I prefer quality over quantity.I really enjoy that you release content so frequently but I think you should focus on what we currently have.So many new systems and features have been left behind and they have yet to get some kind of change to them. Please slow down with the content and focus on what we currently have.

Some things that were left behind:Extractors, relays, clans, cometics and arcane mixing together which is just annoying i wanna have variety with my appearance, when you're in the water with an archwing, focus, raids, sorties, invasions, the relays,i mean i dont even really use the dojo, just for getting blueprints, otherwise it's useless,Alliances, etc. You get the the jest of it.

Extractors give you resources. I think there's just not much to change about them.

Relays? What's wrong with them? I guess the server hosting could be a bit better but it's leagues better than what we had before. DE has improved on it alot.

Clans: Groups of people that contribute to blueprints. I don't see the issue.

Cosmetics: I mean, what's the problem? Are they ugly to you or something?

Arcane mixing: I stopped using arcanes so I can't really comment on anything.

  2. Damn, there's alot of stuff I miss about warframe.

The old, endearing, not-annoying AND not-roboty Lotus voice.

That feeling that you never know what's gonna happen next because you're completely new to the game.

    That cryptic mysterious vibe.

    Lotus' old voice (again)

Parts of me miss the old HUD only because of nostalgia but honestly the new hud is 300% better.

That time when there really wasn't a weapon meta and it was just "use what made you feel badass". Now all you see are Boltsoma Primes and stuff (although admittedly this is getting less obnoxious with the gradual inclusion of better weapons.)

The time BEFORE power creeps infested warframe.

There's tons of stuff I miss about warframe.

edit: OMG I MISS THAT THING WHERE YOU COULD PARKOUR OFF A WALL AND SEND YOURSELF FLYING FOR LIGHT YEARS

    double edit:

    (not my video)

  3. I just wish that snipers had more viability. Warframe is a horde game, and picking off little grunts one by one doesn't really contribute anything to yourself, your team, or the mission.

  4. I used to play Nyx 24/7. She was my 3rd ever frame and basically if mastery ranks weren't a thing I wouldn't have ever made any other frame. But then she got out outclassed. So yeah, I'd definitely love to see a Nyx CC revamp or whatever.

Armor reduction sounds like a very good idea, but as stated before it would make her a staple in long/high missions. However, it's a very good and viable idea. Maybe there should be a mechanic to it, like 20% armor loss + 5% per every enemy in Chaos? Or every enemy in Chaos does finisher damage to other affected enemies? Or maybe every enemy reduces another affected enemy's armor by X% per shot.

Idunno, I'm just throwing ideas out there. I don't think giving Chaos a flat armor reduction/removal is right. It'd make her kinda boring and would put her in the P42W category (even though technically Chaos is her third ability but shutup, k? jk ;P)

    But yeah, my thoughts.

    TL;DR chaos shouldn't be a flat/instant armor reduction

  5. There's definitely some weirdness about them. I can personally confirm that damage type doesn't matter. I've taken weapons with different types (Corro, Heat, Blast // Heat, Ice, Tox // Corr+Ice, Viral+Heat, Blast+Tox), and everytime they did their adaptation the weapons I switched to kept doing double-digit damage.

So then I had a thought: Maybe for some weird reason, they adapt between elemental and physical damage?

But that was just me being dumb. Took a full phys strun wraith (+phys and dmg mods) and then took a Tysis, followed by a S.Gammacor.

    Double digits after the flash.

So then I went ahead and tried projectile vs melee. Double digits.

Either their armor is magic and they just don't care about corrosion (which is very plausible), or maybe I'm just missing something. Or maybe the ones I fought were bugged (I fought these very soon after u18's initial drop, so idk).

  6. Your "similarities" are vague, controversial, and in reality don't contribute much to your post.

But to answer your question; Hydroid for defense/farming. Atlas for offense/camping. Because they both do different things and are very different in gameplay.

  7. I'm sorry, but I have to ask:

    >Secondly I want to talk about the new Peacemaker's focusing. In the new Peacemaker you have to continuously recast the ability if you want to refresh the field of view. Sure it's less P42W but it's still a stationary ability that is not less of a room clearing tool, but still support a turret play style. Just put Mesa in banishment with Limbo and there ya' go - free infinite turret.

Is it really worth it to refresh the FOV? Do people actually waste time doing it?

I mean, the focus ring is relatively very large even when it's fully tightened. You could really just wave your mouse around in arcs and kill anything.

    Atleast, that's what I do.

Anyways, I don't really like this idea. Maybe because of my inherent human-based dislike of change, or more likely because I think peacemaker right now is fine. If anything I feel like it needs primary mod scaling (or does it do that already? havent even looked at mesa for ages).

IMO Mesa isn't really supposed to BE a room clear in the first place; I really like the idea of being able to focus your damage into a single area with the ring. If I wanted to room clear, I'd probably just run Ember or even Saryn.

If your only issue is the fact that you need to hold down LMB (which is the only issue I see you talking about), I'd like to welcome you to warframe. :_

  8. It's a part of Exalted Blade.

Being a part of the stance, it requires no energy as you're already expending it by using Exalted Blade in the first place.

    EDIT from the wiki:

    • Judged Severance will make Excalibur perform a Radial Blind after the slide attack. This Radial Blind has less range and duration than the standard ability, and lacks the ability to open blinded enemies to finisher attacks, but otherwise has the same effect on enemies

Judged Severance is the name of the slide-attack used during exalted blade.

  9. I don't see the point of making 3 new recruiting tabs. You're not removing Draco, you're not nerfing it, so why would people just stop playing it? Doesn't make sense to me.

However, I will oblige to your overall topic:

I personally don't play Draco. I think it's..unethical. I guess. Playing Draco gives me the same feeling I get when I accidentally miss my X key with 2 seconds to spare and let a downed teammate die. However, that doesn't mean I don't rely on XP hoarding to level my stuff up. The problem isn't in the players, it's because of the game.

Find a weapon that looks fun (not many of those in warframe, sadly).

    Hoard the resources.

Get RNG bombed for a straight 2 days because a stupid argon crystal won't drop, or a DAMN PHERLIAC POD BP WON'T DROP AFTER OVER 100 JUGGERNAUT KILLS, OR-

    *ahem*

Anyways, get mad at RNG, blame the game, quit, rest for a week, repeat until you don't get rng'd.

That's basically how it goes for many people. AND THEN, AFTER YOU GO THROUGH THE 9 CIRCLES OF RNG HELL, you STILL need to level the damn thing. So, you go through mission. After mission. After mission. And after 10 runs, you see you haven't scraped up enough XP to get past level 15. In your mind, you think "This effort:reward ratio is stupid. I'm going to navigate around this. Let's see what my human mind can cook up". And then, Draco comes into the picture. You can imagine the rest.

It's not about the players. It's about the process.

And even then, there's still things to consider such as "This process is essential to further development; this is how DE gets their cash".

And that's completely true. And that's the only reason I'm nonchalant about the entire thing. If I have to choose between busting my &#! or tossing a few bucks to DE to expedite the process, so be it. It's a business model that's been proven worthy and successful over the years. It keeps the flow of developments steady and stable.

TL;DR "If people want to be smart, efficient, and quick, then let them be."

  10. Alot of the mileage that you get out of a warframe/weapon (especially at larger levels, I'm talking at right about 50-60ish and above) is gonna be from specialization. Your Excalibur build right now looks like it's a jack of all trades.

AND DON'T GET ME WRONG; the "jack of all trades" approach is great. You'll live a long time, and you'll be outputting decent damage at a decent rate for a decent duration. But the second part of the quote- "a jack of all trades, a master of none" applies here.

Excalibur is the "main-frame" per se of warframe; he's the posterboy, he's the "go-to" guy. He's extremely well-balanced and suited for many different types of things; he's arguably one of the easiest warframes to play. It's reasons like this he's in the first 3 frame picks. He's well balanced.

However, not only is he balanced, but he can easily be specialized. You wanna be a blind-everything-anything-forever type of guy? Build duration and range. Boom, you're a living flashbang.

Feel like doing damage? Sacrifice some of that duration (and efficiency, I think?) and become a terrifying energy-ninja-swordsman-whatever type of guy. Basically Samurai Jack with energy. ;) #bestshowever

The beauty of Warframe's progression is that there's more than one thing to do. You can mod whoever you want with whatever you want and still arguably be effective in one way or another.

  11. my main go-to secondary for most weapons is the vaykelok (vayk marelok)

usually because i don't run any frames that have enough space for any type of survivability/hp regen, and i don't have a life strike on me; so as a result i rely on syndicates for hp regen (i dont like using hp/energy/any gear of any type, idk, just a me thing)

aside from the 25% hp restore, it gives you a slight armor buff (10% or something?) and a blast proc, which opens enemies up to finishers ltic

also the gun itself is great, fast fire rate with a nice crit chance and enough damage to be viable far, far into lategame

other than that, some other nice options are:

furis (fire rate+proc builds are always nice with this thing, augment gives it hp leech)

any of the secondary shotguns (i personally prefer the kohmak, but the detron and brakk are still awesome imo; the bronco/prime isn't really that good imo but perhaps i was using it wrong)

any of the throwing daggers (hikprime for me, high fire rate + nice proc and damage)

gammacor (high ammo economy, nice proc/sec, decent damage when modded)

finally, the acrid is always a nice pick
