    Status Chance Mod Buffs

The Status Chance Mods we released many years ago have not been considered worthwhile - there are simply better options within the Status Mod builds (Dual Stats) or Critical builds are more appealing. We are buffing all Standalone Status Chance Mods to increase the appeal of building for Status on your Weapons:

Rifle Aptitude increased from 15% Status Chance to 90% Status Chance

Melee Prowess increased from 15% Status Chance to 90% Status Chance

Sure Shot increased from 15% Status Chance to 90% Status Chance

Shotgun Savvy increased from 30% Status Chance to 90% Status Chance

Why? This is a long overdue change that will thrive when paired with the above change of giving >100% Status meaning. The goal is to give your Arsenals a shake up in terms of what Status may mean for some of your Collection! This is a power output increase across the board for Status.

What about Stunning Speed? is it going to stay at 10% Status Chance increase?

Why are Infected Clip and Seeking Fury R10? Are they getting % changes? If so, will Elemental, Reload Speed, and Punch Through Riven Stats have different scaling to compensate?

It's a mock-up, it's not hooked up into the actual game at all. The mission also implies that it's a void fissure (because prime parts were gotten), a syndicate mission (because Rhino found medallions), and a Railjack mission (because mag sabotaged crewships), all at the same time.

It is a similar issue to people wanting to solo extract from Survival, but with less penalty on the people that want to stay and continue doing things.  We just need a way for people to tell the team they want to leave, and for the team to have to respond so that person can get out.

A similar issue, but worse. This is like if in those survival missions, you needed the WHOLE group to go to extraction, rather than just half of it. So that just ONE person can effectively ruin it for the entire squad of 4. ONE person wanting to stay can just be like "you want to leave? y'all can abort" to the other THREE people in the squad, and force that upon them.

The liset is a type of landing craft. All landing craft dock at the orbiter.

of course, but I'm saying that the Liset could be the one that docks at the front and functions as the Orbiter's cockpit, while the others dock elsewhere.

Everything above the ramp is that ship, which is the landing craft. It's bigger on the inside. Everything below is the orbiter,

If you're referring to the shape of the interior, that's just the same for all of them.

I've always figured that the Liset is the one that docks as the orbiter's cockpit, while other landing craft dock somewhere else.

I thought that the Pox already left a gas cloud and I thought the Mutalist Cernos did too. Having a longer lasting one and being able to choke everything off would be kind of OP. If you have a weapon with gas it creates a small AOE cloud of gas.

If it's a mod to make it longer lasting, it would mean a trade-off, as it would take up a mod slot. A lot of the current cloud-leaving weapons aren't exactly the most-used, so I doubt it would be OP. Higher-health enemies would be able to just walk through it and survive, as well, especially with the potentially reduced damage

  7. Vacuum being usable by all sentinels definitely knocks Carrier off its must-use throne, which is good, but thanks to the fact that you cannot have the same mods on your sentinel's weapon and your Warframe's weapons, it's still something of a must-have, in order to acquire its weapon, Sweeper, which is the only sentinel weapon that can be equipped modded alongside most primary weapons in the game, assuming the user wants a full weapon loadout, and does not want to have to acquire and rank up duplicates (which gets more and more unreasonable to do as time goes on, with primed and event mods) of every weapon mod they wish to use.

The only thing this restriction does is make players feel restricted in which sentinel weapons they can use, with Sweeper as the only weapon usable when not using a shotgun, and Deth Machine Rifle, Stinger, Laser Rifle, and Vulklok as the only weapons usable when using a shotgun, with Burst Laser and Deconstructor effectively unusable.

  8. Now that we have Vacuum as a universal Precept for all sentinels, how about the next step for the imbalances in sentinels? Removing the restriction that sentinel weapons not use the same mods as your warframe's weapons. All this restriction accomplishes is that everyone uses Sweeper (assuming they use a weapon) unless they're using a shotgun as their primary, in which case they use a rifle sentinel weapon. This fact means Carrier is still something of a must-have, even if you don't use it itself.

Basically, because DE is using the wrong method for determining prime part ducat value (and Baro's pricing) since SotR.  They're looking at player inventories, which is the wrong approach because many long-time players have ducats and prime parts stockpiled from the good ole days of endless prime farming (I'm not saying "good ole days" to be sarcastic.  I really do miss endless missions with friends that rewarded decent drops).  Newer players will continue to be at a disadvantage if DE only looks at player ducat inventories to determine pricing.

DE should start looking at how rare certain prime parts are, and base pricing (both for selling, and for Baro's prices) on that.

It may seem like this would give players with stockpiled ducats an advantage but it really wouldn't.  Since newer players would be getting more value for their smaller inventory of prime parts, they'd be able to afford to buy things from Baro.

This isn't the case at all. It's now literally based on which portion of the relic's drop table it's in, common, uncommon, or rare, with a few odd cases that are most likely oversights.

  10. Nullifiers are MOSTLY fine as they are, the only problem I have with them is that they are a massive "**** you" to slower weapons, like snipers and bows. Yes, you can run into their bubble and kill them easily, but if you're using one of the aforementioned weapons, you're probably playing in a way that shouldn't be doing that.

Nullifiers should keep things interesting by being a priority target, not by making life hell for weapons designed to take out priority targets from a distance. It's not like these weapons are OP or anything that would make them deserving of such difficulties.

Exactly, you understand my point. No offense to you PureIcarus. This is exactly what my day of framing it up would be like. Sorties I have a shot at a decent amount of R5's but I also have a shot at getting a lens that I do not need, so I would constantly run Hieracon over and over again, or Triton. When that seemed to not give me what I needed I went and ran multiple T4 Survs and T4 defenses but was not getting the cores I need for the amount of work I am putting in. Before it was perfectly fine, now it seems pointless to even farm cores now.

Fusion Cores seem to be what the game gives you when you would otherwise get something you already got, so once you've gotten all 5 lenses that season, you can pretty much EXPECT fusion cores. Occasional weapon/nezha part might show up, but cores will still be the majority.

WAAAAAAIT...so the Tonkor gets a nerf for SOME publicity but the Boltor Prime and Soma (now prime) gets no nerf when they had SOOO MUCH more publicity at the time? This angers me

The level by which the Tonkor outperforms every other weapon is much, much larger than Boltor Prime or Soma did.

What do you mean by stacking auras? Do you just mean killing one when another is also in range that just keeps draining energy?

Energy Leeches/Parasitics units are capable of draining players' energy within 15 meters at the rate of 5s−1(non-stackable effect).

Oh, I would've sworn it always felt like it drained faster when there were more of them. Ignore that part then.

    - "Typical Corpus. The blueprint is free, but they jack up the material costs!"  - Ordis.
So, the Corpus are known for providing blueprints, are they? What other blueprints are they known for sourcing?

I think you're looking into this wrong. He's just saying the corpus are typically greedy, I.E. the blueprint is free, but the material costs are high to force you to buy the materials.

  15. The problem isn't so much that they need to be nerfed, it's that there needs to be LESS of them. EVERY Infested unit has a parasitic exmius variant, and several of them have parasitic as their ONLY eximus type (namely all of the light infested: Crawlers, Chargers, and Leapers). Or, if we're not going to reduce their numbers, then reduce their capability to stack their auras.

This gets really problematic in infested eximus stronghold sorties, but to say that parasitic eximus as a whole should be balanced around a single sortie condition (unless it's in the form of stacking reduction, which primarily affect just that) is rather silly.

So far we have Recruit Conditioning, which prevents players rank 1-2 from being matched with players rank 3-4 so they can learn the game and get a few mods before entering the high rank matches. The option just need to be made clear, and by clear I mean it should be in the Conclave console and not buried in the options menu. If you decided to rush to rank 4 to get the syadanna/armor/skins/whatever, welp, you knew what you were getting into :P

As someone who kinda rushed the ranks for cosmetics purposes, I find you actually really DON'T know what you're getting into. The general skill gap between recruit conditioning and regular is quite large. For ranks 1-2, I was destroying the opposition, I hit rank 3, and started getting completely wrecked most of the time, and started having a lot less fun with it, which in turn meant I wanted to try to rush it even harder, so I could get the skins and be done with it, thus not buying any mods with my standing.

Sorry but i think i missed your point here.

    Care to elaborate?

I believe his point is that Arena Shooters like Unreal Tournament are well designed with their fast movement systems in mind. Warframe's conclave, not so much.

Also, while the arena shooters movement is fast, I find it's a lot more consistent and easier to manage than Warframe's.

Oh, and the latency issues are compounded by the high movement speeds, making even slight lag rather noticeable.

  18. The redtext statement regarding "special under the hood stuff for baro tomorrow" simply meant that he'd have something new, and were adding that something to the game. It was probably only even brought up because that was the only thing the update contained aside from fixes.
