  1. In essentially every aspect of gameplay I can easily play Valkyr without depending on invincibility... Now with melee mods affecting her ult I can actually use her ult for damage now which is nice.

The only thing I'm curious about if they altered the godmode is what would happen to Valkyr's position as being one of the most reliable revivers in the game? I suppose I could use Paralysis and hope the CC is long enough to get the revive off, maybe with the Paralysis augment it would be. Could try and tank the enemy hits with Warcry but that doesn't rly work in super high level.

If Hysteria was no longer an option to help her revive teammates, even Banshee would become a better reviver than her.

  2. Because people are babies.

I offer low purchase amount, accept it or don't.

If you won't sell it low, then I'll find someone else.

I didn't shatter anyone's Bill of Rights just because I'm trying to make a deal for myself.

If the seller is going to start punching his monitor or whatever over my proposed price, that's their choice, not a problem of mine.

Business is no place for emotion, which is why I treat everyone (in Warframe trading) like a vending machine and use the exact same phrases for limited conversation.

  3. Yeah... Idk why people go crazy over Vacuum... I don't give a damn about picking up items, I'm not that incompetent with movement that I'm actually thrown out of combat just trying to pick up items...

I'd pick invis like a Huras Kubrow any day just because of how helpful it is to pretty much stay invisible as long as you want in a fight (because Huras's invis detection range is massive compared to Shade's), which is really nice for offensive Warframes because you can just spam spells while invisible; or giving you a very helpful tactical advantage of deciding when to engage the enemy or not, pretty much at will.

I used to think Vacuum was okay... but when they expanded everyone's natural pickup radius in what... U14? or U15? that's when I definitely felt like Vacuum is useless.

Whenever I see someone say how out of the way they have to go to pick up loot in the middle of combat, I can't help but think of "can't chew gum and walk at the same time."

  4. I wanna see a Jedi or any number of Jedi try to stop a single Limbo with a Dread, as the Limbo just walks up to each Jedi while in the Rift, Banishing each Jedi one by one, following up with an insta-kill Dread shot.

(And the Banish will knock down the Jedi so he can't get in position to block the arrow)

  5. Yes! Definitely support one of my most needed resources spawning in more than just one planet.

Are Neural Sensors the only resource out of all the resources that come from planets that is found on only one planet?!

I really don't like going out of my way to play a low level planet like Jupiter just for Neural Sensors. It's nice when an event-type mission takes me there (Syndicate, alert, invasion, etc), or I run into a Simaris target so I can multitask.

But when all I do is grind my salad, or endlessly do Defense or Interception, gah getting Neural Sensors is so boring.

  6. Hah, I like the follow up rant that if they're going to do this to Multishot to improve mod diversity they should just remove Serration and things like that.

Watching the entire community light up into the biggest wildfire on the internet with the loss of Serration would be hilarious - yet give it a few months then the community will forget and will have adapted to the new situation.

I think I'd have fun actually seeing Lv 60 become a threat again.

  7. Aside from word choice - because that's not important... because using words to argue about word choice rather than the topic is circular... Sounds like the OP wants the shotgun to be weaker.

I think the shotgun is in a great place as is and should remain that way.

There is a massive variety of weapons in the game, many of them allow you to one shot enemies in certain parts of the game: a modded Braton can one shot enemies on Mercury, a modded Boltor Prime can one shot enemies from Mercury and probably all the way to Uranus, a modded Dread can one shot all enemies on every planet and will keep one shotting up to a certain point in deep endless missions.

The same applies to the Tigris: it will keep one shotting up to a certain point, I don't know what a fully modded Tigris is like but I'm going to assume it will keep one shotting for longer deep in an endless mission than a Dread or Vectis will.

That is the trade off and choice people make, they want to keep that single-shot power longer than a Dread or Vectis provides for them.

If you are so keen on nerfing/toning-down/scaling-down/weakening the (Sancti) Tigris because it's too ridiculous for "reasonable" content, and this same philosophy should be applied to all other powerful-single-shot weapons like Bows, then 1) we're back to where we were before the Shotgun buff, and 2) what makes Bows and Shotguns different from Rifles, and we're back to Rifles reigning indisputably supreme.

Before the Shotgun buff, Rifles did everything Shotguns could but were more versatile, with their range, fire rate, etc. Before the Shotgun buff, shotguns were so specific in their close range requirement, you might as well have used a melee weapon because at least you were tankier for using a melee weapon (Life Strike and Blocking). The alleviating of the damage falloff extended the Shotgun's range to a point where it now stands in a good place where it's long range enough to use it over a melee weapon but still shorter range than a Rifle.

  8. I don't really mind DE's money making strategies because I've played games whose companies were MUCH MUCH worse than DE.

I can tolerate DE easily because it paves the way for a good game with long shelf-life.

Imagine if people could farm every item in a new Prime Access in 1 day. Imagine if Serration, Redirection, Vitality, Primed Flow, and Primed Continuity could be maxed out without barely breaking past 100k credit costs.

In a couple of months Warframe would be a ghost town.

I like how Warframe is structured, because it's not crazy, but realistic enough to allow for a long lasting game that is still very popular.

  9. On the topic of Borderlands and Zer0... I want a cool fun (not necessarily useful or buff type) of mod that highlights enemy weakpoints when you zoom into your sniper rifle scope, or even have enemies get highlighted infrared style.

Sure enemies aren't complex enough to have unintuitive critical points, but idk, seeing cool red hexagons highlight over your enemies' heads sounds fun XD

  10. Hi guys,

So my brother is having CTDs with Warframe.

Every time we go into a mission everything goes fine for a while but the instant enemies spawn or the moment he sees enemies he crashes to desktop.

    Some notes:

    - This started happening ever since around 17.1.4 or 17.1.5.

    - Ever since he got Windows 10, Warframe has been crashing like this. I also have Windows 10, and I have the exact same computer as him and I'm playing fine.

    - He can play solo just fine, there has to be other players (I count as another player) to DC.

    - He can be in the Liset just fine, only happens when he enters missions with other people present.

    - Crash happens whether he joins an in progress mission or starts a mission with a squad.

    - There is no warning message when he crashes, it just closes as if willingly; and DE's crash report box doesn't even show up.

    - Me and him are set to different ports like we always have been and things worked normally back then.

    - His graphics drivers are updated (for Windows 10) just like mine.

    - His firewall is updated (for Windows 10) just like mine, and his firewall is allowing Warframe access to the internet.

    - He has not tried uninstalling and reinstalling Warframe, but he's about to try that now.

    - We're also on the same home network but that's never been a problem.

Anyone have any tips for figuring out and solving the problem or familiar with what I'm talking about?

    Thanks.

  11. I rely on Health over Shields on all my frames - except for the ones with very little armor and no reliable instant self-saving mechanism - because with Life Strike, I can regenerate Health back faster than I can regenerate Shields (unless I'm someone like Trinity, Mag, or Volt), and combine health damage with Rage to feed energy.

Shields cannot be manipulated in anyway to feed energy, and Health can be restored very quickly with Life Strike while Shields do not have any such option. Those are my reasons for preferring Health over Shields.

  12. I know the Armor stat doesn't affect shields, but does anyone know how much inherent armor Warframe shields have?

The reason I think they have some inherent armor value is because Warframes of differing armor values have health bars that can be both tankier or squishier than shields. Warframes with high armor like Chroma and Valkyr, their Health most likely drops slower than shields; while squishier Frames like Banshee probably won't notice the difference between having 300 health and 50 health, but their shields will last a fair amount.

To me it feels like shields inherently have 50 or 65 armor or something like that, equal to the armor of a Warframe with average Armor, like Mag or Loki.

Anyone know how much armor shields have? I can't find anything on the Wiki about it.

  13. I want to see Ember get a proper buff or rework, whichever is fitting.

Aesthetically, World on Fire is a real peeve for me because they just got rid of the World on Fire cast animation and slapped on the Fireblast animation.

If it was to speed it up, why not just use World on Fire's animation and make it faster. It just looks weird that Ember does a little fist pound not really befitting an ultimate (let alone a massive fire explosion like the actual Fireblast is), and the sound doesn't even sync up with the fist itself because they're using a bandaid animation or something.

I really want to see Ember hit a place where squads can actually say:

"Hmm, what does our team need for this hard mission?"

    "Oh, what about Ember?"

    "Yes!"

Or at least put her in a better place like similar to Saryn... Saryn's a solid damage frame due to her Corrosive ultimate. Saryn isn't OP but she isn't bad either. I'd like to see Ember hit at least that level of competency.

At this point whenever I play Ember (which is tied with Zephyr for being my most used frame), I constantly have the thought in the back of my head of: My desire to play at my best clashes with my desire to play a Frame I like (and by best I include bringing the best equipment to a worthy mission, which includes Frame choice)

Heck, even the "balanced offense:defense Excalibur" can output insane 50k Exalted Waves.

  14. Realistic: two augments for Equinox's Metamorphosis

    - Solar Eclipse: for 10 seconds after changing to Night Form, Rest, Pacify, and Mend also cast Rage, Provoke, and Maim.

    - Lunar Eclipse: for 10 seconds after changing to Day Form, Rage, Provoke, and Maim also cast Rest, Pacify, and Mend.

Using one of the augments prevents use of the opposite.

Unrealistic: Shadows of the Dead can now summon killed bosses, players killed in Conclave, and players killed by the Nekros who got Radiation procced on him from Void Laser Traps.
