  1. As you approach the hour mark, enemies scale past level 100 (iirc); Against a level 100 Corrupted Gunner, CP aura will increase base damage done to him by ~40%. So yeah, its definitely worth it. If you only plan to stay to the 30-40 minute marks you can probably get by without it, but going past that you're gonna need at least 2-3 of them equipped on the team, ideally all 4.

My quest this evening is to get that -- aura polarity, if I was to attempt 2 maybe 3, CP aura in my squad, would you suggest also modding for viral or toxin maybe? I usually use corrosive heat on 6 x forma synapse, dual ichors toxin damage, just thinking with the huge chunk of armor that we wont have to get through

  2. Dammit, I was afk. Enough good advice already in the thread that I think I can pass on the copy & paste this time >.>

Personally, I, like most of this thread, prefer going with a short duration Blessing, meaning a short duration Link. However the build posted would work decently for what the OP is looking for - a Link tank, with an occasional Blessing to top people up. It would still work better with EV for energy generation to fuel the Blessings and Links, not to mention channeled melee attacks.

If you're dedicated to using Rage for energy generation, I would drop Redirection for Steel Fiber or Quick Thinking. If you do go with QT, this gives you the option of using Blessing after it's activated, providing a 99% damage reduction during it's activation period, so you may consider using a full rank on Blessing. But there's other/better builds for team reduction (namely no health/shields and max duration).

Personally I would run with EV instead of Rage, allowing you to generate energy whenever you want as opposed to just after your shields have broken. This would also allow you to adjust FE and Streamline to provide another 10% duration. Even with OE installed, this would provide 27.5 energy per cast, enough to follow up with a Blessing and still have energy for a following EV - so you'd need to maintain at least 15 energy (ideally 40) at all times. http://goo.gl/Nen3JU

Which means that you'll be using EV a lot, and would benefit from Natural Talent or Intensify, but there's not really anywhere to put it. I would suggest perhaps instead of Stretch - would reduce Link to 25m, which I think is enough. http://goo.gl/Rymxh0

Finally, I would suggest that perhaps the duration could be lessened. By dropping Narrow Minded and OE for Nat Talent and Constitution, you and teammates would gain a lot more energy from EV spam and you'd still maintain a 12.5 sec 20m range Link, good enough IMO, plus you'd get a little bit of knockdown assistance, useful when Link isn't active. http://goo.gl/Lj6l7w (you could use Stretch instead of Intensify or NT if you needed more range on Link)

Finally, if you're willing to toss in another forma, the aura should be switched to - for Corrosive Projection, making the build viable for high level Void and Grineer missions. For non-armored enemies, Energy Siphon is better than Physique, especially for the first and second build variations above where EV is not totally overpowered.

thank you for this^^^^^, after some gameplay and levelling today, I have decided to follow the third build, i have polarized a -- for constitution. so it is definitely worth it to put a -- in aura slot for corrosive projection on this build? will this build see me to 50 mins survival? sorry for all the questions, and thanks to all who have contributed, very much appreciated :)

  3. Needs moar Energy Vampire.

Did you really forma a third D polarity?  That really limits your options.

By the way, what is your goal with this build?  I'm confused by the huge Link radius but lack of damage reduction from Blessing.  You really need Quick Thinking and Flow to make Link a source of damage and then Blessing needs duration as well.  If not, then having Link as an emergency option really only needs a 6-9s duration.  Here is the build I use that is close to this but has more functionality:  http://goo.gl/pj7QGK (the three forma are there to support my other builds so you can do this with only 2, or 1 if not changing the aura).  Rush can also be swapped out but I like the speed on this build.

no i have not forma'd anything yet, I was merely using the warframe builder to get a feel of what that build would offer in terms of stats, BEFORE I go and ruin my Trinity, the huge link radius is because I am looking to mainly melee and thought the radius would be better if it was more ie kill close enemies with melee kill ranged enemies with reflected damage from enemies that I am in melee combat with, also dropped energy vampire due to being used to dropping team energy restores with all these eximus that are about

  4. She's basically a cleric now: the adjustments make "high" level play nothing more than a combination of watching status bars and hoping to get the sweet spot for healing as you'll be time locked after you cast.

Still a powerfull team asset but not really fun to play.

As to builds, I build to reduce my overall duration to minimise the lock out, you seem to have gone for as much duration as you can fit. I'll assume you intend to be less of a support player and more of a link reliant tank. Should work well for you. although if your using consumables, the duration becomes less of an issue.

This exactly, I'm looking to play a more melee orientated role, without having to be just a healer, whilst having fun, yes consumables are a great part of your entire build, ie team ammo restores allows you to drop the ammo mut on your rifle build for maybe another useful mod, more damage etc

  5. You should completely remove duration. IMO, Blessing is better spammable, which is why, I'm assuming, you had it at R0 is the first place.

The duration is for the link as I tend to run with dual Ichors and really enjoying the new melee system, like to tank sort of playstyle

  6. If you're using Rage on a frame that can heal itself (which is generally all you should be using Rage on), don't use Redirection.

The redirection is sort of a back up, this coupled with the sentinel replacing my shield also, is for the most case in case of hit by leech eximus, because at 30 -40 mins T4 they strip shields instantly. and to get caught with no energy is a real no no

  7. Hi I'm planning on revisiting Trinity as I sort of just levelled her quickly for mastery and never really paid much attention to how to mod her, if anyone who reads this has played Trinity recently, or are veteran Trinity players could maybe give me a few tips/builds, was thinking something like this---> http://goo.gl/8xW5MQ    I play mainly high level survival, both in the solar system and void, plus I take advantage of team energy restores, due to the amount of eximus, any help would be greatly appreciated.

  8. In my opinion, as long as you can get over 20seconds duration you should be fine.

on both builds if you take out constitution, you only lose 3 seconds of invis time, which isn't alot. i think you have plenty of invis time as is, so i'd go with fleeting expertise.

you can also try maxing out fleeting expertise then dropping streamline, freeing up another slot, and still have 20secs of invis, due to the arcane helmet.

    other than that solid builds

I was thinking about whether Fleeting Expertise is worth putting on Loki for duration build or not. Yes I can cast it more often with Fleeting but I have to cast it more often with Fleeting. No Fleeting is more expensive per cast but each cast lasts longer. I was thinking about this two ways:

    1. Fleeting

    2. No Fleeting

    http://goo.gl/du2N10

    e56526fbc8.PNG

I mean I'm going to 2 Forma it anyways since I need to have it interchangeable with a Disarm + Switch Tele Build so I can pretty much replace Fleeting with anything if that is the case, so if you have any recommendations, feel free to share.

If you're doing T4 survivals for long periods, I would drop flow and quick thinking, for vitality and redirection due to the amount of eximus, pack plenty of team energy restores in your gear as 1 tick from these restores will allow you to cast any ability again, and as above you can drop streamline if you got the essence arcane helmet, also drop decoy for radial disarm

  9. It's just weird, I was cross referencing the drop table on my laptop while playing and some of the 20 minute rewards weren't from rotation C, which is what was fueling my initial confusion.

it is pretty annoying when you hit the 20 and 40 mark for lets say,,,,, a boar prime part when pre patch these was very easy to obtain,,diluting the drop for the loki chassis further

  10. OP you are correct aiming for the 20 - 40 min mark for the Loki is the best you can do, although the part dropped for me on the 40 min mark. when I farmed this part I thought it was a lot easier to do 40 min solo runs. had it 2 or 3 times on the 40 min mark, also have not seen it at 20 min mark! hope this helps. also find this to be the case with the helmet from T4

  11. so i bought maxed serration for 122 p is that a gd price

Well you obviously needed it and was willing to pay that amount, so yes it seems a fair price. If you not sure if it is worth it, try maxing one of said mods out for yourself, as it is no easy feat, narrow minded and blind rage will eat as many cores as you can throw at it! put 25 rare 5s into a 1 from the top narrow minded-blind rage an it barely moves!

  12. I recently sold a maxed redirection and a maxed serration, together for 300p. 150 each, around U11 people was paying about 400 for just 1 of these (PS4) also recently sold a maxed narrow minded for 450p, this i seen selling around U11 for about 800 - 1k,  should imagine blind rage to be worth about the same as narrow minded, when maxed out

  13. Warcry is currently bugged as well, the armor increase from the ability is permanent. So my current setup is using no duration or efficiency mods, just pure tankiness.

Just cast WC asap during the match and enjoy running around with incredible amounts of effective health. Reflection and Reflex Guard can be exchanged for Vigor and Flow for more effective health but less mitigation. Reflection is particularly useful when you channel the block with Life Strike equipped for 0 energy healing.

    http://goo.gl/SYdhJ0 = 16234 effective health.

May I ask if the above also applies to PS4 users? got a lot of spare forma, and I kind of only levelled this frame around U11

  14. A small hotfix just went live. Here's what it included:

    Changes:

-Lowered the frequency of T2 Capture keys as mission rewards for ‘Medium’ difficulty Interception missions (Starting enemies 10 -20).

    Fixes:

-Fixed common crash occurring in T4 missions, most frequently when Void Vor appeared.

good news, got low T key reward like 3 or 4 waves consecutively, when should have rewarded T4 ie; wave 5,6 and 7

  15. 1) Bring your best gear. For frames, any who can take dmg or not take it at all

    2) Forma all your gear and max out your builds

    3) Unload everything into Stalker when he pops up in his kneel position, and while he's getting up

    4) If not dead, run around and dodge his attacks. Look out for his abilites (Absorb, Teleport, Slash Dash, etc.)

    5) Certain abilities will be cancelled by Stalker's Dispel and even staggers you, so watch out for that. (refer to http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Dispel )

If you have the best gear, you can probably get Stalker before he gets up. A full clip (5 shots) of my 3 Forma'ed Brakk wrecks him.

#5 is very important for anyone who is farming for the stalker, as he will usually slash dash if he gets a stagger on you, my synapse destroys him as described above, as he spawns in you can take shield but no health while he is in this "spawning" animation, hence why it is important in my opinion to get him in an open area, then just unload on him , usually dies more or less instantly for me if I catch him in spawning animation with 6 x forma synapse :)

  16. My T4 Surv build(more of a team set up) which has gotten me to 65 mins

Nyx with Absorb build: Because after 40mins Enemies get into the Lvl 60+ range and everyone is either a Heavy Gunner or Eximus

Nekros with Desecrate build: This doesn't really need an explaination

Trinity: Her Link and Blessing is really a life saver if you go down 40mins+

And Loki with a Radial Disarm build: He automatically turns a room into an infested mission.

For Team Synergy: Loki drops Decoy right next to Nyx's Absorb so she draws double the attention, allowing pickups or escapes. Nekros/Loki are super squishy so Trinity helps out alot. The things about this set up is you really have to trust the people you're with, and they have to be alert/know what to do. Also after about 40-50mins when weapon dmg starts to fall off drastically, leave the damage part to Nyx, while you and the other teammates focus on Life Support. Hope i helped!

I play the Loki role in the above and my setup is synapse with corrosive and heat, despair with corrosive and blast, dual ichor with gas and electric, can do 40, 50 mins solo T4 no probs, plus the radial disarm, as described is a must and render these level 60+ enemies a joke, my 1 tip for those running long survival is to drop flow in your Loki build and hit efficiency cap, equip team energy packs, that way when you get hit by eximus (which you will) you can quickly deploy 2 or 3 team energy packs and you only need 1 tick from these to cast any ability ie radial disarm, invis
