  1. Hmm. It takes almost no time to kill any of the hit squads/hitmen that spawn, with the exception of the Wolf currently. What would be lame is if you were currently popping a life support unit and they teleport you mid-animation. Though I guess in that instance they'd probably just come up and kill you while you were stuck in the life support "animation"...

  2. It would be great if we could change the squad status on the fly. What I mean by this is, while loading into the mission as well as in the mission, we could change squad status between public/friends/invite/solo. There has been times when I've forgotten to switch from private to public and vice versa. Would be very convenient to be able to do this while there's downtime waiting for the mission to load.

This of course would require some tracking...

For instance, you can only change from public to friends/invite/solo IF:

    1) There is no-one else in the squad or,

    2) There was someone who left which should give them a few minutes to come back and allow for a conditional restriction...i.e. no new people can join, if the person crashed or disconnected, they can still rejoin the squad.

Changing from friends/invite/solo to public should be allowed IF:

    1) The mission objective hasn't been achieved.

Also, as a side note, it would be cool if disconnecting/crashing and rejoining a squad actually regenerated your loot drops. Aborting a mission immediately upon loading shouldn't count as a mission failure if you haven't even killed anything, etc.

  3. DE,

It would be nice if you gave us a consolation prize for failed captures like you do a boot for fishing...not for screwing up and letting the animal get away, but more along the lines of:

    1) When we switch to a weapon to kill an effin' annoying corpus that comes by and interrupts your hunt, then you forget to switch back to your tranq gun because you're annoyed that that was the 234325th time you've been interrupted during your hunt and end up frying the animal.

    2) When you accidentally do kick damage when you land next to a fallen tranqed animal/jump towards them and kill them...

    3) When your sentinel or companion decides that they want to rape and kill the sleeping animal...'cuz I guess that's what they do, or perhaps they look at the mini-map and see the red enemy arrow?

    4) When one of those effin' annoying corpus decide they want to AOE or shoot the tranqed animal 'cuz they feel like shooting at us.

    Suggestions:

1)It might be nice if you there was a method of conveniently use weapons or reuse a warframe skill like stealth, or whatever without having to switch out of tranq gun mode. (Applies to fishing and mining too)... Why can't we select the tranq gun/echo/lure or fishing spear/lure/dye by pressing 5, 6 and 7? y'know, so we can hit 1, 2, 3 and 4 for warframe skills?

    2) Additionally, it would be nice if we could just toggle the start point markers on the mini-map WITHOUT having to equip the tranq gun over and over...Perhaps there could be some method to "initiate" a "hunt mode."

    3) And perhaps clicking on the icon on the map could "waypoint" that particular start point so it's more convenient to locate.

    4) Also, switching to archwing shouldn't require us to re-equip the tranq gun if that was what was equipped before using archwing.

    5) And this new melee thing should return us to the tool we were using beforehand. Annoying to have to keep right clicking to revert to tranq gun or mining tool, etc.

    6) It's great that you give a highlighted view of the capture target when zooming in, but it gives me a headache when you strobe it on and off. Please choose one, perhaps we can get an option to choose highlight on or off.

    7) Also, highlight the animal once it's tranqed...It's often kind of hard to see the sleeping animals amongst the brush or in the dark. Maybe give them a unique icon on the mini-map that isn't an enemy marker.

😎 Maybe highlight the spoor too. There are some spoor that are in caves, etc. and are REALLY hard to see.

    9) Quit changing 8 and ) into a effin' smiley face with sunglasses.

    10) Some upgrades to the tranq rifle would be nice. More effective tranquilizer modes for Stovers. Silent mode. Etc. Or is this already a thing? I guess I should check into that.

    11) Quit making us select the echolure for the animal we are tracking. It is trivial to match up the text on the lure location/spoor/dialogue with Business/tracks we've been tracking...so why not just assume we're not stupid, give us the benefit of the doubt and select the correct lure at the echolure location? It gets tedious to always go into the lure selection wheel and pick the correct one for each hunt.

I'll add more as I think of them.

Maybe a compromise as I can see some people thinking they're needed to stop some people 'running off' on their own.

How about there is a timer added whereby if no one else triggers the other door it opens after 15-30 seconds from first press of the button.

Not sure if it's my imagination, but I kinda wanna say that I've waited around at a team door before and after the button press it eventually opened on its own.

  5. I really hope this gets fixed because it's kind of a little slap-in-the-face bug which assures you cannot retrieve all of the syndicate medallions from a mission. The bug I'm referring to is: Occasionally when the player spawns into the map, there will be a medallion spawned at their feet. This medallion is ALWAYS non-interactable. Which means you can only get a total of n-1 medallions. It's even more of a slap-in-the-face when the type of medallion is one that's higher than the base level medallion....sparkling there at your feet saying to the player... "Neener neener neener, you can't touch me." Not game breaking or anything, but it's kinda rubbing salt in the wound for those of us who collect the medallions and run syndicate missions often.

That, and please stop spawning syndicate medallions in locations our frames cannot fit. There's a location on the infested corpus tileset near a tram that slides back and forth near the wall that isn't interactable (at least the few times I've encountered the medallion there)... And other locations that you can see it but there's no way to get to it.

  6. I have to agree that open world "free roam" is kind of a free-for-all map where anything goes and there IS no real mission or map objectives. And what determines the map objective? Since the fracture event is going, should all "free roam" maps be doing that? One time I clicked on the event panel, I was dropped into a toroid farm. Should they be punished for doing that too? No. I could've left, but hell, free toroids? No obligation to do anything, though I did end up contributing for fun.

The issue here is that DE is NOT providing a selector for various purposes other than bounties and "free roam" to be in the Plains/Vallis. They should have a mode that specifies that the squad is there for events, toroid farming, even fishing/mining, etc. That way people can be matched up with people who are there for the same purpose. Another issue is that clicking on the fracture event listing in the navigation panel drops you into a "free roam" instance without indicating that that is what it is doing. So DE is tricking their players with the expectation that people in the squad they're being dumped into are actually doing the thermia fracture event.

  7. Oh also, I'd say if someone is just mopping up mobs all over the place or nuking the map, it's not really kill stealing. If someone is following you around and then jetting in front of you to kill stuff right as you're attacking it, then it is kill stealing...with one exception...on exterminate missions, there really isn't a choice since you're pretty much lead on a linear path towards extraction... And Lotus telling you what an idiot you are for not killing enough mobs when reaching extraction even though the red mini-map marker just sits there on top of extraction to taunt you...and then you have to head back from extraction towards spawn in random directions trying to find those last 50 mobs that didn't spawn and while you're doing that, the number left to kill creeps upwards and upwards...all from an issue that's been a problem since the inception of the game. 🙂

  8. Haha. If there's at least one tryhard in the party, I can either 1) tryhard or harder than them 2) bust open some containers, open some lockers or if on the plains/vallis, do a little mining/fishing if it's in affinity range. I'm usually stoked if there a tryhard in the squad so I can just chill out some. 🙂

  9. On the Plains of Eidolon and in Orb Vallis, it appears that players can drop these floating beacons that have a ring with some text on it, such as "Fortuna" or "Cetus"... They place what looks like user selectable icons on the mini-map/map. I was wondering if anyone knows the official name of this item and more importantly, can tell me how to get these items as they seem really convenient for marking points of interest.

  10. Now when you say "Sentients on Lua not spawning" do you mean "Sentients at Plato, Lua not spawning"?

I have yet to have a successful spawn message from Lotus on any other node than Plato. I think the wiki says they can spawn on any Lua tileset, but it seems the spawn rate for even getting the Lotus' message is more rare than getting a legendary core on any node other than Plato. A good percentage of the time, the Oculysts are nowhere to be found even on Plato... Not to mention that when you actually manage to get a successful Oculyst encounter, you may not get any Conculysts to spawn. Seems like the mob spawn rate is skewed towards spawning Battalysts. And on top of that the dismally low drop chance for Broken War parts from the already rare Conculysts makes this task really obnoxious.

I get that some tasks should be difficult to achieve in a f2p game, but this is just ridiculous. 🙂

Using Loki's switch teleport never even occurred to me. LOL.

Sadly we can't switch out frames mid-mission.

Yeah. It's convenient whenever the probe or prisoner gets stuck. It would be nice, yet way too OP if we could switch frames. Too bad we can't do an /unstuck on the objective. 🙂

If you play solo, the moment you see the waypoint over the ribs, you know you failed the bounty. Likewise you know you have failed the bounty if you get a liberate the camp mission in one of those spots where either reinforcements spawn both inside and ountside a cave or the ones where the capture score starts dropping like a rock even if there are no enemies in sight (i run Ivara with all possible enemy radar mods). How can these be still in the game? I bet they can see the places where people fail bounties the most.

This. Especially the liberate the camp/defend the camp event, since by the time you get out of the cave the meter's down to like >40% or so, and to top it off, barely any mobs spawn to kill, basically assuring you fail.

  13. Yeah, that's happened quite a few times on bounties I've been on. Luckily I usually main Loki and can switch teleport it to jostle it past whatever it's getting stuck on, etc. But yeah, it's an annoying bug that someone should fix.

Additionally, it'd be nice if they fix the defend the area "bug" in which little to no enemies spawn and you fail because you haven't killed enough things. Or the bug where it's kill enemies in the area and little to no enemies spawn and you run out of time and fail...

  14. Just wanted to leave a suggestion about something that's been annoying me for some time whilst using archwing.

I know it's cool and all to bank turns when we boost with our archwings, and sure, that's what things like planes do when turning. Now, what do planes do after turning one might ask? They certainly  don't fly around banked when they're flying on a straight path, at least not that I've ever seen. So why is it that after we finish turning with our archwings, we fly around off-kilter until we either 1) release the boost until we normalize or 2) manually adjust our banking using roll left/right controls?

DE, can you just please change it so that when we stop turning we just return to an angle parallel to horizon?

    Thanks.

  15. So there have been a number of things with matchmaking and missions I've noticed lately (#5 and #6 are most likely related to #1-4):

    1) I have been connecting to hosts that are much higher than my ping tolerance is set in options...Not even a situation where I connected and the connection deteriorated and became unplayable...these were 350-2500ms+ as soon as I connected...

    2) Many hosts I do connect to are laggy with issues like doors not opening and skills often being unusable...I've noticed this with both high and low latency hosts, but mostly with high latency hosts...

    3) Sometimes I end up loading in without anyone connecting, even during an event like an alert where there should be decent traffic. If I wait long enough people might connect...

    4) I have been dropped from squads a lot more often than before and placed into a squad by myself...

    5) I just ran a capture alert and after we completed the objective and were running towards extraction, I was dumped out of squad and after the loading screen, which I assume is a host migration (it didn't say it was host migrating like normal, just showed me the loading screen)...I was dumped into a wave 2 survival void fissure... Um, what?

    6) After I extracted from the void fissure mission, I went to do the capture alert again and I loaded in on a squad with 30 seconds left on extraction... Luckily I didn't need to do anything to get the rewards otherwise I would've been effed...

Additionally, have been running into a lot of buggy behavior like capture targets not being interactable, etc., though that's mostly on the Plains of Eidolon.

  16. Yeah, there should be a setting to "always host," "never host," and "use host election." That way people who have a decent computer and net connection and who are tired of getting stuck in missions with unreliable hosts can always host, people who know they're unreliable hosts and are a decent person can set this and always join another host, and then those that don't care can join whomever is available with the possibility of hosting themselves.
