energy colors.

Also, as I was searching if anyone have made a report about this, I found a rather old thread about Nova Prime's orbs:

It's interesting how polished the old orbs used to look like compared to the one we have now. Is there any possibility of bringing those smooth and shiny looking orbs back to Nova Prime? Coz currently, her orbs looks like a low res 3d gradient ball 😕

  5. Because you apply a 75% slow on the whole map. Enemies are literally crawling and if you're playing on low level missions where anything just die with whatever stuff you have, then the slow is unnecessary.
Consider making different builds and switch between them based on the level/mission type.

A fast Nova is what you want on low level defense, everyone will just love you there. This is achievable by having a negative power strength with the use of a maxed Overextended mod.
You can have another build with 30% slow, if you want to slow but not too slow. This is the default with her 100% power strength, simply don't add anymore power strength mod.
Another option is to build a neutral Nova. You still apply the damage multiplier but without any slowing effect. This is good for survival coz you don't really want enemies to overwhelm you nor take ages to get to your location. A rank 2 Overextended makes this build possible.

Or they don't have the team stats HUD active. They might not know and assume you have 10 since they have.

This is why I tell people if I see someone is still lacking reactants. But even if I tell them that someone still lacks reactant, they just rush to the extraction point, often that's 2 players so the timer start ticking while I help the other guy look for enemies. Exterminate missions can get fudgy coz enemies kinda stops spawning after a certain time, defense can also be problem because there are no more enemies when the wave ends, same with interception (this happened recently, someone was nuking too fast that all 4 of us had 9/10 when the mission ended).

  7. About the abilities, it sounds like you're experiencing a lag. Maybe if you can provide more info or clarify things?
Rhino's Iron Skin...what do you mean permanent? It's not duration based so it will stay on until it depletes. Read more info about the ability here
Nightwave Season 1 has ended and we're waiting for Season 2 but for the meantime, they removed Nightwave shop from the game.

  8. Or it should be based on how many missions you've completed. More experience gained from harder contents such as Eidolons, Profit-Taker, Sorties, ESO, Arbitration (they can implement MR restriction [or other restriction like requiring an amp...as in you've completed the process of talking to Quill Onkko, before having access to Eidolon bounty] to prevent leechers going unprepared just for that sweet, sweet exp gain). Soloing should give a slight increase in exp since that means you're pretty good on your own ("mastery" is the keyword). Ranking up on syndicates should also provide a moderate amount of exp, and then a large chunk of exp upon attaining max rank.
Leveling items and using forma on it can still provide exp, because it still a form of progression, but it should be lesser than doing missions, see it as additional exp rather than the only way of attaining exp (which is the current system we have now).

Its around 10 Seconds with Zenurik....

I don't get the reasoning behind halving the duration. As soon as it wears off I'l just do it again... Whats the point ? It barely qualifies as a nerf...

Gotta make it "harder" somehow lol. DE is constantly being pulled apart by players for wanting something hard but also easy at the same time.
Sometimes I feel sorry for the devs, really.

You can slow them down with Nova or Zenurik.... I doubt you can freeze them completely.... uhm.... you can try it with Limbo or CC Rhino just to see if it works.

Doubt it can be CC'd to the point of completely disabling it. The duration of Nova's slow if even halved. I never tried zenurik coz if Nova's slow duration is shortened, what more zenurik's effect?

  11. @LoadedAK47 I understand the system and why they have to do it. Not because a game is PVE they should just hand everything out to players. The expiring points is not a bad system (again this is to prevent people from overstocking.  Remember that the shop offers catalyst and reactors. If they allow people to stock hundred of points then there will be no reason to buy those with plat. Aaand ofc they want people to spend plat) but how DE is handling it at the moment is bad. At least with those games I've played, you can obtain the resources/items somewhere else and not with a horrible drop chance of 0.1%, that is why it works in those games. The problem here is players are being forced to be dependent on Nightwave if they want Nitain, auras and some other stuff that's pretty hard to farm elsewhere. I can see your predicament but you also have to understand that games need to keep their players playing. What I'm trying to say here is, DE's implementation of expiring points is not well thought out.

Now about "having all the plat you want" welp it's becasue that is plat. Plat is something people buy with real money and Nightwave Cred is obtained for free (no money involved). What will they earn if they allow players to stock tons of Creds? You can keep all those plats because eventually you will use it either for trading (putting it in circulation) or use it in their market (sink).

  12. @LoadedAK47 Then let this be a lesson learned. Someone here already explained the reason for expiring Wolf Creds and it's true. Other games I've played have similar system, it's just really to prevent people for stocking hundreds of points and to give more reason to play again (season ends, you need new item from the shop so you play again to earn the points), simple as that.

Do I like how they handled it tho? No. I understand it must be hard for new players to get the standing and Creds. Season 1 is pretty much a test run, let's just hope they improve things for season 2, esp. with how the rewards are given, Wolf Creds should have been given early on, and this period of nothingness while preparing for season 2.

  13. Ever since Nightwave started people had been asking about when it would end. At first they gave an unclear answer (something about the season will last for10 weeks) but that's not a pretty good answer. So people kept asking for a date. Then they gave a date (they said earliest would be May 15), then they extended it to May 19.

While I agree that it's bad how the shop is completely gone while we're waiting for season 2, since this will hurt progression of new players, I think complaining about being uninformed about the end date is...the player's fault. Ignorance isn't an excuse. It's been posted in the news section, and if you play a game that you really bother progressing with, then you at least take the time to read the news coz dog knows if the servers are closing tomorrow or what. Not the game's fault that you're not paying attention to those details.

Whenever there's an update, do you not read the patch notes? Like, don't you wanna know what's in this new update? You see a new system like Nightwave, don't you wanna know more info about this new system they implemented? Coz you'd know about the Wolf Cred expiration if you read the update notes.
