  1. It would be cool to bring 2 secondaries instead of 1 primary 1 secondary. It should be fine since pistols are generally weaker than primaries, right? I just love Dual Toxocyst and think it's way more fun than any primary weapon. Bzzzt! Chaining headshots rapid fire red crits! But I also would love to use a melee primer like Epitaph. On second thought, maybe we just need a better primary primer. Shotguns and Cedo glaives aren't my cuppa tea for applying statuses, and neither are beams. I want the rapid fire Epitaph bubbles! Maybe we could make that happen with some dedicated primer mods. I'm talking +SC/-Dmg. Anyways this post is inspired by the melee update and wanting more guns to facilitate melee.
  2. It disables alt fire but still works for MB3. My normal melee light attack is R and heavy attack is W. Those keys work normally when my primary is out. When the pistol is out, W stops working for heavy attacks, but my usual alt fire hotkey MB4 doesn't work (this is recognized in the post). Instead, MB3 becomes the hotkey, while both W and MB4 are disabled. So it's not just alt fire that is disabled. The post should also recognize that it disables ALL alternative keybinds for heavy attacks.
  3. The Glaive+Pistol bug seems to be related to hotkey changes. It currently ignores all hotkeys assignments for Heavy Attack other than MB3. I was doing Granum Void with Xoris, and I could not detonate my Glaive while holding a pistol. I tried with three different pistols: Tenet Spirex, Kuva Brakk, Kuva Knukor. The targeting reticle becomes circular, but when I throw my glaive and press my alt fire button, nothing happens. The glaive still detonates normally while holding a primary weapon, using the heavy attack button, but it does NOT work with a pistol out. My hotkey for alt fire is MB4. That's what I use on guns and thats what I have always used on Glaives w/ Pistol. I tried putting the keybind back on MB3 and that worked - although that was extremely slow and unresponsive. It seems like there was a change somewhere that only recognizes MB3. And is more sluggish than heavy attack without pistol equipped.
  4. I can no longer left click menus. It's completely broken. It cannot click menu buttons like "Options". Using arrow keys and enter, I can open options, but this does not work for "Restore defaults" or "Customize key bindings". I was able to push these with a gamepad, but it did not fix the problem. Only relaunching fixed the problem, and I am uncertain if restoring defaults before relaunching was required or if I just lost all my keybinds for nothing. The fact that this is even possible is incredibly stupid and needs to be addressed ASAP. If you're wondering how it happened, it unbound itself when I briefly remapped LMB in the key bindings. I found a setting that I didn't like ("Hide party list") and I wanted to unbind that. I clicked the keybinding N and on the "Press a key to bind" screen I pressed Esc hoping that would just unbind it. It did not. It did nothing. So I wiggled my mouse a bit and I guess I clicked because suddenly MB1 was bound to Hide party list". No biggie, I just put MB1 back on "Fire Weapon", closed the menu, hit confirm, and ruined my game.
  5. SUMMARY: After doing one mission, Cavalero gave me both the penultimate evolution and final evolution without asking me to do a challenge for the final evolution. The challenge isn't supposed to become available until after you report back to Cavalero with the previous challenge. SP Circuit as Host, Public squad, using Zephyr and Soma Prime installed with Incarnon Genesis. Evo 1/2 (install genesis, solo mission) had been completed prior to starting. I had picked my perk from Cavalero. The next challenge was "Kill 100 enemies with this weapon's Incarnon Form." I figured I'd finish off in Circuit. Upon joining, I did not see a box pop up showing Soma's incarnon challenge progress. I was certain to kill in incarnon mode and not with abilities. I checked the challenge screen, but there was no challenge for Soma. I play through and get at least 100 kills with incarnon mode anyway. On Stage 8, I die & revive. Upon reviving, the Soma 100 kill progress tracker shows up. Great! Just needed a death, like Resource Boosters used to need. I finish off the challenge. I play two more stages and extract. I go to Cavalero. I expect to choose my next perk and preview the last challenge. Instead, I saw that the final evolution had also been unlocked and I was able to pick all of my perks. I expected to have to finish the final challenge, "Kill 10 enemies within 8 seconds 10 times", but I did not have to do this. It's worth nothing that I likely got kills like that incidentally in the final stage after completing the 100 kills, because Zephyr, but you're not supposed to be able to start the next challenge before you return to Cavalero. At no point did the final evolution challenge tracker box appear on screen during the mission. This is possibly related to the Resource Booster Bug from the early Circuit days, as made evident by death playing a role. (Resource boosters worked normally after one death, just like my evolution came online after one death). Perhaps it secretly tracked completion for the first 100 kills without showing progress, and then after death allowed me to do it again? And then maybe the game just reads two challenges completed and gave me two evolutions? Anyway this isn't really a bug that caused issues - a mild convenience really, but I wanted to report it anyway since who knows what other stuff might be related. Maybe this will give a clue on another fix or something.
  6. What loadout have you tried? Can you list all the weapons? What mission were you doing? Solo, public, etc? Did you complete it? Usually people that struggle with this one are just doing it incorrectly.
  7. Lone story, public, as client. picked my weapons before entering. issue persists through drifter transference and the next undercroft stage.
