  1. Sorry to be a $&*^ but we've already clarified that guns/trigger types/mods (on the guns) have no additional effect so whilst confirming what we already know gets your post count up its pointless reiterating what has already been established.

afaik the damage for peacemaker is effected by strength mods. I was doing 4.5K with my build but my friend was supposedly doing 5.5K with his. Guns have no effect though

No one ever questioned whether power strength mods effected it but thanks for stating it for the people that cant use common sense :P

then why does it say multiplier :( also, DE, please make her ult just auto fire, and target things like antimatter drop

This is why we wanted DE to weigh in on it. You can alleviate the annoyance of rapidly clicking to use Peacemaker by binding your mouse wheel down/up to your fire key. Firing at AMD would be freaking insane but it'd go the way of the old Excalibur/Mag combo of Radial Javelin + Bullet Attractor and disappear once one of the abilities changes :'(

  2.

At the moment, we can only assume its based on equipment. Given that it switches to her 'regulator' pistols, I'd like to assume it actually takes the stats of your secondary weapon and not your primary.

Have you tested with secondary weapons yet?

Well after all that testing I have come to the conclusion that it doesn't actually matter what you have equipped and which one is in your hand at the time of using Peacemaker; regardless of whether it is a primary/secondary weapon, how it is modded (crit/status/elemental) or what type of trigger it has (auto/held/burst/semi-auto/charge/active/duplex-auto) the damage output will always be the same as will the fire rate - After doing 8 tests per weapon type (primary/secondary) and an extra one removing the mods from both my weapons entirely I cbf testing whether gear below rank 30 or taking off a primary/secondary makes a difference.

I tested it by keeping on the same rank 30 gear with the same mods (no mods on the weapons was an exception), substituting a control primary (penta) when testing out the secondary weapons or a control secondary (pyrana) whilst testing out the primary weapons and doing the same solo ODD map to keep the enemy level and saturation the same.

TL;DR Extensively tested Peacemaker and it essentially caps its damage just by holding rank 30 weapons in your hands which is not what is stated on the wiki.

It would be great if someone from DE could weigh in on this.
  3. At the moment, we can only assume its based on equipment. Given that it switches to her 'regulator' pistols, I'd like to assume it actually takes the stats of your secondary weapon and not your primary.

Not as extensively as I did with the primary weapons (maybe used 3 different ones) but i'll bash out a few runs now using the same gear I was last using but change my secondaries around and i'll get back to you :)

  4. Very nice feedback, well said.

I find myself ignoring Ballistic Battery entirely because it really doesn't add all that much to my damage regardless of whether its a normal or a critical hit. Tested it out extensively and either I'm somehow doing it wrong or the game just hates me :P

Has there been any clarification on where Peacemaker specifically draws its stats from? The wiki states "Mesa's Regulator pistols deal 100% / 133% / 166% / 200% damage of her holstered weapon, and all gunshots fired have 100% accuracy" but is that the weapon you had in hand when you used it or both your primary and secondary weapons combined?

The reason I ask is because I've been hitting for between 5-10k crits using a wide variety of weapons (sniper rifles, penta, ogris, ignis, supra, opticor etc.) which are obviously all modded differently and there has been no significant change to my damage output, some of which will happily hit for well over 50-100k damage on their own without the use of extra abilities so I'm not seeing any correlation between the ability and whatever weapons I'm using.

  5. In a live-stream or two ago you said that you were going to give some love to the charge weapons which were made obsolete by melee 2.0 (galatine, scindo, gram etc.), any heads up on when this will occur or a gist of what you will be changing for those weapons whether it be upping either their normal damage, channeling damage or something to do with their stance mods?

When will transmutation be fixed so that combining 4 rare mods give a result that is equal to (rare) instead of giving less than (common mods) or was this intended?

In which update should we expect the long fabled focus system? As I see it you either need to add a metric tonne of weapons to get us up to rank 30 or introduce Focus; which in itself adds another question of what can we expect for reaching the higher tiers of mastery rank as currently the maximum weapon restriction is rank 8 and the only other thing you get is an increase in the extractors you can place?

  6. So you know how ash's bladestorm has been buggy for quite a while, yeah just don't use it and you'll be fine :P

Seriously though there is absolutely no need to use abilities for that mastery test unless your gun modding skills or aim are less than stellar.

  7. You might want to fix your spelling/wording on the Atterax because sentenced to death makes more sense than "sentence to death"; Somehow I don't think the Tenno are going to read any Grineer into an early grave :P

  8. Have you tried Lephantis lately? Kidding :P

It's a cool concept that has been done to death in a countless number of games and whilst I would like to see something like that for a continual end game "challenge" eventually it'll get boring and be over farmed like every other game which has done something similar; I'm not saying it shouldn't be done just that it needs to be very well thought out and have a lot of replay value which isn't based on RNG.

  9. cbf quoting it.

You sir deserve a medal :P

The DE really need to do something about this issue because it's making the game less enjoyable.

If you disagree, then please enlighten me why it shoud stay the way it is.

So the 75% efficiency cap is putting a dampener on your fun levels and you think that changing it would somehow inject some more fun into YOUR game experience?

Lets just ignore the fact that players who have worked their asses off on their builds using multiple forma and fusing annoyingly expensive mods for the sole purpose of performing one task will get incredibly ticked off at your proposed change and do it just because YOU aren't having any fun... Wait a minute we just created a bigger problem because those players who undoubtedly outnumber you and those of the same opinion by like 10000 to 1 will either QQ that all of their builds just got screwed over and want DE to change it back pretty much forcing them to do so OR they will quit the game which will be a lost stream of revenue for DE.

Yeah buddy I'm sure DE will get right on that :P

Just for the record I don't use a maximized efficiency build on any of my frames (because I personally find them boring) but if I did there would be no words describing exactly how annoyed I would be if a change like this went through.

TL;DR What you're proposing is ridiculous and will hinder more people than it will help, purely to satisfy your own personal fun levels...

  10. Love the new game style, beats the hell out of the original survival!

My only issues like everyone else is that the maps are way to big, enemies need to either spawn near you or an excavator not in random out of the way locations, carrying multiple cores is good and all but it should only ever dump the amount it needs to get to 100% into it and leave the rest in your hot little hands.
