The problem I have with just slapping hit multiple targets on long swords is then you have three out of four melee weapon groups (not including the thrown) that are able to hit multiple targets. So then people will want daggers to be just as viable so let's slap that on them too. Now you have little room for diversity. I'd rather see something more unique that sets them apart from the others.

The trick for getting what you want is to play the game. Not rely on RNG log in rewards.

Yeah me too. I want to opt out of coupons, ammo boxes, XP, credits, and weapon/frame blueprints. All I want are formas, and potatoes.
Edit: Oh yeah and keys. I want keys too.

I don't see what the problem is, my Sniper holds 210 spare ammo and I get 20 from pickups.

100 armor ignoring base damage, and 20% base crit chance. I'm quite satisfied.

It's not necessarily Vauban. His skills can ruin the flow of some one else's play style, but from what I noticed in maps like Xini people are number @#&*(s. Especially people who play AOE DPS frames like Saryn. You can see this by them camping the doorway to kill all that spawn with one ult before anyone else who is DEFENDING the pod on a DEFENSE map.

But there is the possibility of getting all three blueprints in only 3 runs. It's more likely than you would think. I think it was when I was farming for Mag I got a blueprint on the first run, then nothing on the second, then another blueprint on the third, and then nothing on the forth, and then on the fifth I got the last blueprint I needed. Competitive... casual... Makes no difference. Imagine an Ash jumping in with stealth, and then Blade Storming all the players down. This really doesn't need to be discussed, as Warframe is a PVE game, and despite the thousands of requests to put more PVP in DE will not do so.Except this isn't competitive pvp, it's a player roleplaying as a boss. The only thing that will possibly need to be balanced is stalker's abilities/weapons/stats. Player abilities and weapons won't need any changes.

Willing... forced... Makes no difference. Any PVP outside of duels will call for balancing of frame powers, and that will ruin Warframe. No thank you.

Why are you using the lanka other than master points, all sniper weapons in game are outgunned by the latron?
Latron 1-shots everything has huge ammo reserves, faster reload, can be just like a sniper rifle with zoom mod, turns into a machine gun with left click spam. Just curious?

I think what they should do is work on the block mechanic, and then make long swords excel at blocking.

Depends how good looking it is. I would get it anyways just for mastery rank, but for polarizing I may, or may not.

The sad fact is snipers just aren't the most effective choice in this game. The Vulkar is only good in the sense that it encourages people learning how to aim for the weak points (and you still do sub-par damage).
At the current state of the game a 25k braton will outperform most guns as a "ready to go" weapon (essentially just change element to match what you're fighting and the rest of your build is mindless).
IMHO a fully maxed out sniper should be on par with how the Ogris can gib whole clusters of enemies (but do it with like 5m puncture)

Use your sidearm. I mostly use sniper type weapons, and yes I can run out of sniper ammo, but that's what my pistols are for.

I mostly use Rhino in Xini, and all I do is stand in one spot swinging my hammer at anything that moves while making sure I have iron skin up at all times.
The only truly must have mod for rhino is steel fiber. That is if you are going to frequently use iron skin.

Miasma can only carry you so far. Chaos never loses it's usefulness.
But besides that it's up to your preference. What ever your play style is like.
Saryn is more of direct damage, as where Nyx likes to make her enemies do damage for her.
