  1. I feel the same way, I'd much rather earn something that just be given/obtain it somehow but at this point I'm pretty much at wit's end with this game's RNG. At this point all the void runs I do just give me more copies of the same junk I can't do anything with because I don't have the rest of what's required to build them. :\

  2. It's cosmetic armor. Many, many other games utilize the concept. I'm not really sure why anyone is actually surprised at the lack of stats after the still-warm debacle over the removal of helm stats -- DE doesn't want stats associated with visual customization, plain as that (though they have no qualm grandfathering in existing ones, cough).

Seriously though, can you tweak those Daedalus leg armors? they would look so much better with a less bulky design.

  3. How is it possible to ever consider a single second that this is a nerf ?

It's a bug. Nerfs will always be mentioned in patchnotes first, and that behaviour can't be something intended. There's no reason to nerf the Drakgoon too.

They stealth-nerfed the Lato... the LATO :P

  4. Banshee's Silence rework is actually quite compelling. The fact that it basically staggers enemies momentarily when they fall within its aura make it a very tactical and aggressive sort of skill now it seems. The toggle for Sound Quake is amazing and the toggle for Absorb is actually not an awful idea either though as it has been pointed out, efficiency-boosting mods should still apply to these new "channeled" skill applications. Overall, I do view them as positive changes, especially in Banshee's case.

Trinity? I don't know man... you can call it melodrama to say "Trinity is dead" because she can no longer be a herald of immortality but lets be completely honesty here... how often do you actually see anyone playing Trinity NOT for that purpose and what conceivable purpose does she have with that taken away? There just really isn't much unique utility and usefulness in Trinity as far as I can see though I admittedly have not played her as extensively as other frames. It just seems like like  taking stones from someone who hasn't got many bricks to build a house in the first place; give the girl some love before you just get rid of the one thing she was actually good at.

Ash, again... I suppose any help he can get is positive because I do believe Ash stands as one of the most uninteresting frames in the game, to me. Though it's at least amusing/interesting that his Locust helm seems to sport hypodermic needles for eyes. Awesome design a bit wasted on a lukewarm skillset, IMHO.

  5. The problems I've been hitting definitely amount to more than hitches, though it's obvious a lot of work is being put into replicating the problem on the developer end. It is no exaggeration to say that my game runs a solid 60 FPS (vsync'd) barring the occasional slowdowns when some serious particle-based poo hits the fan. The recent issues have been, seemingly, unprovoked bouts of FPS plummeting into the teens and staying that way for a number of seconds, not a momentary thing. Then pleasantly resuming a perfect 60 FPS as soon as the fit is over, again, seemingly irrespective to circumstances in the game.

    Specs are

    Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM

    NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 570M (1.5GB GDDR5 VRAM)

    750GB hard drive (7200 RPM) + 250GB SSD

    16GB DDR3 RAM

It's a laptop and I'd prefer no uninformed commentary about how laptops aren't made for gaming. I've logged over 400 hours on Warframe alone with absolutely not a single performance-related issue until this recent problem cropped up. I'm sure if there was an issue in hardware inadequacy, it might have been a thing before now. In game graphics settings don't seem to make much a difference either.

  6. What's the deal with only being able to equip left arm, left leg and such? Are the equips not symmetrical?

Nevermind, apparently I cannot ready the post above mine >.>

Anyhoo, these look pretty neat and I wager the size is due to having to fit on a number of different topographies with the various 'Frames. One thing though, I kind of think the Daedalus lower armor should be more like a "wing" than just the same design as the shoulder pad, looks a little clunky.

  7. How about this. Whenever a new Clan-tech is set to be released, pop up a "contribute" thing in the research lab. That way by the time the weapon is released, it could also be "discovered" by the actual research rather than the research having to take place after the weapon launch and be unavailable for 3 days.

Just going out and buying crap completely ruins the fun of the game but at the same time, it kind of sucks to have to wait so damn long for something new.

  8. bleeding procs?

only rare mods on that build appart from Tethras doom mod was blaze which is given kinda often on alerts.

"Rare" is a very subjective term when it comes to Warframe and has nothing to do with the assigned rarity of the card in question. Actual rarity depends on how and when the RNG decides to drop certain mods and despite many being "Common", I have seldom if ever actually seen them.

  9. I've alternated both methods of firing. Suppose I will just keep slogging with it for the time being. It's not quite to 30 yet.

Just a damn shame so much can ride upon rare-&#! mods you may never actually see.

  10. I went from gross anticipation of this gun to painedly trying to slog through the process of mastering it -- what is wrong with this thing? It doesn't seem effective against anything. I know the shards are supposed to go through things but they seem more often than not to literally go through them, doing absolutely no damage at all. I don't understand. I've had a maxed Point Blank equipped since level 7 and have been swapping out various other mobs in a desperate gamble to make a viable weapon out of it but nothing seems to work. Even against level 10-15 infested its like pelting them with harsh language. :\

  11. I think you pretty much just killed the last of the Trinitys unless someone feels like playing an energy mule. The ability to provide invulnerability was pretty much the only thing I ever see her as being noted as useful for. As usual, your "balancing" logic perplexes me.

  12. So basically the drop tables aren't going to be fixed/cleaned up at all? Gotcha. >.>

    ADD A NEW TOWER MODE.

There are plenty of terminals in the Void Towers, add sabotage or spy or something. I've been grinding T3 survivals trying to get a Mag Prime Systems for months.

     Mission: TOWER III SURVIVAL

    LATRON PRIME RECEIVER
    FANG PRIME BLADE
    EMBER PRIME HELMET BLUEPRINT
    BOAR PRIME BLUEPRINT
    DAKRA PRIME BLADE
    LEX PRIME BARREL
    REAPER HANDLE
    FROST PRIME HELMET BLUEPRINT
    FORMA
    SICARUS PRIME RECEIVER
    MAG PRIME SYSTEMS BLUEPRINT
    RHINO PRIME CHASSIS BLUEPRINT
    SICARUS PRIME BLUEPRINT
    GLAIVE PRIME BLADE

^^^ that is a joke, especially since it does not include the Fusion Cores, Credit Caches and Orokin Cells which all apparently have a much higher rate of dropping than most of the stuff on that list.
  13. Infested sniper... Torrid? Looks way to slim to be any kind of grenade launcher now. I got excited when I saw the new model and was like.. OMG what is this in my inventory... oh... its just the Torrid.

  14. I agree. It's ridiculous that, as it stands, there's no way to tell what frames you're playing with while in a mission without targeting your teammates. In what's supposed to be a game for teamwork, that's an awfully important thing to know.

Profile recognition? I can tell what most all the frames are at a good glance or two. Not that better icon systems would be a bad thing.

  15. In my personal experience, it very much depends on the map. I've had games where I had three life supports sitting around in any room I walked into because there was plenty to kill to keep the drops going, yet others where I would be dashing frantically from pod to pod and trying to snag every pack in between. The new design works fine, when it works.

  16. They're jarring and cluttered and (sometimes) invisible. Even when I'm playing games with REAL scopes, I always go for something simple and unobtrusive. I don't need eye candy to shoot Grineer in the face.
