  1. Currently if you jump as an Operator/Drifter and then perform a melee attack while aiming at the ground, you will only ever get an air attack. The only ways to perform a slam is if you jump from higher terrain to lower terrain than where you started, or you must Void Sling to a high enough position to have time to aim your camera all the way down again accurately enough to hit the desired enemy on the ground. The Void Sling option might have been more doable if the Operator/Drifter had a way to "fall with style" similar to Aim Gliding but as of now they currently have no option other than to Void Sling again or fall at normal velocity. This makes changing your camera angle the required 105-175 degrees to pull off the desired technique unreasonable in my opinion (at least on a controller with the sensitivity set to 30). The reason this is an issue is because of Naramon's Opening Slam ability which highly incentivizes performing a Slam to begin melee combat. I have no idea the best way to resolve this but I came up with a few ideas while trying to figure out a way to perform the technique so I didn't have to post about it: Have all aerial melee inputs while in Operator/Drifter mode result in a ground slam. (This probably has issues I haven't foreseen but there it is.) Decrease the vertical threshold for triggering a Slam while in Operator/Drifter mode to match the current maximum height that the player can achieve. (The issue with this is I have no idea if it can be adjusted separately from the Warframe's own.) Increase the base jumping height for Operators/Drifters to be able to perform the technique on a flat plane. (I'd assume this is the most reasonable as clearly they have their own jump height separate from Warframes and I can't imagine a highly restrictive reason why it couldn't be moderately increased to accommodate the skill we've been given. Give Naramon a different skill in that position on the Focus tree that does not rely on performing a Slam. (Probably the most offense suggestion as I'm sure someone, or even a group of people, honestly thought/still thinks it's a good skill. I also think it'd be pretty cool... if I could actually do it.) *Edited for grammar.
