  1. It is none if every piece of gear has the same lens.
For me: Not every gear has a lense and I dont want to forced to have it on every gear. 50:50 distribution is fine by me, but 25:75 is a little extreme.
As I know now how the new system works I can direct it better but it is still suboptimal in my view.

As I'm mostly running solo, shared affinity affects me personally not very much.

  2. I have to check for old screenshots, but it might be difficult to find a good one as I rarely leeched. Most of the times when I went to Draco for leveling warframes I took a low level warframe and my orthos and resulted many times with well over 50% of the kills unless there was a nuker present.

Think about the effects this has on the focus gained through shared affinity.

  3. When you extract while you have a convergence counter, you dont get any focus from that convergence boost

When: Always when extracting with an active convergence boost

How to reproduce: Run a mission, get a convergence, kill some stuff, extract before the timer runs out.

Im not sure what happens when the convergence runs out while you extract.

  4. When I scan a simaris target from a squad member, the game tells me that I gained a certain amount of simaris standing on screen.
But when I check the daily standing cap and the actual standing I have, I see that I didn't actually got any standing.

When: Always when scanning simaris target which is not my personal target.

How to reproduce: Get a squad member to activate the old (10 Scans) or the new (daily) simaris target, do a mission when the target spawns. Scan the target yourself or let your teammate scan it. It doesn't matter who scans.

  5. Affinity used to be shared equally over every equipped item. While the main character (Warframe & Weapons) and the companion had a separate affinity pool. Since the introduction of shared focus this has changed and I think its a bug and not intended. Now we have for character (Warframe & Weapons) two separate affinity pools. While the warframe always gets 25% of the shared affinity, the weapons get 75% of the affinity. No matter how many weapons are equipped. This makes leveling warframes, which already take more affinity, much harder.

Example: Teammates kills an enemy generating 1000 affinity

    Old System

Setup A: Warframe [250 xp], Primary [250 xp], Secondary [250 xp], Melee [250 xp]; Sentinel [500 xp], Sentinel Weapon [500 xp]
Setup B: Warframe [333 xp], Primary [333 xp], Secondary [333 xp]; Sentinel [1000 xp]
Setup C: Warframe [500 xp], Primary [500 xp]; Kubrow[1000 xp]

    New System

Setup A: Warframe [250 xp], Primary [250 xp], Secondary [250 xp], Melee [250 xp]; Sentinel [500 xp], Sentinel Weapon [500 xp]
Setup B: Warframe [250 xp], Primary [375 xp], Secondary [375 xp]; Sentinel [1000 xp]
Setup C: Warframe [250 xp], Primary [750 xp]; Kubrow [1000 xp]

With the new System we can't reduce the weapon count to prioritize the affinity gain on warframes.

  6. Small Question on the side:

    Why do you hate Solo-Playing:

    - Less Spawns

    - 1/4 of the affinity because you don't get affinity by sharing??

If you want that system to work you may change it to:

Base focus divided by the amounts of players:

This way it doesnt matter if youre playing solo or in a team. You still have to struggle with the lower spawn rate but nothing more.

  7. Before this Focus-Change (In my eyes a plane Focus Nerf) I could do any mission with my ember (the only baseline I have) and I normally got 1500-2000 Focus. Doing nothing special just complete the mission. With this change I get maybe 200-400 Focus if I don't backtrack and get Cenvergence (DE what .... is up with you, backtracking is the worst thing ever), if I do backtrack I'm glad to get around 1000 Focus.

So basically if I take longer time to finish a mission I get around 50% of the focus I got before.

Before the Change I really maxed out my daily cap every day. Now I dont even bother anymore, I got the basic focus I need and I can't be bothered with such a tedious system anymore. In the end I play around 1h less every day. So thx DE for freeing up 1h to do other stuff, I hope that was really what you wanted.

BTW: Since when is Warframe called Focusframe???

No other mechanic gets so much display presence than focus. First you get a ring that focus has been dropped with a very dominant marker on the map, placed that I have to backtrack or abandon my mission. If I dont get it I really feel bad on missing something.

Then you have 45s to get your S#&$ together because without this thing you have no freaking chance to get a decent amount of focus.

And the best thing comes last: A freaking dominant overlay with an annoying sound telling you you only have 5 seconds left to get some stuff, because in those 5 seconds you can change the world, thats why I have to be poked in the eye. This overlay stuff and sound is so annoying Im thinking of not collecting convergence to avoid those things.

BTW: Placing convergence so far away from the mission objective is the worst thing you could do.

We really didnt have enough problems with players spread out, leaving the objective (Defense, Mobile Defense, Excavation) open to enemies.

Even you motivate players to be hallway heroes even more: Getting focus and getting the most kills you can.

And again: You sell us players stuff promising something (I dont care that you call it beta, the moment you take our money you can't just nerf the hell out of stuff without enraging us). The difference between normal lenses and greater lenses is just a joke now. The base focus without convergence is just a joke.

Before this nerf I could max my focus mostly within my normal gameplay (around 3h a day) and a little hardcore focus farm in the end if I didn't max it out until then. Now I get around 25k focus playing 4h and you can't even hardcore farm it anymore.

Before you need around 350 days to get all the focus you need with the cap of 75k. At a rate of 25k a day guess how long it takes to max it out.

I consider myself a pretty intense player (clocking around 4-5h a day). Focus has become a unbeatable task for me: What is with players who do not play as much as I do????

It can't be that now this game is all about farming focus. This really destroys the fun aspects of this game and makes everything a grind now.

So please reconsider this change, it is really bad for the whole experience of the game.

    Im out.

      • Focus can now be earned through radial and shared Affinity gains rather than just personal kill Affinity Gains.
      • Convergence pickups work like Mods - there is a unique one for every player to grab! It's not 'first-come, first-serve'.
    • The daily Focus cap has been increased from 75k to 100k.

    Halleluja

    • Hacking terminals in Sortie Spy Missions will no longer trigger alarms when failed, giving only the damaging shock to the player.
    • Sorties will give 25 R5 Fusion Cores upon completion in addition to a prize from the Sortie Season from now until February 16th when Divine Will ends. Praise the Void!

    Much appreciated

    • Fixed some instances where using a zipline would take a greater priority over using other context actions such as reviving a player.

Thank you, that was bugging me a lot.

  8. What: If a player is still in the loading screen from the mission extraction (slow pc) and a teammate votes for a new mission before he is back in the liset. The slow loading player does not see the new mission vote.

When: Fast voting with slow pcs

Reproduce: team up a slow loading pc with a fast loading pc, complete a mission, fast loading pc select the new mission the moment he is back in the liset.

    temporary solution: start timer

  9. After certain conditions have been met, the void key gets consumed.

    - 5 min Survival

    - 5 Waves Defence

    - first mobile defence

    - first cache found or gate activated

    - capture objective caught

After these conditions have been met no new player can join the mission and the key is lost im the mission is aborted.

I know these mechanics have been implemented to restrict the duplication of void keys, but when the key is consumed it doesnt matter anymore.

Why can't you treat the mission like a normal public mission after this point?

So if either the host or the key giver leaves the mission the other player can continue to play the mission (host migration)

    - regular: Interception, defense

    - irregular: computer crashed, connection losses

Btw: It would be nice if every endless type mission would have the same mechanics as defense or interception, so not everyone has to quit the mission once 50% of the squad wants to leave.

Survival and Excavation mission suffer from this

  10. Some missions like Events or sorties have weapon restrictions like:

    - Sniper, shotgun, melee, pistol only

As these restriction bring a challenging twist to a mission (eg. Sniper only against infested or corpus...) I really hate that I have to unequip the other weapons to take part of those missions.

Couldn't you just deactivate the unallowed weapons as we enter the missions.

I know this system already exists in the game as I recently did the stealth mastery test where you can't use any ranged weapons or abilities.

If I dont have the specified weapon equippen I agree that I shouldnt be able to start the mission.

Maybe give us a popup to warn us that we only can use the sepecified weapon and not the others.

This change would make sorties a lot smoother.

  11. As for https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/328186-more-config-slots-for-warframes-and-weapons-needed/

Especially with the introduction of the Primed Bane mods I really would like to have more configs available

I really would like to use these mods, but what I really hate is changing my configs before I go into a mission.

If I would use the bane mods I have to change the mods everytime I go into the void, plan to fight the sentients or go with a full corrosive projection team and need viral damage.

Why cant we have more configs? As the title states I would appreciate 5-6 configs

    - Grineer

    - Corpus

    - Infested

    - Sentients (not that important)

    - Void

    - Viral

It would be great aswell if we could copy paste configs frome one weapon to another and from one config to another.

I would also appreciate if we could change the config from the arsenal overview so we don't have to go into every weapon we have equipped and change it there.

  12. What: Since Operation Shadow dept the UI-Overlay of mission & team relevant information is not showing, neither does it play the sounds.

When: Rescue missions, team mates bleed out, NPC defense bleeds out

When not: Low Life support still works

I previously wrote that I don't really care for social calls of Ordis, Lotus, Operator. It's really a distraction from the game. I really would like that being toggle off.

That said I really really like important messages like:

    - Team mate has fallen (not working now)

    - Rescue target has fallen (not working now)

    - NPC defense object has fallen (Sortie defense) (not working now)

    - Life support low

    - Suggestion: Include a message if the mobile defense and the defense objects get massive damage

I realized it in Operation Shadow debt, where Alad V used to die several times during one mission.

I can't say if I never heard him scream for help but he not always did.

Since then I didn't hear or see those messages once.

I once saw on the bottom right a message that the overlay video / sound file couldnt be played.

Sadly I didnt make a screen shot.

  13. finaly dakyu got that away it was rly annoying :D

Could you pls for the love of everything holy stop quoting the entire changelog?

Snip stuff you want to focus on.

    Quoting the changelog twice, really?

  14. When the greater lenses were released in the market I bought 3 pieces of every school.

I put them on every frame I saw reasonable at the moment. Mostly damage dealing frames, resp. high affinity gaining frames (like Loki & Ivara) and weapons I use a lot. As for now I don't have any use for more small lenses. Especially since I'm always short of Forma, I'd rather buy a greater lens for 40p than use up one of my built Formas (And to answer your question: I'm MR21 and used 360 Forma's until now. The only thing I still really like to do is MinMaxing Frames and Weapons. If DE would reduce the build time for Forma to 12h or better 11h then Forma would be a reasonable Resource)

As it is now lenses are just junk to me (I know other may see it differently than me). With the presence of greater lenses in the store you can get the most of 8p for a lense which makes them not even worth trading for 1 piece.

Maybe I'm the only one with that problem but I have severyl Primed mods which still need maxing out so I actually like the fusion cores, 25 seems a little low for the time you put into a sortie. 50 seem ok on the high side.

BTW: Once you have the Karak, Strun Wraith, Dera Vandal and Nezha thats just junk to sell aswell (especially when you got the stuff in the Event)

I would really like the option to select between 2 reward pool: Consumables and Non consumables

  15. Some Friends and me are running all Raids daily, while we use some plates as well.

The only common resource we all are short in is sadly NANOSPORES.

As an intense and quite veteran player the consumption of Nanospores has gotten quite large.

So maybe include Nanospores in missions which veteran players tend to play.

Orokin Derelict has really bad reward drop chances, so I dont see myself playing these missions unless i need Kamas or Trinity parts.

  16. With the release of the primed bane mods, a problem from building towards factions arises from new:

Until now I never used the faction mods, not because I think they are bad, more because I really don't like to move mods around for every mission.

We have 4 factions for a long time now, with the sentients a 5th has been added.

Why cant we have the same amounts of weapon configs as we have factions?

Personally I would like to have.

    1. Grineer

    2. Corpus

    3. Infested

    4. Corrupted

    5. Viral

Up until now I just took either the grineer (radiation) or the infested (corrosive) config for the void. Thats the reason why I never bothered with faction mods. For viral I just switched my corpus loadout, sometimes I forget to switch it back which leaves me weak.

Can we have additional Config tabs for our weapons? Personally I really would like to have 5, I would even pay plat for them.

On the same topic: would it be possible that we can switch the configs directly in the arsenal overview, so we dont have to go into every weapon to switch for other factions.

    Cheers

  17. "The Intruder Mod will now work on Grineer hacking puzzles by slowing the hacking spinner."

Now THIS is an interesting change to a game mechanic, I wish to see things similar to this more, mods actually affecting multiple things, but in different ways.

My Question is: Does it increase the timer for shocking us in Nightmare mode, because if it doesn't I imagine that the grineer hack become impossible to solve in sorties and LoR NM.

    • Improvements have been made help players rejoin a squad in Mission after a crash.

Would it be possible that we get Affinity, Standing, Focus and the loot we collected until the game crashed. It's really annoying to loose everything after a long mission.

And Btw. as the void keys of endless missions get consumed after some time, there is no reason to fail or abort a mission if either the host or the one who gave the key leaves the squad.

I can understand this restriction so we can't multiply keys by creating a squad and then the keygiver leaves the squad, gets his key back and the others play along, but once the has been consumed.

Why can't the others continue to play along if host or keygiver leaves the squad or disconnects. Especially we only know the Host and not who gave the key.

Additionally If I'm hosting and I give the key and then a host migrations occurs I lose all the rights of reinviting people who may couldn't join the session.

    • Health Orb respawn rate has been increased from 40 seconds to 120 in Conclave.

Sorry to be picky, but you increased the delay of the health orbs and you reduced the respawn rate to 33%.

You can't define rates in seconds, a rate is something per time. Something like spawn rate decreased from 1.5 per minute to 0.5 per minute.
