  1. When selecting the option to gild an amp and then choosing my maxed Mote Amp, I get a message: "You cannot donate your only Mote Amp". Even if Motes can't be gilded, it shouldn't be displaying that text. Happened after I fast travelled to Onkko, maybe that has something to do with it?

  2. Was running around one of the underground tiles of PoE when my Bolto suddenly became a floating potato. I had just used the mining tool, that plus the secondary+melee probably caused this. The bug is purely visual, I could still fire, reload and use/launch my glaive.

Sah frowned as he explained it all to her, 'it would never be the same even after a transplant...' scratching at the space just behind her ear she thought on his words before deciding with a sigh that she'd need help in this journey. "Well if I can only get better then I need you to help, do you have any tips for... acclimating to the prosthetic? Anything that'll help me with twitch reactions that come naturally to a normal limb? I take it that you have much more knowledge about these things given your inclination towards replacement limbs, and as you said the best strategy is to start small." She grabbed idly at nothingness with her fake hand testing the motions once again, to test her neural pathways towards the individual fingers.

Abra would have used his CPID to comission a couple of weights, maybe some specialized equipment, but suddenly had an idea. They were right by the kitchen, weren't they?

"Do you know how to juggle?" He led the way while talking with Sah'jey. "It's an excellent excercise, helped me smooth out movement. Before that, though, we'll do catch with a water capsule - that'll improve reaction time and help you moderate the Herakles model's strength. Don't worry if you burst a capsule once or twice, it won't make much of a-"

The door to the kitchen opened, and the intoxicating odor of dirty fur spilled out, along with more than a few chewed-up jars. Abra stared in horror at the panting Kubrow on a throne of discarded containers, unable to keep himself from completing his sentence.

    "... mess."

  4. The twist got me at first, but as it's been expanded upon I'm liking the Operator less and less. They're supposed to represent the player, yet their actions are limited to three basic options at a time if you're lucky. Their dialogue is pretty annoying too - not voices, dialogue. It's almost impossible for me to take them seriously.

  5. It might not be the very best weapon anymore, but the Jet Kitty is still a lot of fun to use. Paired with a frame that can open enemies to finishers, it can instakill almost anything and is wonderful at crowd control.

Put Animal Instinct on your sentinal - Wisp appears as a white lootbox.
Very rarely are there any white lootxboes that are not wisps near the water. So if you see one you can be with about 70% surity it is a wisp.

Actually locating Wisps isn't my main issue, it's the funky pickup hitbox that's a real problem.

  7. Among the many new crafting resources introduced through POE, Cetus Wisps stand out (to me at least) as the most frustrating to obtain. In this post I hope to objectively express my grievances with them.

    - Finding them in the first place depends entirely on luck at first, without any clarification on where to get them. If I'm not mistaken, a set amount are randomly generated every time a player enters the Plains, and they do not regenerate. Through multiple runs my collected Wisps per run are rarely more than five and have never reached or surpassed ten. Running Bounties for them is not a viable option since the Wisps compete against several other rewards in the table, only one is obtained, and only one Bounty option has them.

    - While they stand out somewhat in daytime, during nighttime they are almost indistinguishable from the other dozen sources of bright blue light. Their audio cue, if they even have one, melds too much with ambient sound. Their minimal size certainly doesn't help finding them.

    - Upon finding a Wisp, one cannot depend on Vacuum to pick them up: one must walk and pick them up oneself. However, their pickup hitbox, if I can call it that, doesn't seem to match their already tiny form. Several times upon running/jumping directly at a Wisp, it hasn't registered.

    - If the Wisp is not picked up within a short timeframe, it shall begin to fly upwards. Although it's possible to catch it just as it begins to rise, many times the wonky hitbox will keep it from the player's grasp.

I understand the need for rare resources upon releasing new content: if the players could get everything in a single run, their invested time would be minimal and that would prove detrimental to the game's health as a free MMORPG. However, the amount of Wisps necessary to build the newest Operator-specific items seems to match a resource like Orokin Cells, which can be picked up normally and do not have these drawbacks in their acquisition.

Making Wisps difficult to find already makes them feel rare. Making them disappear if not picked up punishes slow players and rewards quick ones. But making their pickup hitbox seemingly smaller than they are on top of their difficulty in standing out at night only casts a negative light on them and the player's experience collecting them. Rather than rewarding, catching a Wisp feels stressful, needlessly difficult, and even more dependent on RNG than other resources.

I would recommend increasing their pickup hitbox at the very least and changing their energy colour, or keeping those as they are and removing their disappearing act.

I hope you'll consider what I brought up. Thank you for reading.

  8. Ignus Dei's designs were the best thing to ever happen to this cursed game. Take a look at the most popular deluxe skins, how many of them were designed by DE's own guys? One? Two?

His work is just better. Wonderful details, lovely colour combinations, an authentic expression of what that Warframe represents. Even if some flairs were similar, his designs stood out due to the personality they exuded - DE's other skins just look flashy because of weird colour choices.

  9. DE really have to stop showing off more than what we've already seen, which is already a lot. Otherwise there won't be anything "new" because we've already seen it all in previews.

Hopeful that the update drops on Wednesday next week. I was expecting it this week, but oh well. It's a free game, it's a free update, can't complain tbh.

“I strongly protest your assessment of unity’s…fun-ness,” Alaric said, though any attempt at gravity was ruined by the lopsided smirk that spread across his face at the thought of secret rendezvouses between Cressa Tal and Ergo Glast.

“Unity gives time for the writing of poetry and the forging of cool things.”  He considered for a moment, then added, “Most of which cool things, admittedly, are then used to blow stuff up.  And I have yet to hear a Tenno poem that did not include, in some measure, references to swords, honor, or highly symbolic flowers.”

The foundry finished its work with a pleasant chime, leaving the cipher module spinning lazily in a suspensor field.  Alaric plucked it from the air and cast a sidelong glance at Kate when she suggested that they try an incubator core next.

“I suppose we have the argon crystals for it after our last jaunt through the Void,” he conceded, “but I’m not sure why we’d need one.  There are no Kubrows on board to incubate.”

If only he had known how wrong he was.

"Nah, hold on. There was one poem by a Vauban, I think, that went a bit like:"

    'Child, soldier, builder, god,

    Yet still I work alone.

Clocks tick, time winds back and forth

    As I try to repair

    Memories, not machines'

"He couldn't rhyme for sh!t, but I suppose he was going for a feeling, not a song. As for the Incubator..." Kate shrugged before crossing her arms, leaning against the Foundry. "I dunno, I just want to work with Argon as quickly as we can. Even considering our use of Argon-infused items, the actual crystal itself keeps..."

With a wave of her hands, she imitated dust blowing away. "Poofing into nothingness, you know? Better take advantage of our recent haul to make what we can."

"Well, yes and no. It all feels wrong when I shoot with this arm. Attempting to compensate for the recoil and then finding there isn't any." She shook her head and looked at the prosthetic once again rotating it and viewing it over. "It's just debilitating and strange, a Mesa who misses a shot is unheard of as i'm sure your aware. So leaving things as is isn't acceptable."

Abra hummed, bringing up his mechanical hand to scratch at his helmet's chin. "This sensation of disconnectedness won't go away by itself. Gaining a biological arm won't make it go away - it'll still be a transplant, and it won't be a perfect copy. The best way for you to regain your sense of balance, coordination and in turn aim is to start with little things, not jump straight ahead to shooting. Did you think getting this arm of mine was a simple operation from which I recovered immediately? No. It'll take time and patience."

"Even so, listen to yourself. Recoil is a problem with every single firearm, and minimizing it is something all gunslingers learn. If you can adapt your style to incorporate this new strength, you'll become a greater fighter than before."

Wasn't the Sumulacrum just a Conclave map?

Not quite. Surface textures/effects and the skybox are identical, but the Simulacrum has almost no walls and much less verticality. Also, you spawn on an elevated platform with an enemy spawn control console, your arsenal, and infinite health/energy/ammo pickups.

TL;DR: The holes are intentional, not sure why.

  12. First run, got a Piercing Caliber. It's actually kind of funny because the first time the Puncture set came around, I sold my only copy of PC - I was caught up in a gold rush at the time, desperate to get any bit of platinum I could, but lacking Piercing Caliber was bothering me more than anything else in the end. Now, my vital damage mod collection is finally complete, so I'd say I walked away from the event pretty happy.

  13. Another reason to revamp Dojos. As much as I want to see this ingame, the Devs have pretty much forgotten about Dojos. The latest addition was the Ascension plate, and that's only to rank up your clan - but there's honestly no real incentive to do so other than the Endo.

    Wh...What?

            1       2        3  Km

    1   [  1 ]  [  2  ]  [  3  ]

    2   [ 4  ]  [  5  ]  [  6  ]

    3   [ 7  ]  [  8  ]  [  9  ]

Three kilometers wide by three kilometers long, as in three kilometers squared is 9 square kilometers.

Or is everyone running into more misunderstandings about who's talking about "square kilometers" and who's talking about "kilometers squared" again?

Somewhere along the line, there's definitely been a misunderstanding. I blame the education system.
