  1. Saturn as a planet has some serious potential, the grinner asteroid and ship tilesets take up many of the missions we have available. Let’s replace them: Saturn is a planet the grineer have been probing farther and farther into, in hopes of finding orokin airships and arcologies which are only known to be in the dark zones of the clouds. Their capabilities have been expanding and go deeper and deeper into the clouds each year. Though not without problems Saturn’s wildlife often interferes, massive swarms of mantarays attack often and giant flying spiders create nets strong enough to get tangled in and jellyfish like creatures float about many of which the grineer live in and on as they’re big enough to maintain ecosystems, some of the jellyfish did due to the grineer’s invasive augmentations to their bodies. The grineer use massive balloons made of the spiders silk as a way to float on the clouds and harvest the spiders silk in labs to export beyond the planet. On top of this the grineer also have some of the highest security prisons on the planet one of which was recently broken out of. . . During the quest we are sent to stop their technologies from developing further and learn more about general sargas ruk and dr tengus’ origins After the new war narmer seeks refuge in the clouds and have turned the orokin gas cities into places of horror where abominations brew, orokin, sentient and some even corpus and grineer amalgams are created here. After the fall of narmer the sentients have been using whatever they can to get stronger even if its suboptimal. We find variants of classic grineer weapons enhanced by the tech of narmer such as the stug, quatz, and the grakata.
  2. The undercroft is a place where we’re supposed to grind for hours on end and yet it’s the most visually repetitive place in all of duviri. My idea to fix this is by simply, changing the lighting and the skybox based on the emotions, perhaps calm can make an appearance. But it doesn’t have to be strictly tied to the emotions of thrax, other things can make an appearance like the murmur skybox or the the yellowish white void energy we see when doing relics.
  3. Arcanes are cool and detached from the regular mod capacity, so theyre perfect for a fun leveling mechanic for when grinding gets boring. If we get say a hypothetical arcane named rushup it would speed up our fire rate each time we level up. Another one could be Arcane Blast which causes our bullets to be explosive upon leveling up.
  4. I hear a lot about new players being so unpleased with the glossy look of the warframes, that many get turned away from playing the game entirely. Recently DE have made it possible to alter the textures of warframes using voidshell skins. However this is something new players aren’t likely to use until they are deeper into the game. This might sound crazy but I think making the starter warframes’ skins retexturable would be a great way for new players to get into the game making DE more money in the long term. It would have to be explained that retexturing your warframe is something only a few skins can do to avoid confusion. We’d also have to give them some textures to use especially ones that aren’t as rubbery. I’d give them some matte leather, a more metallic segmented texture to make them look like mechs and a Stoney/dirty texture like the ones they have on before they’ve awakened. Lastly I think a new but subpar color palette is in order the classic one we have now gives off a predatory microtransaction vibe that new players don’t need as they start the game you access next to nothing on there. Giving them access to some of the classic and all of a new subpar one will feel like getting a taste of something you could have.
  5. We have yet to see an expansive Tenno area in the game as of right now, we know with the next few expansions the man in the wall will most likely be coming after lotus. Since lua was in the void we can say that there remains a small rift slowly growing in size allowing the murmur to attack. The tileset would be a combination of the Tenno architecture we see in relays and the lotus’ purple throne room. Since it’s on our turf the game modes have potential to be different, e.g. a reverse spy mission where we play hide and seek on a timer and if the timer ends the eximii/minibosses we hunt merge into bosses that take control over our defense systems, i imagine it’d play like void cascade but on a much larger scale. A reverse hijack mission could also be cool just give the murmur the upper hand by making it hard to reverse movement in our favor. It’d also be cool to see some kind of Tenno hacking system partially corrupted by the void to play tricks on us and if we fail we get a QTE. The potential here is crazyyyyy!
  6. Do you have a pic? that sounds interesting as balls! I have a theory that sentients are somehow partially built of stuff that conducts void energy wayyyy too well which is why it destroys their bodies complex systems e.g. their wombs. This would explain why our amps look like chunks of their body parts put together.
  7. I remember hearing about people bringing this up as a joke at one point. Bro this seems pretty implausible unless we have some crazy reason for it like a sentient tomb being opened.
  8. It could just be 1 squad tbh just in different areas of gameplay, but idk I’m not very technical
  9. Honestly I’m mostly talking about the vibe, I just really wanted an otherworldly feel and got really excited about seeing a black and white landscape where color was used in important areas. The duviri we saw and the one we received still have a lot of similarities. Think of it like this if we hypothetically saw a trailer for an infested open world where it looked like the derelicts and we played as a human and then it shipped out and we saw it looked like the regular technocyte infestation and played as a warframe. Wouldn’t you say the vibe and general feel of the gameplay would be different?
  10. That is a fair point, but I’m mostly wanting this so we can feel like all parts of the game, all of our experiences on each level can actually feel like they matter in actual gameplay not just in terms of grind. After you finish an open world it’s something you can almost entirely forget about which is a shame because they’re so beautiful and have more potential, than just a place you do bounties.
  11. In the first trailer we see the drifter using Tenno weaponry like the Tigris while we only get the sirocco as a gun. We also see what appears to be the Zariman fractal patterns almost everywhere in the landscape, in duviri we see circles and patterns similar to what we saw but not nearly as prominent or as spirally 🌀 as the zariman patterns. There’s also some concept art of thrax being more purple/indigo and bronze in Duviri concept art which I mean who doesn’t want a purple faction in warframe right? But again that’s just concept art but I’d still like to see that come in game. And lastly the greyscale, a black and white video game landscape is something you don’t see a lot, colors are still present but are used as highlights. The emotion calm is the closest we get but it’s more sepia than anything.
  12. Combine open worlds, railjack and kuva liches as raids. By doing this we’ll bridge several islands of content together. In the gameplay we’ll see things like us going up from open worlds into railjack and back again, the final battles would take place on the respective factions open world after getting chased out of orbit and could give standing when defeated. Kuva liches will serve as the raid bosses so raids feel much more distinct each time they’re ran, of course the kuva lich system would have to undergo significant changes but i think it’d be worth it, if y’all have any ideas I’d like to hear what you have to say. Railjack segment is there mostly for fun because I think striking down onto the open worlds with orbital strikes and disabling/enabling shield projectors from the ground would be epic especially while working with a team.
  13. I know, the original duviri just looked so cool I think it should come back some how I especially don’t want duviri to be a content island and I think this would be a good way to fix its isolation and it actually was shown to be implemented in game by a tweet Steve made but it never came to the final build :(
  14. When the duviri trailer was first released back in 2019 it appeared nothing like what we got in 2023 when duviri released. It appeared alien, otherworldly, ethereal, grimdark, and grayscale. Though the duviri we got was still fun and interesting, the original aesthetic is something I am craving and I’m sure many other people are too. Whispers in the walls gives us a good look into the wider void landscape it has a vibe showing that there’s a lot more alien stuff out there that we haven’t seen yet. That’s why I propose a solution: give us a duviri tileset in grayscale, one that has a vibe of being neither inside of something nor outside almost like an giant vivarium in a garden, with an open-ish landscape with circular fractal patterns as terraces, Similar to the ones seen in the original duviri trailer, appearing as massive holes in the ground, and a hill in the background. We can achieve this in the story by the man in the wall reconstructing a new duvirian landscape from the lost isles getting corrupted in the process. He thrusts it out somewhere perhaps in the origin system(but with black pin stars in outer space), the murmur landscape, or granums void. He makes a portal allowing duvirians to resettle it, but Wally has ulterior motives. . . TLDR; I want an open word feel in a tileset, that looks like the 2019 Duviri trailer
