  1. Confirmed having a solid supply of anti-moa's spawning on Elara, Jupiter.

Harvester is said to be in the game; there is a post by Megan with her stating this.. so we'll see soon enough on how often the harvester will show up.. remember the Harvester is the Corpus's pet so you can do the math here on ways to get it to show up.

Still waiting to see pathogen rounds drop from anti-moa's. Side note: I've scanned 9 so far & my codex confirms their drop table having it.

pathogen rounds are definitely dropping, confirmed this in a session earlier! (PS4)  think I read somewhere that supporting grineer, during grineer v corpus invasions gets you the mark, although not sure whether ps4 players get a message from alad v, as this how you know you're marked (PC)  https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/158993-finding-out-how-to-spawn-the-harvester/page-89    not sure I done that link right but hey I'm just trying to help

  2. I start off with Vor then go through all the grineer bosses, do it solo so you are guaranteed to get the killing blow, as you may run a boss several times but not get the killing blow if you play with friends/randoms, had 3 spawns in last 10 days, good way to also get a spawn IMO is to go do some ODD runs solo with new secondary/melee weapons, do wave 10 then leave, and repeat this, because it seems to me he comes when you are weaker (leveling new warframe or weapon, although not proven) hope this helps

  3. you might want to try dual ichors, the poison DoTs are supposed to amake them viable, i have not made mine yet...

dual ichors are awesome, plus toxic damage making it easier to mod, pair these with a loki with invisibility for stealth melee damage bonus with berserker and fury and reach, instant crit due to stealth, try it

  4. OP here:

I get the basics. Let's first clear that up. I know that you need certain elements against mobs. I've realized that my weapon's base stats will dictate what it would be effective against as well. However I am not seeing the damage gap filled here that's needed against lvl 25+ mobs.

Take my Drakgoon for example with it mods it has: 47 impact, 47 puncture, 376 slash, 564 magnetic which is a total of 1,034 damage. Now all the mods aren't maxed out. If they were I calculated the damage being:

47 impact, 47 puncture, 376 slash, 846 magnetic which equals to 1316 damage. At least that's what you see in the Arsenal page. I haven't a clue how it plays out in actual combat but this is the numbers I am looking for. What damage does your weapon say it does in the Arsenal page.

However the 300 points in damage difference doesn't feel like it's enough to close the gap. In the one survival mission where we went to 30mins. There was mobs around lvl 25+ and it took nearly half or more of my clip (7 rounds in a clip) to take just one down and we were swarmed by this point. That to me is not good.

There has to be a way to achieve higher damage than this. I just don't know which way to go. If I use faction specific mods it'll only boost the damage by what? 30% at max? I could slap on a second set of elements but this would most certainly require a potato. Is that the case now? To handle T2 and T3 you need a potato? I have nothing against it. I just need to know. I'd also hate to potato a weapon that it would be wasted on.

This is why I am asking for specific damage numbers. To let me see if I'm close or I am too far away that a potato wouldn't make a difference. It also be nice to see how powerful some people's weapons are when modded. So if you guys could post the numbers in your Arsenal page and maybe tell of which mods you got on that be very helpful!

try using a gun that actually puts out impact damage as its main damage type, the gun you are trying to go high level void with has tons of slash which would be perfect vs infested but not to good in the void unless you are doing ODD

  5. @ the op, spend your platinum only on warframe slots, weapon slots, reactors and catalysts, everything else in the game can be earned apart from platinum obviously. sometimes alerts pop up on arsenal screen that can offer reactors and catalyst keep an eye out for these. Dont be a noob like me when I first started I was buying revives, not knowing that I could just swap warframes. Have fun with this game, learn how to do damage to different enemies like others above have stated, the wiki is your best friend whilst playing this game! hope this helps :)    happy hunting

  6. I met him several times before the update ;)

so far I have only met the stalker, no harvester at all,,, did you play on the  first invasions around christmas? and any tips on getting him to spawn? im done my first grineer v corpus invasion this afternoon, supported grineer, when i recieve battle pay will i get a mark?

  7. Death mark for harvester you have to do invasion missions in favor of grineer. Kill bosses to get the death mark for stalker.

I gather you are on pc? see we have just received I believe to be update 11.5 cicero crisis (i think). do I need to collect battle pay before mark is active?

  8. Mag

    Shield Polarize

    • Mag exudes a polarizing aura of magnetic energy 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 meters wide that restores 10% / 15% / 25% / 50% of friendly shields and depletes the same percentage from enemy shields.
      • Restores Mag's own shields.
      • Restores Cryopod/Artifact shields on Defense missions.
    • Shields which are drained cause 100% / 150% / 200% / 250% drained points as 8-blast.png Blast damage in a 5 / 8 / 11 / 14 meter explosion.
      • Enemies who have been drained are not damaged by their own explosion, but they can be damaged by nearby enemies who were also drained.
      • The overlapping area-of-effect damage dealt from shield drains on a group of enemies does notstack with each other: each enemy will only take damage from the single strongest shield drain that could apply to it.
      • Will knock down targets which receive damage from a shield drain.
      • Capable of hitting unprotected enemy body parts, like the head.
    • Has a 1 second cast time and a delay between casts of 0.2 seconds.

Shield polarize scales with shields, damaging enemies based on how much was drained. Can hit pretty hard against enemies with high shields, IE corpus or void missions.

    awesome post^^^^^^^^^^

  9. Another reason to use carrier is that a lot of new players find it tough to keep up with more experienced frames who rush through the mission.  With Carrier around you don't have to choose as much between going to pick up loot or keeping up with the group.  As far as sweeper stealing kills . . .it won't do that until it's a little modded up, and that probably won't happen until your primary is modded up, and by then you won't be quite so new . . .and carrier will still be awesomely useful at picking up stuff.  From the perspective of someone who has bought and levelled deth cube, shade, and carrier and their respective weapons - carrier comes with me on just about everything now.

^^^^^agreed 100%.......multishot on the carrier also works like a dream

  10. alternate take on high-level Trinity build:

If you use Fleeting Expertise and Streamline both 1 point from the top you hit 75% efficiency, 25 energy Blessing, great if you're the only one on your team with Energy Siphon on (if you get disrupted at the wrong time, you'll only need 1 energy orb to recast blessing immediately for your team. don't have to worry about that extra 5 energy over time)

then you have max narrow minded, continuity, and constitution, along with the Aura helmet (aurora is the toilet bowl. aura is the xbox helm. c'mon, don't disgrace the trinity, we both have aura trin for our profiles! nice choice, btw). this will make your blessing's invincibility last 23.2 seconds (+132% duration)

I like using link, but its a little redundant because I also use sure footed and fortitude in my 2 extra slots. the range isn't the best with narrow minded, but you're invincible, so you can get up real nice and close with napalms and such. I suppose you could add overextended in place of fortitude/sure footed, and just keep up the link to avoid the knockdowns. I only use it when I need to use the redirected damage to take out enemies, and when I really can't afford to be knocked down. link also is a great combo with the penta or ogris. I love the penta, and link lets you do some extra damage to nearby enemies if you blow up a grenade close to you and them

I don't use Energy vamp on my build either, because of the narrow minded business. teammates don't benefit from it unless they get right up in there, and I'm usually fine with the efficiency, and I have energy siphon as my aura. its a little selfish, but unless you have really good communication, your team won't benefit from your EV as much as they should. and personally I don't need the extra energy. trinity has 225 energy at rank 30 (don't need flow once you rank her up to 30), which means you can cast blessing 9 times before you need energy. that's 208.8 seconds (3:28.8), during which you're regaining energy from energy siphon, so really you can cast even more before your energy hits 0. however, if you're also keeping up link constantly, it's a different story. I only use link sparingly

then I'll add in redirection, no vitality for me. rage + QT are another option over fortitude + sure footed, but again, those last two mod slots are essentially personal choice. you can even use rush if you really wanted to, the rest of the slots are taken up by the useful mods, and there aren't any others that are essential to the build.

    ok, breakdown time:

3 forma'd trinity: change aura slot to - for Energy Siphon. change 1 ability slot to - for constitution/fleeting expertise. change another ability slot to D for redirection/narrow minded

Here are your necessary mods, ones in a polarized slot will be italicized: BlessingLinkNarrow MindedConstitutionFleeting Expertise (1 less than max), Redirection (2 less than max), Streamline (1 less than max), Continuity. Those are 8 mods. Vitality can be used over Redirection, I suppose. fleeting is also optimized at one less than max, because it costs 10, and halved to 5 in a polarized slot. redirection is also optimized, costing 12, halved to 6

Final 2 mod slots are up to you. recommended combos: QT+Rage. Sure Footed+Fortitude. Energy Vampire+Overextended

QT and Overextended may require a forma to max them out, as they are both pretty costly. or if you forma out 2 ability slots both to D, I think QT and Overextended are both D, so move fleeting to a normal slot, and one of those mods into a polarized one. that may work

thanks for this^^^^^^^^^^ looks like Trinity is coming out of the foundry for her maiden mission tonight :) might have to grab a mod or two before i can build something like this!

  11. I've read on the wiki that the Gorgon is a login reward. I'm away from my ps4 right now, so I can't verify. Is Supra a fair compromise?

all your info is right there on the wiki, I also started playing this on ps4 at launch, it has rendered ghosts to the old games pile lol, anyways I went from Braton what you first get, to the braton which is on the market for 15k credits and still love that gun now, then soma. then go to damage 2.0 on wiki and learn to mod the weapon/s to hurt the faction you are targeting, ie grineer ,corpus or infested, if you can understand how to build for damage you will have a big smile whilst 1 shotting your victims hope this helps :)

  12. Support Frames, eh? You're looking for Frames like Trinity, Vauban, Loki, Nyx, Oberon, Nekros, etc. But they all have different ways of doing it.

Trinity: She can literally chain invincibility. You can get her first pulse of Energy Vampire to restore more energy than she used to cast it, and you can have 30 second Blessings.

Vauban: He's an anti-Infested CC Frame. Unfortunately, his Bastille does not pick up EVERYTHING anymore, so it's not as amazing as it once was. Vortex and Bastille are both great for CC. Mod them to be as big and long-lasting as possible.

Loki: He can be invisible almost eternally, & that helps to rez dying Frames. Also, his Decoy, while it may not survive, you can place it where melee enemies can't reach, and then use Radial Disarm constantly to make all enemies melee. Amazing CONTROLLED CC, I tell you.

Nyx: Chaos is wonderful. It's cheap, it has a massive radius and it makes everything go insane and start attacking each other. No enemies can stop it, and enemy damage does increase as enemy levels do, so it scales infinitely.

Oberon: Healer/support hybrid right here. He can nuke everything, leaving health orbs everywhere. That goes great with Equilibrium. Then there's his ground hazard with Hallowed Ground. And I believe Renewal can revive dying Frames? He's a pretty good hybrid, but that makes him only average at both skills.

Nekos: That is an intentional typo. Anyway, Nekos is more of a survival/looting Frame. Survival as in the game mode, not living, he's quite fragile. His second ability is an expensive Radial Blind, while his third can reroll the drops for all dead enemies around him. As in, all corpses around him are transformed into items, usually health orbs and oxygen. His fourth ability creates a bunch of weak decoys/meat bags. Meh, he's okay.

What kind of support do you like? Crowd control, ground hazards, damage boosts, loot boosts, team invincibility, or what? Take your pick and I'll guess the kind of Frame you'd like.

I just started using Loki, which I bought for 75 platinum (best buy in game IMO) perfect for support, gains massive damage buff when stealth melee, perfect for ranking weapons up! ie invisiblity and shotgun, plus warframe slot and potato for 75plat,,, go buy and try him. I'm currently levelling vectis with him. so much fun! OP, guy qouted here has just hit the nail on the head.

  13. Invis doesn't give the "unaware" damage bonus with guns, only melee. What it does allow you to do though is easily line up head shots for huge damage.

It was the Vectis I had built, Loki is amazing for his invisibility the melee damage bonus is very nice indeed. I put a potato on the Vectis and have started levelling it up. if you have not tried this combo it is so much fun
