I think it has to do with sibear's special ability, boosting its status chance (or crit chance, I forget) for a short time after using a charge attack. Now that using the heavy attack drains the combo meter, its like you can't use the sibear's ability as freely as before the update (often re applying it because the duration is short.)

    Correct.

The scabbard doesn't show up in missions and there is a weird "phantom scabbard" in the arsenal sometimes. Is there supposed to be some other bug?

I suppose the fact that the Warframe holds the scabbard by the blade (or by the air when the blade is drawn) could also count as a bug.

The phantom scabbard as you called it is the bug I was referring to. I thought there was no way they could miss it with a main melee update. I don't know if my expectations are lower now or missing entirely.

Thank you both by the way

  2. So this weapon was kinda crap before. Especially considering what it costs to build it. I like it anyway.

New melee makes it worse. Buffing with with a charge attack did not last long enough before to even think about it. Now were one to use it, as it is a feature of the weapon, it also removes the combo counter.

This issue and many others I have seen really make this not seem like it was intended to be the (for lack of a better term in this context) 'finished product' one would assume that the title "Phase 2" would suggest. If it were, things like the Sibear would have been considered. According to you, you have multiple teams so its not like the numerous projects you're working on should prevented you from actually finish it. Still, it feels like an unfinished product that was put out so you wouldn't have to keep saying "SOON". Feels like the over-nerf to Bloodrush was done on purpose so that the intended adjustment that will inevitably happen will be better received. Otherwise we would complain more about said intended adjustment, which is true. Blizzard likes to do this kind of rubberband nerf-buffing a lot. /vent

These are all just guesses though so take it with a grain of salt or twelve. Except for the bit about the Sibear. It did actually suck and it does actually suck more now.

P.S. I left the game for a bit after the last Nightwave and came back for the vampire kat. Can anyone tell me if the Zaw Nikana scabbard bug fixed yet? Its as old as Zaws themselves and I got rid of mine after getting fed up with the unfixed bug so I can't check without building it again and lol not gonna waste my time if its not fixed.

Seems reasonable, although the starting frame that really sticks out to me is Volt.  It's, uh, shocking that he's not at more than 1.0.  I suppose maybe they worried that newbies couldn't handle too much sprint because of his 2, but then the Prime version is the same.

Also, while we're at it, give Harrow more sprint speed.  Everybody knows priests are good runners, and...and...and furthermore...reasons.

    Sounds good to me

You are here complaining about excal's sprint speed while DE trying to lie to us and pretend like melee 2.9 never happened?

Welcome to Warframe. Let's try to stay on topic. Then again this is Warframe so have fun.

Anyway, yeah. My opinion is that a slight buff to his base speed would be nice. I appreciate everyone else who has shared their opinion on the subject.

  5. Is slow. Please buff at least a little. Especially considering he is all about the sword.

Of course I'm referring to all versions of the poster boi.

To preemptively answer some possible posts: Yes, there are mods, thank you. See title

  6. Spoiler

    Yes I think even longer.

I did some digging and found countless past bug reports that didn't got addressed as well:

I stopped searching after that but you get the point.

At this point I think they are just straight up ignoring it.

Yeah, its pretty old unfortunately. Hopefully they fix it with everyone talking about it

  7. Yeah. I'm still hoping they fix this. Don't know why I still bother to hope seeing as this has been an issue for more than a year.

For fear of being accused of spamming, I won't re-quote it but if you look into my post history you'll find a recent post where I quoted someone who gathered up a bunch of topics on this matter. I also gathered up a bunch myself a few months back. Almost makes it seem like no one at DE reads these often if at all these days and they just fix whatever "minor" bugs they find internally. There are so many visible and common bugs that have gone unfixed for a year or more.

But I'd almost prefer that it's been read and ignored or forgotten than never to have been read at all.

Anyway, thanks for posting. If anything is going to be fixed from things on the forums it will be because people continue talking about it so keep it up!

okay, please forgive this stupid question. Why is 75% the Efficiency cap for regulators? Do you mean that 75% is the last "level" of efficiency for the weapon?

Not a stupid question, no worries. 75% is the ability efficiency cap. Less energy consumption while using your ult at 75%. Unless you're using Blind Rage which reduces efficiency, you only need rank 4 Fleeting and Streamline as mentioned.

EDIT: I was slow to post. Anyway, yeah, what they said lol

What DE says on day 1 : stuff

What DE actually implements : slightly different stuff at a time that is very far away from time originally said.

So even though it was said it would be a vampire kavat, it might be something that buffs health or armor or something else instead.

Exactly. Which is why I was hoping they would give us an update. I was just reiterating what was said at the time. I'd be up for any new kavat to be honest.

  10. Just noticed this with Crimson Dervish today. Thought I was doing something wrong. Glad to see it probably was all me. Sad to see another ignored bug. There's another glaring visual bug with the Zaw Nikana that has gone unfixed for more than a year. I'm respectfully disappointed, DE.

Bit sad the Khora Fierce skin didn't made it, or the two heavy blade skins from ....A which at least go in a bit of a different style direction than the big and clunky ones we have, or the Dero Amprex, or the Nakahi which is in the workshop since 2017 and so far we haven't had a single whip skin.

Hopefully the Khora Fierce V2 skin gets it next time. It's incredible

More than a year old now. I'm disappointed in DE.
