  1. It is when someone logs in on Canada day to be greeted with an american flag. I know plenty of people who did not enjoy the pallet because it was an american flag. Imagine if they gave an Canadian flag out on fourth of july. X_X .

Pallet was fine just....wish it was our flag. Atleast they mentioned Canada this year. Last year they said they where taking the day off for Canada day but then only celebrated the 4th on warframe .

Maybe next year Canada will get a flag pallet...filled with only .......two colors.....ehhh maybe a sigil then.

HECK YEAH! I'm not Canadian, but I'd wear a maple leaf for variety. :)

  2. While I will admit to using coptering if I'm in the mood, it cracks me up that the "rushers" are going to flip out now that it's being taken out. Also helps balance out for the people who *@##$ non-stop about the way other people play, including those who whine constantly about camping who've gotten frames nerfed in fairly bad ways that made them worse in general. (Even outside of camping/Draco/etc.) :)

  3. I think it's a change, I never really used GP in the first place so I can't say whether it is good or bad but it seems a bit questionable to remove the team based aspect of a power in a co op game.

Yeah, they could've made it somehow optional, so players that didn't want to be affected by GP wouldn't be, but the rest could benefit from GP if they wanted to.

In the same vein, they should hurry up and make Trinity's Blessing and Energy Vampire only work solo instead of partywide to remove her usefulness in farming. Wonder how long until the whiners' next period is... Angst and PMS to nerf Trinity incoming. ;)

  4. If I'm doing a farm of some sort, at least Trinities are easier to find at the drop of a hat than GP Mags. All this does is make it so we have to run around for loot again, and if I'm building a custom squad (for a particular farm, Draco or otherwise) to NOT invite anyone bringing along a Mag. As I'm sure lots of people will do. So for those who like to main Mag and were annoyed at being asked to Greedy Pull, I'm sure they will be relieved that they won't be asked to do so... Of course, that also most likely means that if they're not in a public match, there's a good chance that a lot of people won't ask them along at all. :)

Oh yeah, and one great use for GP was when the game spawns loot that falls off the world. How about you fix that problem too, DE? Been around a LOT longer than this GP "problem" and seems like a simple check to move loot that is in invalid locations to the nearest accessible valid location.

  5. So with these login server outages occurring more frequently of late, it reminded me that I had a suggestion. "Login failed. Check your info.," is a good blanket dialogue box which basically tells, "Something is wrong and it might be your fault." but it also spurs many people to change their password when that's not the problem.

Might be cool to have something DE-side that checks whether the login servers/etc. are up, the route from the provider's gateway to the server itself is intact and whether or not the server is responding in an expected manner (i.e. does a test login every once in a while)... If there is a problem then the dialogue box could say something other than, "Login failed. Check your info." Perhaps, "There is a problem with the login servers. You may panic now." Or something like this:

Edit: Hmmm, either I did the video embed incorrectly, is currently disabled or IP.Board is effed up and isn't handling the BBCode correctly. Probably the last thing, I'll bet.

  6. Rng doesn't create the reward pools... It selects from reward pool...

RNG doesn't select from the reward pool. It just generates a psuedo-random number when called by whatever subroutines they have in place to generate drops/rewards which then looks up in a reward table what reward the "random" number matches with. See? I can do it too. :)

Look at the bright side, at-least you didn't get only forma.

    That is what he meant.

    Thank you. :)

  7. We had four of us, all looking. While being mauled by infested, and every single one of us found ourselves stuck in dead end rooms time. after time. after effing time. Yes I'm mad, because nothing should be that hard for FOUR DIFFERENT PEOPLE to navigate.

I was amused on that one Prime Time where Megan was "lost" and getting frustrated with a similar room on the Grineer Earth tileset with the minimap being completely useless.

  8. Thanks for the report, we will investigate.

Entering menus, such as Navigation UI in Liset will also interrupt anyone talking, Ordis, Lotus, etc...and they'll start talking from the beginning of their monologue. So if you're flying through the menus checking for stuff it'll be like...

Ordis: Opera...Op...Operator...Operator...Op....O...Operator, I thought the Orbiter compartment was larger than this...

Or whatever. Sort of like an extra annoying version of a Max Headroom impression.

  9. So, the other day, was running the Tubemen event, trying to get in the last of my runs in the particular conflict...

And we get spawned in a Derelict tileset...with the portal device and Orokin caches...

I didn't get a screengrab of any of the mobs...but they were level 9999. I did get a capture of the console health, which should give an idea of the relative level. Maybe Tower M Sab Alad and Nef's special bonus key? Console had 40,182,960+ health alone.

While amusing, it was a waste of time... What exactly causes this glitch?

  10. Hmmm, so I started running verifier since I had a time where I could allow my computer to crash itself a bunch, and left the settings stock, which means it includes all of the Microsoft Windows drivers... I mean, what harm could there be from stressing out the drivers from Microsoft itself, right? They obviously do testing on their own drivers, right? Haha, wishful thinking. All of the crashes from that test run were from drivers written by Microsoft belonging to the operating system itself. And the crashes were practically immediate. So I eventually had to boot into safe mode to disable verifier, since the OS would crash too fast if I booted into normal mode.

I'll have to find another time to run verifier again, this time with only the non-Microsoft drivers selected in the driver stress test.

  11. At this point I want to say there's a driver in there somewhere that's not playing nice. You could try to reinstall the nvidia drivers, but I don't have much hope for that will work if you've done it recently.

A much more complicated investigation would be to run Driver Verifier (verifier.exe) and allow it to crash your computer multiple times; those minidumps will hopefully reveal the bogus driver behind this all.

Alrighty, I'll give verifier.exe a go as soon as I have a little bit of time to allow it to crash my computer.

  12. The one error suggests there is miscommunition between the processor's kernal and the video driver's texture handling. Something might not be getting sent though properly. Maybe there is a local setting blocking the memory reading, or resource being called is not able be read from both references. Other situations with a similar error log have been blamed on antivirus software making drivers time out on newer systems. Are you using Kaspersky? That antivirus was pegged as a possible culprit in one of Microsoft technet's similar user issues.

    Yo. I'm using Norton.

That's where things can get tricky, as the antivirus software's job is to hang out in the OS and watch all the files coming and going; it commonly gets accused for basically being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Sometimes it can be the cause though.

Most of the memory dumps are complaining about your nvidia driver, which appears to be up to date (to be positive, you could attempt a clean uninstall/reinstall). This dump is interesting though, because it's complaining about your network driver. You should make sure your network driver is up to date, and as a previous user suggested, try disabling your antivirus temporarily to see if it's interfering.

Yeah, almost all of the past crash dump analyses involve the nVidia drivers. The ndis.sys thing appears to be relatively new. Dunno what's up with that. Network driver is up-to-date. The mobo is an MSI X99S Gaming 7 board...network driver is for "Killer Network" v 1.1.50.1073. I can try another clean reinstall with the nVidia drivers. It was actually one of the things I attempted in the past because of a different problem I had. (I'd get a random split second glitch in which all the screens would show some random lines of color up near the top of a black screen then return to normal. nVidia and other sites suggested that Microsoft Update messes some stuff up and installs its own version of the display driver alongside the nVidia one, so I did an uninstall and clean reinstall as per the website's suggestions, which got rid of the glitch.) I can try the reinstall process again if you think second time would be the charm. And I can try disabling the antivirus when I play.

  13. Thats an interesting idea to have additional kubrow support ideas drop from drakh masters. I like it. However i feel that these drops would have to be extremely rare in order for it to balance out

I think I would rather have the Kubrow to be able to move arohnd the Liset/Orbiter first though

Yeah, I was thinking that they should be rare drops, of course. It'd be sorta dumb if all of a sudden we're swimming in stabilizers... Would defeat the purpose of implementing them in the first place.

Could be something like: Stabilizers/Toys are rare drops. Treats are uncommon.

And I think that the Kubrow being able to move around the Liset (which was briefly available, sorta, if you could call it that) could come bundled with the additional drops, if they're going to eventually re-release that functionality.

  14. Random thought I had. Probably been suggested before...but Drakh Masters have their Drakh minions they summon... Which I'm guessing are Grineer versions of modified Kubrow. So why not add to their drop tables things they'd likely have on them...

i.e. DNA Stabilizers... Our Kubrow love their drugs...but they have a hard time finding Kubrow meth dealers, so they take what they can get...stabilizers. Kubrow: "wooofWOOF!" (Translation: "Hey man, c/mon, I'm jonesin' here... Just one more hit...that's all I need...y'know, to tide me over until next week...I'll pay you back after when I get paid.")

or...Drakh/Kubrow treats/training treats...feeding these will make your Drakh/Kubrow happier. If done on the Liset, maybe include an animation in which you make your Kubrow do a trick...

or...Drakh/Kubrow toys...you can use these to interact with your Kubrow in the Liset to make them happy, and to provide a little more interesting interaction animations that scratching your Kubrow behind the ear every time.

Be cute to have little Grineer and Corpus stuffed animals with squeakers...and our Kubrows can play with them...maybe at the end of the toy's "lifetime/duration" they could eviscerate the stuffed toy and rip out all of its guts, destroy the squeaker by turning it into a tooth-hole riddled twisted mass of shredded plastic...and then leave the shell of the toy where we kneel in front of the Navigation console as a gift.

  15. They just shouldn't be able to die.

Exactly. They should do what any self-respecting dog/kubrow would do in that situation... Help themselves to anything edible when their owner is away. Instead of starving, you could come back and find a random warframe missing from your Arsenal. Ordis could comment that <Kubrow name> was hungry, so it ate <Warframe name> while you were out.

Ordis: Operator, you really should feed Flufflebutt more... He got hungry and helped himself to your Frost. On the upside, Frost is such a fatass, Flufflebutt should be well fed for many weeks.
