  1. I'd also vote for making scythes actually useful by changing the stances and the way the weapons are held.

More on topic: It would be nice if the already scythes would be refunded at least, it's a kick into a players face. Spent forma, alloys and maybe even a bought riven all for nothing? Not the way to go.

TBH, the whole idea of Infested having you on constant GPS tracking is just weak. They ALWAYS know where to run - and interrupt what you are doing. Grineer have their AI much better programmed considering plains. This is just another show of "pushed" content, that is all.

Wish my kavat would harass enemies that well instead of jumping around and getting stuck in walls like a pro.

You can use abilities. You just have to manually press [next] or [previous] instead of just 1,2,3 ect and a button that you set for [use selected power].

You could also probably use frames like Ember or Equinox. Or Loki/Octavia.

I don't understand why they make it so complicated, then, because I never use those keys and don't have them assigned because of how pointless they are on PC.

I don't think its impossible but event ends in a few days anyway, don't worry..

I'd rather already be able to fish in peace right now. It's an issue, it needs a fix. Imagine a new player trying to get his first couple of norgs and ends up wasting half of his baits because he has to leave the spot and go looking for the infested spawn pod. Not the best impression one could get of warframe.

  3. This has become one pain in my neck since the event started. There's infested pods everywhere, spawning incessantly. I can't fish 2 minutes without some infested trying to take a bite from my butt.

Can we reduce enemy aggro range when a bait is out? Or let wrframes use at least abilities when we have a fishing spear out? I didn't notice the nullifier field on my spear. It's very, very, very, very annoying.

As if this was not enough, the infested magically know where you are even if you're 50 meters away behind a hill.

Right now it's simply not possible to fish in peace, please make it less of a slog.

Due to the current hitbox/model disparity, that would be a very, very bad idea.

The hitboxes of enemeis are fine, it's the melee weapons animations/hitzone creation that is totally off. As the scythe stances have been created very early, refinenemts would need to be done. Also mind I never said that scythes should deal reduced damage on normal hits, just increased damage on blade-hits, meaning the worst you can get is full damage.

  5. I feel like scythe should be way longer and feature a special mechanic to deal extra damage if the enemy is hit with the blade part, making them more dangerous on the last third of the weapon would make them more rewarding for players who can estimate the right distance. They rather feel like long kamas at the moment and make no use of their length.

Plus what OP said, scythes stances are all some spectacular jumping around that does not look like an actual combat technique or is anything close to useful. They should have large sweeps and slashes, not some throwing around and spinning. Sometimes it's better when something is less spectacular and more effective instead.

    1. The suit is nothing more then a sculpture of Infested tissue, blood, bone, and metal, an android that has no mind or guidance. The Operator mentally connects to the suit through the Void and becomes it's guideing mind. When an Operator "leaves" the suit currently, they aren't actually shedding the suit. Instead they are using the Warframe as an end conduit for a Void rift that lets them enter the field. You can see the Operator making that transition during the Operator "death" sequences.

    2. The Valkyr Operator was still entombed in Luna at the time that Alad was shoving his probes into the suit. They did not know they COULD transfer. Instead, they had to sit in their new coffin, silently screaming to no one in particular as a loon slowly peeled the flesh off the suit's hide and felt every agonizeing moment of it. At least now that we know, we can retrieve her corpse eventually.

A wonderful interpretation, also the most likely thing to be close how DE thought it would be.

Warframes are bio-mechanical surrogates controlled through the Tenno that act as a conduit and maybe catalyst for the Void power of the Operators, that's also why they have to collect energy to cast abilities while the operator does not have to do that, because the operator is not inside of them. They are like different machines, imagine the Tenno as the power generator and user. The void power can be transformed into different physical forms through every Warframe.

As it seems the Warframe's mind is something close to a human brain, but empty withotu somatic link, as the body has to be human to actually not overload the human operator brain, that's why we don't have eight-legged spiderframes or frames with 6 arms, they all are humanoid. I guess the "gender" of the frame is nothing more than a cosmetic detail. Only because saryn has female features it doen't mean that "she" is a woman. So technically all Warframes are an "it".

I think it doesn't even scale with mods, so probably not. I really hope that's a bug... because if it's not it was literally designed to be useless, and it doesn't sound right. It would be in line with the other Zaw's Arcane though, and their weak attempt at making peoples play channeling...

Oh wow, that's really pathetic, no idea why DE would let us grind for days if any other weapon with even a mediocre riven is better.

  8. For quick cetus wisp collection: Free roam, thiefs wit, loot detector, itzal (3 can suck in wisps). This with a team is 120 meters loot radar, fly by every loot close to water, you'll have more than enough.

Just go in/out to make them respawn, they seem to be more frequent at night. I have 160 wisps and already 6 full amps crafted, just getting the wisps while doing bounties and taking a detour over the most notorious spawn-points will net you loads of them. I run with a booster, but it's not necessary to be honest. Never had to do a dedicated wisp run.

On a side note, making them bounty loot is ridiculous looking at how easy they are to get.

Giving orders to pets would be great. But I'm not sure if they could fit another set of controls into the limitations of a console gamepad. Yes, any new feature has to work for consoles as well and there isn't enough buttons on that thing (perhaps some combinations would work but that's a complicated topic that I never properly thought about, so I can't say for sure).

Apart from that I'd actually love to be able to control companions' abilities and behaviour - sentinels included.

Passive mode could be easily enabled in the arsenal with an on/off slider. I don't even want to give specific orders to my pet as warframe AI would probably get stuck in the worst way possible.

  10. I recently put aside my trusty Helios Prime in favor of trying to get some forma on my Kavat. After hunting down Eidolons, busting Kuva guardians and completing multiple raids and sorties I came to the conclusion that I really like my kitty (Her name's Paloma) and I would like to spend some more time with her. One incredibly disrupting thing about her is that she's quite wild and thus ALWAYS attacks enemies, no matter if I have attack mods installed or not, though.

She also likes to run into my line of sight when I try to go to the plains and mine some minerals, and actually always is there where I don't like her to be at the moment. She also loves to heroically jump into the gunfire of a level 100 corpus tech once in a while, resulting in her beautiful fur getting scorched by EM-field contained plasma charges.

This is the one thing I really miss about my sentinel, not the loot vacuum, but the fact that it simply is there by my side not doing anything if I don't have a gun installed, simply being useful but discrete. I wish my kavat could be like Helios: Simply at my side without attacking, doing her luck-thingy and utility stuff.

So I ask you, dear devs, can we get an optional passive/peaceful companion mode for animal companions that simply lets them use utility skills and not stray from our side? My Kavat would be pleased, and would die less often. A lot less often.

First of all, I would like to congratulate DE for all it has done for us and all the free stuff it's given us over the years (this game most of all)... However, I am/was a bit suprised that such a community/player oriented company, never thought to give something to their players on their anniversary (actual birthday or the day that they first started playing). Honestly, when that day came I was expecting a inbox message:
"Hello fellow Tenno, thank you for being with us for a(nother) sun cicle. We apreciate you sticking with us and your contribute to the game and to our community. Here is a little something for your continued support and to help you keep protecting the solar system." And maybe get some boosters or some slots.
I know we already have events for Waframe Anniversary Launch on PC and on consoles, and I really don't want to sound beggy or needy or ingrateful, or any bad word you can call me for asking for "more free stuff", but I just think it would be a nice gesture to give some kind of gift/appreciation to players on their (Warframe) anniversary.

We get enough special treatment as is. Also the free guns on Warframe's anniversary are really enough, other devs don't do that much for their community.

Don't forget the devstream alerts, that they normally don't wipe items gained through an error by themselves or some exploits, and the fact that they throw around themselves with giveaways all week. DE kinda always find a reason to party.

  12. I think this should include removing useless loot tht can be rapidly acquired otherwise. 2 cetus wisps take around 30 seconds to 2 minutes to acquire, void traces are so easily farmable in the fissures etc. Another way would be to make them actually scale with a resource booster. I've got 160 wisps now without searchign for them, just picking them up along the way. I have already crafted 6 amps, all zaws and 2 higher tier zaws for actual use, while I'm still short of eidolon breath.

  13. I made myself a zaw just to see if it's worth something, really disappointed to hear it's junk from everyone, especially the 20 eidolon gas are waaaay over the top as crafting cost. Does it scale with melee multiplier or crit at least?

  14. When PETA writes you a letter because Teralyst Eidolons are close to extinction because of you. When you try to play those kuva floods with a level 0 frame and succeed. When you have all the cosmetics you like to have. When you raid and don't have to speak a word because you know what to do and your mates do too. When you don't bother marking those rare mods anymore. When you stop looking into the "owned resources" of your foundry and simply click craft.

Like Nidus? Have to cast MP x30 to get the effect.

Nidus has to hit 500 times with his 1 to get decent damage up (40-80k), which is pretty much impossible in a normal mission, on gara you pop 2 plates and cast 2 4-1-4-1 and have more damage and mobile(!) damage reduction than nidus gets in a whole mission.
