  1. BTW Im still annoyed about the Rhino nerf with the stomp duration being linked to duration.

    I accept that this makes more sense game mechanics wise, but for this to be a buff you need to rebalance some stuff with that change.

    - Increase Base Duration of Stomp

    - Make it recastable even if some enemies are in stasis

    - Increase the damage made by stomp and the health of iron skin for the loss of the strenght mod for the needed duration mod

     

    As it is now Rhino became just a bad nuker.

    coop is paying attention to your teammates, if they are down, if they need some CC-help, if they are reloading, if they need a health/shield/ammo/pwer plate

    coop is tenno vs. aliens

    coop is not 1-vs-all, not single-player

    coop is..

    uhm, well, right: don't feed the trolls..

     

     

     

    BTW DE could you please add an energy Bar to the health and shield bar of other teammates, that would really help playing coop with random players for supporter warframes.

  3. It seems that DE always fixes ‘problem’ when people find an easy way to do something. I’m wondering If the fix these things because THEY think it’s really bad to do stuff efficiently or if players are whining about, that there are too many GMags running around.

    If it is the whining players, why don’t you go and just don’t play with people using tactics you don’t like. You’re free to host any mission with a setup you like.

    If it is DE: At some point you defined which prime parts and mods are rare and which are common. That’s fine by me.

    You then realized that players were farming for specific parts they were missing on specific maps with specific setups to get the parts you made rare.

    You then decreased the spawn rate of certain parts and added stuff like orokin cells to the reward table, because the players were getting their stuff to fast.

    Now we are forced to farm even harder to get the parts. You also made it really hard to get to rotation c in T4D or T4Surv so we really have to resign on fast and efficient ways to farm these maps.

    A casual player or someone who doesn’t farm for specific parts has just a very low chance to get his Loki Prime ever finished if he doesn’t want to buy the systems.

    You did all this and said you want us to farm less… Seriously you added Primed Mods and other overpriced stuff for ducats and tell us we should farm less for prime parts and R5 fusion cores.

    Btw I still got no Crimson Dervish and I only recently received Despair after 40 Days of game time.

     

    OK let’s talk about other broken game mechanics

     

    Multiplayer

    Defense

    When was the last time you did a hard defense mission without a Frost? Is Frost broken as well. Is every warframe broken that can do something good?

    I know T4 defense is supposed to be hard, because it’s the hardest content but we have to do it to get the parts.

    Before the nullifiers there were many tactics to deal with this map. Many fun ways but also more Press 4 to win ways. With the introduction of nullifiers you forced the one strategy on us you don’t want us to play anymore.

    Frost Protects the globe from the oneshotting bombards, Mesa kills the mobs (going for more than 20 Rounds requires a buffer) and GMag gets all the loot because going out of the globe is just suicide.

    This way 3 Players can focus on taking down the nullifiers and Bombards.

    Before the nullifiers you could do many other tactics, like radial disarm loki with Vauban. Now the nullifiers blocks the disarm while the bombards just kills the globe with his fast firing homing rockets.

    Bows, many launchers and snipers are dead in the void since the introduction of nullifiers, because the weapons switch rate is just too slow to switch to the secondary every time a nullifier appears.

     

    Mobile defense & defense

    There is always the one hallway hero who just camps at the entry point where most of the mobs enter the map while the others protect the object and don’t get any loot or affinity.

    A good way to overcome this issue would be to multiply the affinity gained by how many other players are in the affinity share range. In a 4 player squad the hallway hero gets 1/4 or 1x of the affinity for a kill while the others staying together get 3/4 or 3x of the affinity for each kill.

    It would still hurt the players protecting the object but it would motivate the hallway heroes to stay back. Another Way would be to identify the main squad (50% or more of the players together and they would get the full affinity). 50% because sometimes you just need to split in 2 man teams.

    Make the Affinity Share Range a visible circle on the minimap or in the game itself.

     

    Survival

    DE changed this for the better. You can do now Survival missions until 20min without a Nekros but it is still a highly recommended warframe to bring along.

     

    New Loka Assassination Squad

    No Energy, No damage, totally overpowered, nothing to add

     

    Spy missions

    Im not sure if this is still an issue since I don’t play spy missions in multiplayer anymore. But the last time I played every alarm on the map set off the destruction of the data and there is always the one stray player setting an alarm off.

     

    Singleplayer

    I know this is a multiplayer game and DE does not want us to play singleplayer but in some cases I just like, prefer or have to play singleplayer.

    For example

    -           The player is a loner or he just doesn’t want to deal with trolling or random players who have just another rhythm than me (too fast or too slow)

    -           Your internet connection is bad. I sometimes play travelling in the train over my mobile.

    -           You want to get all the syndicate symbols and don’t want to join an ongoing mission just to miss out on most of the sigils. Also I want to get all sigils and when I get them I want to extract soon. With other players its either too fast or too slow.

     

    Defense, Excavation

    I know there are other strategies to do it, but on harder missions its really well advised to bring a Frost. (Other strategies that come to mind: Limbo, Disarm Loki

     

    Hacking

    Hacking is really nerf wrecking, you kill all the mobs, just to get shot while hacking by the new spawned mobs.

     

    Survival

    Doing a singleplayer survival run is nearly impossible without a Nekros or a Pilfering Hydroid. The spawn rate of the enemies is just too low especially on easier missions.

    Activating live support is really tedious, you just can stand there while mobs are just shooting you down.

     

    Juggernaut

    I like to play any warframe just with melee, I love melee. But playing a squishy warframe on infested missions just got so annoying. If the Juggernaut appears and there’s just no way how you can kill him without being at least one time oneshot by him. And it’s hard work to kill him with melee.

     

    Life Management

    Playing singleplayer especially on harder content is always about: Just don’t die, because there won’t be a teammate to revive you and you have to spend a revive to go on.

    Maybe give the specters the ability to revive, that won’t solve the problem, but at least we have the possibility to overcome this issue. A mod for Sentinels/Kubrows would work as well.

    The dudes from syndicate missions could also revive you.

     

    Maybe my statements are not up to date and DE may fixed some stuff, so don’t be too picky about every single word I was stating. Look at the image I want to draw.

  4. Btw has anyone compared the drop chances?

    Frost, Latron and reaper had in average a quite high drop chance.

    In contrast some parts of the odonata, some parts of volt have a very low drop chance.

    So where have the missing percentages gone?

    I agree or accept that the new prime access stuff should or has a very low drop chance, but this doesnt seem like cleaning up the drop tables imho.

    Coptering, by all sane definitions, is an exploit of the physics engine, you are not meant to play that way, and it's GOOD that it's finally gone.

     

     

    Since you can't really use melee for damage after a certain level, I select my melee by its mobility and its range.

    With its range and and slide/copter range the orthos prime is my first choice on melee weapons.

    For me sliding through a large group of enemies is the only feasible way to use melee.

    Channeling is no option since it is too expensive for what it does.

    Stances are no option for me, because once I meet this pesky bombard Im dead if im stuck in melee mode and would have to switch to my primary, so quick melee. The introduction of quick fire in melee mode would solve the issues with cameras and the disruption fields as well.

    If you take away the possibility to copter, in my eyes melee will be dead.

    You say abuse broken game mechanics: I say we are frigging space ninjas, i want to be able to do stuff which I can't do in real life.

    Whats the problem of us beeing able to move around fast. This is no gamebreaker, it doesnt make you

    invulnerable or kill everything, its just fun. Walking around or running is so booooring and you get insta

    killed by hitscan weapons or strong enemies. Have you ever tried to just walk up onto a high level heavy

    gunner or bombard? Good Luck.

    I want to be able to jump over large gaps in the map, jump up high ledges, slide through large grouups of

    enemies. It hurts nobody, it's fast and it's fun.

    Pls dont take away all the fun stuff about this game.

    This is what makes me love this game: Use awesome abilities (often), move around insanely fast. As long as I can I use melee because I think its just more fun than normal shooting.

    Pls correct me if I understood the whole issue wrongly.

     

    PS: All squishy warframes would have a real problem if you couldnt hit and run with coptering anymore.

  6. The undeniable truth is: There will always be ways to abuse the gamemechanics.

    With a game wich so much variety like warframe, there are so many ways to play the game, so many combinations.

    The problem is, once you nerf one ability or how energy works, you may destroy a specific way to grind, to abuse or to lazy missions.

    But hand in hand you make the normal play much harder much less fun too. And as always the grinder will find another way to grind, thats what he does. Find the most efficient way to get what he wants.

    But I honestly dont see the problem in people grinding. If you want something very hard and you want to sacrifice your time with boring tactics, be my guest an do it. Broken game mechanics like eGate where it didnt get any more difficult and there was an infinite stream of enemies. Thats good that they fixed that. But just playing maps that spawn many enemies which give much loot or affinity is no broken game mechanics.

    You could lower the spawn rate of such enemies, but then again missions get so boring for normal gameplay. I remember mobile defence being a good way to level up stuff, because of the high spawn rate of enemies. They somehow adjusted that and now T1-4 MD is just so boring. No enemies at all.

     

    I think its sad that the only thing they do is to try to remove the possibility to grind in an efficient way, introduce more grindy equipment like primed mods or prime parts which take ages to get and just destroy the normal fun way to play the game.

     

    If you reduce the possibility for high efficiency builds you wont be able to play harder missions without optimized team setups and weapons anymore, because there wont be any margin. Im a space ninja I want to do awesome stuff without always thinking about: I need this warframe for that, this weapon to stay alive and need to buy/build items so I can play the game in a normal fashion.

    Now I have to put 2 Duration Mod on my Efficiency build to be back at the same Duration. And I loose the Ability to have a free utility Slot.

    It was a really good thing that stomp was not dependant on duration. At least boost the base duration a little bit. Otherwise its a really hard nerf.

    Im running an overextended efficiency build with intensify and transient fortitude for low level damage.

    80% Efficiency, -77.5% Duration, +20% Strength, +135% Power Range

    to be back at about 8s I need to switch TF with pcont for

    80% Efficiency, 5% Duration, -35% Strength, +135% Power Range

    or

    80% Efficiency, 5.5% Duration, -10% Strength, +135% Power Range (Int -> Pcont,+Constitution)

     

    Just figured out, that its even worse for my duration build for roar.

    70% Efficiency, 114.5% Duration, 80% Strength, -66% Power Range (All with arcane vanguard helmet)

    Because I cant recast stomp as long as 1 enemy is in stasis i cant recast stomp for 17 seconds.

     

    So all in all I think this is really a bad nerf instead of a boost.

  10. I noticed the same with Phorid. I prefer to do Phorid runs for rare resources. Normally I get 0.8 Neural Sensors per run. (Sample Size about 150 runs on one Invasion).

    Since they introduced the sigils the rate droped drastically. I only got 1 Neural sensors on 10 runs and 6 Sigils. I stopped because I was so frustrated. I know the new sample is not large, but I don't want to waste my time on this broken mechanics. In my view the sigils should be really rare, so they are something special, like 1%. I dont actually care about the sigils but I dont want rare resource farming be more nerve-racking as it already is.

  11. During the Process of Leveling up your Mastery Rank you accumulate many weapons and warframes

    Some of them I like, some of them I don't like.

    The weapons that I don't like and are not special in any way get sold.

    But as I'm a little bit of a collector there are weapons i don't especially like or use often, but have just something special.

    Namely Clan Weapons, Prime Weapons, Event Weapons and unprimed Versions of Warframes.

    I just don't want to sell them, but they really clutter the weapon and warframe selection menu.

     

    I would really like to see the option to archive a weapon or warframe.

    What this means:

    - Tick-Box in the weapon/warframe selection screen or upgrade menu to archive it (unarchive too)

    - Weapons/warframes will still be usable, simply in a subfolder at the top of the list (Archive)

    - Weapons/warframes will still use a weapon/warframe slot

     

    The most convenient version would be,  that we can just create individual folders, but that's maybe too dynamic for DE.

     

    This would really help in the selection of your loadout.

     

    And Yes I know about the loadout system, but that's just not flexible enough for me.

    I use them for specific purposes like: Stealth, Low Conclave, Tank

    But as Im still in the process of ranking up many new weapons I keep changing my default loadout a lot.

     

    Suggestions and an implementation would be very much appreciated.

  12. Pls DE take care and include a official system for keysharing:

     

    I see two solutions with their advantages and disadvantages:
     
    - Multiply all keys by 4 and make the drop table drop 4 keys. Every time you host a game you select either keyshare or non keyshare. If you ticked non-keyshare, it consumes 4 of your keys. If you ticked keyshare it will consume 1 key per player. Advantage every run costs you exactly 1 key. DE may see people soloing with keyshare activated, which will dilute the keys.
     
    - Use fractional keys. If you ticked non keyshare, it consumes 1 of your keys. If you ticked keyshare it will consume 1/#player. And guys dont be afraid of fractions they are numbers as every other number. Advantage you are motivated to be a 4 party because the runs are cheaper.
     
    In any case the game will be marked if it is keyshare or not.

    Why you want to join: I was in a small, not so active Clan. Because I play a lot, I want to be in a big active and friendly clan. I really would like to enjoy the advantages of playing with people I can strategize and do coordinated missions, rather than just running with random people.

    I really like that you made a map of your clan Dojo.

  14. When I started the game a few weeks back, the first planet you were on was mercury. According to the old map you were supposed to unlock earth after completing linea. After finding out that on the update 14 new locations do only unlock if I play solo, which is on higher levels a real pain and that the bosses drop the new nav segments I killed all the bosses on mercury, venus, mars. Then I found out that earth is now the first planet you start on and that it gets unlocked if you play the new tutorial. Unfortunately I skipped the new tutorial because I was afraid I lose all my progess.

     

    Now I figure I can't ever unlock earth because it gets only unlocked by the tutorial, which I can't repeat. I can't even get one map on earth unlocked because if my friends invite me on earth missions I'm not playing solo anymore and as mentioned before then maps do not unlock.

     

    Is there any help you can give me?

    Maybe make the tutorial replayable? or unlock the first map of earth for everyone.
