  1. I hate needing to have to buy warframes and cool weapons and im not getting the platinum generator like a loser

     

    Supporting a game you play is not being a loser. Freeloading on a game when you have the ability to support it is.

    I'm sorry, but dropping $250 in the game does not make you special or any different than any F2P gamer. Only because we cannot afford to put money in the game does not mean we're worse, or something.

     

    You don't know if was just confused. You're identifying yourself with him which is probably a bad idea because you don't know the guy. He's not you and he (the OP) didn't reply back to say he was just confused.

    Hating on the people who drop $100 into the game to make sure you're able to play it is not good form... at all.

     

    Finally, you don't know if you may end up being one of those "Masters" or "Grandmasters" if you had extra cash. You just generalized a who group of people and hated on yourself.

  2. Seriously. There are only 53. Devs should probably make 53 more because all the current weapons we have work perfectly and are perfectly balanced and we have enough customization options for the ones we have....

     

    So yea. Let's add plasma weapons and more melee weapons into the mix, because we don't have enough as it is.

    Seriously though. We have 53 weapons. They need to be fixed and deeper customizations should be made. We don't need to be begging the devs for new weapons, we need to be begging them for customizations: ie the ability for us to fuse two weapons together, add/subtract stats, fixing critical hits, perfecting prestige, etc.

     

    Everytime I see somebody post "ME WANT!!!" at a new weapon instead of asking for customizations and fixes I do a face palm.

    apparently it only triggers when you sprint.

     

    This makes it all better. "Hey it's all good. Just stop in the middle of mob you're sprinting around so hopefully your pistols will reload."

     

    Or How about: "Oh you're the funny guy who thinks you'll have max ammo reload? Let's just make sure you NEVER reload again."

     

    On a non sacastic note.... I get the error too and it seems to come at the most inconvenient times. I feel for you man...... and I laughed long and hard when I read the post title.

  4. In the last livestream (or the one before that) the devs mentioned Excalibur is the base for ALL warframes. I think Steve said this. Then they add whatever makes each frame unique after that. 

     

    They will also be making gender changes eventually for all frames. We don't know if they will be free options or we need to buy changes.

     

    There are 5 livestreams out so far. They're any hour each. I'd recommend playing them in the background while playing the game to listen to updates and in progress work.

    Melee Charge AttacksEdit
    Attacks from a melee weapon using its charge attack generally ignores the armor values of the enemies they are used against. This feature allows the weapon to deal a consistent 100% charge damage for body hits and 200% charge damage for head hits where applicable. Elemental mods and critical hits will be based on full charge damage, making them quite powerful. Sometimes additional damage adjustments to a weapon's charge damage are made based on a weapon's type as noted in the following section.
     

     

     

    Awesome thank you. I was just playing mobile defense on Ceres. I removed the melee damage and armor piercing mods on my Glaive and was doing 300 charge damage to armored Grineer.

  6. Wow what jerks. The sarcasm was not funny, it was really insulting to this guy. 

     

    I actually learned (and confirmed) some things on the glaive and melee weapons here. Thank you Desauron. You were being helpful and didn't even realize it.

  7. Simple idea that I think would help make each frame "special".

     

    Problem:

    1) As it is it doesn't matter what weapon you use with each frame. This means the only variety of gameplay you receive when switching frames is the abilities one may use.

    2) Frames aren't special in themselves and a lot of abilities *cough* Ash *cough* are buggy as it is. 

    3) Mag.... a very small frame... is able to easily wield the same Scindo the Rhino frame is able to. Ash, the ninja frame, benefits from Paris just as easily as Banshee does. Excalibur easily wields a giant hammer or dark dagger just the same.

    Hopefully you notice how balance doesn't seem to make sense with our weapon setup...

     

    Solution: Give a small buff to a special weapon(s) depending on frame.

     

    Examples:

     

    1) BansheeParis should receive a draw buff to load and charge arrows faster.

    2) RhinoHeavy Weapons should receive a swing speed and/or damage buff

    3) NixAKLato/AKBolto receives a fire rate buff. Firing two pistols requires a lot of concentration. A mental frame using dual pistols easier would make sense. 

    4) AshDagger/Piercing should receive a damage buff.

    5) Mag - Should receive a buff on the Glaive. It's thrown and she would logically be able to attract it towards her faster = more damage or faster return time on the glaive

    6) Excalibur - Should receive a damage and/or swing speed buff to slashing type weapons. It's name is Excalibur.... this just makes sense. 

    7) Ember - Machine pistol buff. Maybe in the form of ammo max boost . She's picture with them in the wiki... just connecting the dots. 

    8) Frost - Buff on Axe weapons (Dual Zoren and/or Scindo). Buff would be Elemental?

    9) Loki - Buff on shotguns. (Invis close to attack, when invis wears off he's close range killer)?

    10) Saryn - Swing speed buff on dual swords. This would work well with her contagion ability.

    11) Volt - Damage buff on snipetron.

    12) Trinity - Buff on staff type weapons.

     

    Result: I feel this would create more incentive to play a particular frame and to expand into different play styles and weapons.

     

    Please comment with your ideas.

  8. The atmosphere for Infested maps are well suited, but the infested themselves look slightly cartoon-ish. Making them appear scarier could go a long way (I know that is very vague -- but its hard to pin what is scary for everyone.) 

     

    One thing I would change about infested maps though, is any time you're on a ship with an intercom it would be creepy if instead of the voice coming on it was just soft static.

     

    So occasionally you'd hear the intercom *Ding* then hear soft static while wading through a derelict ship instead of warnings about guard rail safety. Maybe there could even be a may-day call out on a ship that has been infested that comes over the intercom.

     

     

    That's a great idea. 

     

    Would be equally unnerving is Lotus's directives got cut out / washed with static. 

     

    +2 The Audio needs more atmosphere.

     

     

    I used to think the "meat moss" actually did something in infested missions so I would avoid walking through it. Now that I know it does absolutely nothing I don't even think about it anymore. It would be good if the moss would slow you down and/or hurt you.

  9. If you noticed, you received a bunch of different answers here. That's because the weapons are (mostly) properly balanced and it all depends on your play style. The only weapon that's probably not properly balanced is the Hek (again). Hek needs to get renerfed. Last update a lot of people caused a stink because their Hek was "useless" and developers caved and made it a sniping shotgun again. I actually didn't think the shotgun was nerfed.... just thought it was turned into a normal gun.....

     

    Anyway:

     

    Braton is a workhorse full auto. Use short burts to not waste ammo at low levels. This was my first gun after MK-1

     

    Latron is a good/accurate semi-auto. Go for headshots and serration mod.

     

    Strun is a good, solid shotgun with high damage. I liked it. This was my second gun... Good for shot range damage on infested missions.

     

    Paris is good but you need speed trigger and fast hands mods to appreciate the damage it dishes out at full draw/charge. Plus if you do a lot of infested missions you have the chance of scoring the Thunderbolt mod.

     

    Have not tried Boltor or Gorgon so I can't comment to them.

  10. It used to be that you weren't invulnerable during blade storm and could die.  Was hillarious to die as you cast it then watch your dead body teleporting around behind people and watching them suddenly die, even if it makes it harder for your team to revive you.

     

    Yep, that's what happened. I was like "What the..... oh well. They dead too."

As someone pointed out to me, that long animation is actually useful in that you are totally invulnerable while it is ongoing and you also regen stam and shields.  I have to admit that I am not personally sold on those advantages outweighing instant, simultanous damage on all mobs in a given area like Volt, Mag, Banshee, Frost, etc but it is a unique mechanic/advantage.  Also you have the teleport effect which allows you to target mobs across a gap if need be. 

     

    Anyway, I started using Bladestorm alot more and in all actuality, it isn't a bad skill overall.

     

    Shirken and teleport need lots of help though.  Shirken needs to be either a line or cone effect AoE similar to Frost wave or Banshees 25 point skill and I wish they would just make teleport actually teleport you anywhere rather than require a target.  It would be nice to have it just be a short range movement skill I could use to clear gaps or reach platforms above or below me.

     

    Being invulnerable for that time has saved my butt more times than I could remember to restore my shields. I did die once during bladestorm though. Probably had a bomb attached to me though.

  12. And what about doing Ash's blade storm a bit more interesting? In order to get rid of that awkward, long, buggy and boring animation, Ash could make something like copies of him, killing those 13 enemies in the radius. In no time. In animation, you would see only your assassination of the enemy you originally targeted, and you would be able to move your camera to see whats going around ( to see your coppies killing the rest of the 13).

     

    That's a good idea if it could be made to work right. I'd still keep the remote targeting and the number of kills. I would not change to a AoE attack (circle area like other aoe's) but keep it as a random metered attack the way it is. The only guaranteed target being the first one with the others randomized.

  13. Bladestorm-

    1) Ash disappears, camera zooms out, ash appears near/behind ALL enemies in the target area in quick succession (smoke/afterimages linger for a second) -quickly- slashing at all of them, effect/attacks spread out from the center. AoE centered on Ash, rather than on an enemy.  

    2) Ash disappears, camera zooms out, very large shuriken(s?) are thrown at all enemies in the target area from numerous clouds of smoke.

    3) Ash disappears and reappears behind all enemies in the target area, simultaneously hitting all of them.

     

    Bladestorm is the one attack not broken. Yes it's a little glitchy, but it's much more functional than Ash's other skills.

  14. I never really played Ash because of his Shuriken. I tried him (I play with a lot of lag/low frames) and i feel like his Shuriken is difficult to aim coupled with it doesn't do THAT much damage. Maybe it's me?

  15. I have seen a couple of people who use Ash and blade storm was far from very slow.

    May as well have been Miasma but a was also able to take your kills over the other side of the room.

     

    I actually don't think blade storm is slow. I think if we're supposed to be able to hit 13 enemies, and there is a mob of 25 infested, I shouldn't only hit 4-5 of those infested
