  1. I have tested this several times over the last weeks and months, when somebody told me, that stacking doesn't work anymore.

    I can't exclude if there are any differences between the simacrulum,if there is a difference if you are hosting or not or if there is an influence if the globe has been damaged at any point in time.

    I cast the globes ahead, before there are any enemies spawned.

     

    I always test with level 100 Bombard Eximus in the simulacrum and count the shots it takes him to take down the globe as this is very easy to differentiate. I do not exclude that I may miscounted once or twice but that doesn't matter.

    I know my build for the globe is quite weak, but if you put all energy you have into the globe it will 'never' go down. I like the range for bombard protection and just shove enemies outside with an additional cast.

    +135.00% power range, -5.00% power strength, -22.50% power duration, +75.00% power efficiency, No Steel Fiber
     
    1 Cast --> 6 Shots
    4 Casts --> 24 Shots
    20 Casts --> 117 Shots
    100 Casts --> 590 Shots (Extrapolated from 80% health)
     
    As energy is so readily available I don't see much point on putting steel fiber on my frost or more strength mods, losing range,  efficiency or even more duration. If you cast the globe regularly the absorbed damage will boost the health a lot. If you put all energy you have and start stacking up globes from the start of a T4, you will be fine for a long time. I can't really speak for insanely long T4 runs as I've never done one, but as I see it you have to cast the globe anyways every 4 seconds if you really want to go the long distance.
  2. DE you better be joking about this new spawn logic in exterminate missions.

    I know I'm not the first to complain but seriously.

    I just did the Syndicate exterminate mission on ceres.

    I collected all sigils, I killed every enemy except one.

    I was running around back and forth, after some minutes the game decided to spawn the little bugger at the starting point.

    I was already pissed off, but when I reached the start I realized that the starting tileset is the one with the tube you go down.

    The one you can't get back up, because somebody thought it would be a good idea to have some kind of force there pushing you down.

     

    I know you want to kill exploits but you made exterminate for every normal player a hell on earth.

    Pls find a way to fix that.

  3. Btw make the sorties replayable.

     

    The time it takes to finish the sorties and the rewards you get after completing all three missions wont break the game.

    But this would actually allow to to farm Nezha, even though it will be very annoying.

    Btw the reward/time ration is really bad. I would say its more efficient if you're only after the rewards to play other stuff, sell the prime parts and buy what you need.

  4. Stealth play is now totally broken:

    You broke mechanics of stealth play because you didn't like us farming focus efficiently with stealth multipliers:

    - Kills in the first 5 seconds after spawning do not count towards the stealth kill. (I can't really judge on that, since it's nowadays really hard to know why the f the stealth kill chain has been broken (see point 2). If the only don't count towards the stealth counter it's not so bad, if they break the counter its really bad.

    - Enemies reaction to dead bodies is way too fast. If I slide with my Orthos through 2 enemies and the second enemy facing the first one stands 1 meter behind the first, being killed only a milisecond after the first one the stealth chain is broken. Seriously???

    - If I don't one-hit kill a heavy and need a second swing the stealth chain is broken, that's ok. But If he only grunts once nearly the entire map is alerted and make stealth play nearly impossible (A little bit exaggerating here)

     

    Reward Problematic:

    I really like doing sorties because it's an easy way to play hard content outside of 60min T4 survival and other endless missions.

    But how you handle the rewards its really bad. Putting stuff into the reward table you only need once (Karak Wraith, Dera Vandal, Nezha) or are just utterly worthless (small lenses since you can buy large ones for 40p) is really a downer.

    The problem with stuff you only need once is: You really need it only once, ok you can sell them but sorties are supposed to be endgame stuff. So give us stuff veteran players can actually use. Another problem with these things is you need to keep them in the droptables otherwise new players can only get them from the market or from trading.

     

    A way to solve this problem would be creating something like reward pools. For example create 3 pools you can choose from.

    Pool Nr. 1 has all the blueprints from the current session

    Pool Nr. 2 has lenses

    Pool Nr. 3 has Cores and reactor (I kinda like the cores, because you never have too many cores, but my 4 Karak Wraith blueprint, since I already have the weapon from the first time)

     

    We've seen it with Vauban, Mutalist Alad V Nav and we will see this with nitain, Karak Wraith, Dera Vandal, Nezha:

    When these Items are new you need to have a certain frequency so people can get it, but after some time the interest fades and and you make them appear less. Which is good for people who already have it, but this makes it very hard for future player getting this stuff.

  5. Another little change I would like is the option to silence ordis while in my ship. I have grown to dislike his comments after hearing them so many times but there are some missions where he speaks and it is difficult to read his dialogue while fighting. 

     

    I really would like an option where we can disable "social" calls, since we now have:

    - Lotus

    - Ordis

    - Operator

    chatting with us. I like the reminders about the life support and if a teammate has fallen. But the same comments about this and that are really annoying.

    Give us an Option to resize or disable the videos. It is quite dominant and annoyingly "in your face".

    Especially when doing Excavation or Defense Missions (Im not sure about Rescue), maybe other mission types too, where we can't see important stuff like health of the core anymore because Vor is chatting for hours and spaming our hud with his Video.

    REPRODUCTION STEPS:


    1. Customize the Operator


    2. Join a Game (not hosting)


    3. Wait a couple of minutes untill the ability becomes available


    4. Activate the Focus-Ability


    • Fixed all Greater Focus Lenses missing from the Market for Platinum. Also fixed some missing descriptions and icons for Focus Lens in the Market.

    I decided quite early that I really would like to max my daily focus more easily than with normal lenses so I bought 4 additional lenses to craft a greater lens. I paid on average about 125p per lens for that.

    At this time it was ok to pay that kind of plat, i knew eventually the prices for lenses would go down.

    As I know myself I'm maxing everything out so I wanted to have the greater lens from the start.

     

    Now we can buy greater lenses for 40p, which I think is great. Its more expensive than a reactor or catalyst which you actually "need" for every equipment you seriously want to use. This is an endgame item which you don't need for every piece of equipment.

    This is DE's answer for our calls that we don't want to be locked to one Frame/Weapon: Lower the prices for the stuff so you can equip it on multiple Frames/weapons.

     

    As I really like this change, it comes with a little bit salt, as DE needs people to test new mechanics as we still are the Beta tester of this game.

    Im not sure I you planned from the start to make greater lenses purchasable from the start and it just didn't appear in the market or if this is the reaction to our feedback to the new focus system.

    If it is the former it's again a punishment for the early adapters which is kind of bad, if its the latter it is fine for me.

     

    Btw: At one point someone may want to change the School and therefor the lens on a warframe/weapon.

    With the actual system you need to destroy the lenses which is bad (40p bad)

     

    I have a suggestions for a change in the lens-system:

    - Make the lenses being removable from an item. To prevent, that people only buy 1 lens and keep swapping them between stuff:

         - Add an item which can be built with normal resources which removes the lens safely. (Like with the arcanes)

         - Or add a week cooldown to a unequipped lens so you can't switch around all the time.

  7. For all asking, why Latron Prime Stock is in a normal alert, its quite easy:

    Latron Prime Stock is not in the void farmable. So this mechanics reduces the supply of Latrons to 1 Latron per account.

    Giving everybody the chance to get the latron and reducing the impact on the latron prices to a reasonable amount.

  8. I've done 6 Sorties so far.
    My rewards are:
    1x 25 Gold R5 Fusion Cores
    2x Naramon Lense
    3x Karak Wraith Blueprint (I already have the Karak Wraith)

    Pls Make that we dont get an Item twice in one Sortie Rotation.

    When I first saw that the reward has been marked green, I thought wow this is a cool system.
    This way it would be possible to get most of the drops in one Sortie Rotation if you do the Sorties daily.

    But If I keep getting the same rewards over and over I don't see a Chance getting all parts for the Dera Vandal.
    For the ones saying, that there are stuff which are usefull if you get them more then once:
    You can get It a second time in the next Sortie Rotation.

    Sorties are a lot of fun, but doing something without any usefull reward (stuff you only need once),
    takes away some of the motivation.

  9. DESCRIPTION: Doing Archwing missions with a Warframe with a lens on results in not spawning the Archwing. You result walking in the zero plane in space. Its kinda fun but you cant extract since the extraction point is too far away from the zero plane.

    Who - Any Frame probably with lens on (I only have Ember Prime though, in combination with Elytron)

    What - Archwing not equipped in Archwing missions with lensed Warframe

    Where - Any Archwing mission, tried it only on open space Archwing missions

     

    CAN YOU REPRODUCE THE BUG? Y (I wasnt the only one having this bug in the missions)

     

    REPRODUCTION STEPS: How did you come upon this bug, what are the steps to recreate it?

     1. Equip Warframe with an installed lens

     2. Start an Archwing mission

     

    Linked to this issue: Warframes or Weapons with lenses on:

     

    All sorts of problems with current [3:32 EST 12/4] Archwing alert.

     

    1st Run spawned Archwing, 2 enemy exterminate mission with only 1 enemy on map. Squad could't extract. :(

     

    2nd Run didn't spawn Archwings for 3/4 players, 2 enemy exterminate mission with both on map. Killed both targets, but 3/4 players couldn't reach extraction points as they were confined to 2 dimensions. :(

     

    Anyone else have these (or other) issues?

     

    EDIT: Did 3rd Run, spawned Archwings for every player, but not Archwing weapons. Both enemies in 2 enemy exterminate spawned and were successfully killed. Managed to extract this time and got the mod, but no experience was rewarded for Archwing (or anything else for that matter).

  10. Concerning Law of Retribution Nightmare Changes:

     

    I know you want to make the Nightmare Raid hard, but with the current changes it gets really absurd:

     

    Changes:

    - Glaive Charge takes about 1.5 seconds to throw

    - Nullifier Drones can't be killed from outside of the globe

     

    I can deal with the glaive charge time as I just have to time better, but still i think this is a very hard nerf. Not only on the blessing Trinity rather on the guys really enjoying the glaive on itself. The throw has become a non-option for this weapon as it just takes too long.

     

    The nullifier Drones are absurd now, as in contrast to Nullifiers their globe doesnt shrink when you shoot it.

    This results in massive amounts of drones being stacked over another impossible to kill. I would say 3 drones in one place make it already nearly impossible to kill them.

    Make either the globes shrink or return it to the old system where it only blocks abilities not damage from rifles.

    As someone who plays blessing Trinity a lot nowadays these drones are really a pain especially in the second stage:

    If I'm on a pad I can't evade the drones, I can't shoot them from the outside and if they glide over me I can kill them, but I lost blessing and my team dies.

    I don't really appreciate enemy design without any way to counter them.

  11. It's just the Sortie missions that seem to have that restriction, not all Spy missions.

     

    Sortie seem to have the same mechanics as the nightmare Law of Retribution Raid.

    I know its hard, especially when you get the Room where you have to hack 4 times and you take too long on the first one.

    I had to do the mission twice, but I think its an OK restriction for a sortie.

     

    I wouldnt have a problem with hacking if my computer sometimes has issues with lagging behind (ok admittedly my bad)

     

    AND The visual spam and Orange screens in the back of the hacking overlay so I cant see the selector half of the time.

  12. Would it be possible if the UI would show us when extraction is possible?
    A long time ago it was always: 5min in Survival, 5 Rounds in Defence, and 1 Successful Excavator in Excavation.

     

    Now there are many different limits:

    Survival: Regular: 5min, Alert & Syndicates: 10min, Sortie: ?

    Defence: Regular: 5, Alert & Syndicates: 10, Endurance & Sortie: 20

    Excavation: Regular: 1 or 100 Cryotic (not sure), Alert & Syndicates: 500 Cryotic, Sortie: 1500 Cryotic

     

    Defence counts down the levels, Survival counts down the minutes

    Pls give us an indicator on Excavation

     

    A bug a friend of mine had in the last tactical alert (Not sure which one it was: I think, it was some special alert with a catalyst reward):

    Even though the timer of the survival mission was counting down, the players could extract prematurely.

    This resulted that the alert reward was not given in the end of the mission.

  13. I've been experiencing this problem for a long time. The game doesn't remember my settings, from my Gear Bindings, my Mod Sorting preference to some of menu settings like Sprint Toggle etc. The will just reset when I launch the game later.

     

    I've Googled the crap out of this issue and the only thing that has resolved it was a work around I did. I go into the game, make all the changes I want, bind my gear etc. then go to the C:\Users\[name]\AppData\Local\Warframe\[lotsagibberishnumbersandleters]\ folder and change the settings file properties to Read Only. It's not a fix, just a work around as I don't really change my gear that often and then I just "Unlock" the settings file, save the settings and "lock it" again.

     

    Thx Mate, gotta try this, nothing worse than being in a Raid and you lack energy or shield, want to drop a team restore pad and nothing happens and the whole team dies / mission fails.

  14. This morning its the second time many settings have been returned to default:

    - Gear-Menu emptied

    - Overall Sound to full

    - Ordis voice from zero to max

    - Radio activated

    some other setting I can't recall

     

    Im not sure if its an error with my setup, but a friend of mine had that too.

  15. Just to make that clear: I didn't buy those Skins when they were first sold, so I'm not personally involved since I didn't buy them this time around either.

     

    One argument here is: You got what you paid for, so don't be angry and be happy that other people enjoy it as well.

    Some other people argue, that they should be happy that more people support now DE and the development of the game.

    Those argument might be good if this game was a non Profit organization and all the money we give them goes directly into the game.

    But just face it: This game is a business, nothing more nothing less. We are presented with a certain setup of things we get and we accept them and pay a price for it.

     

    If you really believe that exclusivity has not value, you have understood nothing of human behavior. If it doesn't disturb you, that's your thing but you should accept that this is a real thing for other people.

     

    Do you think people would pay millions of dollars for a painting if there were thousand identical paintings of them around?

     

    I personally don't care about the exclusivity of my stuff, what I really don't appreciate is the bait strategy.

    If they waited for the Saryn Skin one year before introduced permanently I think there would have been less outrage as well.

    But they did it just weeks after they've been removed from the first sale.

    I was running solo mode while the patch was released and I got kicked out of the game before I finished the mission.

    was that an automatic thing from the servers? I just find it odd, or rather kind of a time waste.

     

    I'm saying this because solo mode can work even when your internet crashes.

    so what the heck prompted the game from kicking me out to the login screen.

    I was wondering the same. In Singleplayer you only need an active connection to start the mission and when you extract.

    I know because I sometimes play in the train over my mobile network, I just have to be careful not to extract in a tunnel.

  17. Its not a bad map design, Its a loot cave. There will always be one. This I'm not worried about. While its true, yes all of these things will come to frames with OP abilities and bad ability synergy, this will allow us to actually PLAY the game. I await eagerly any changes they have to Trinity, Loki or any other frames, and will adapt to them just the same. DE is trying to move away from the Press X button to win play style, which if you'll look at all those frames you listed, supported.

     

    As you said, there always will be a loot cave, but is draco game breaking? it gives a lot of affinity and therefore a lot of standing. Does this destroy anything in the game? I don't think so. The destroying part is done by DE who balances all warframes around the most optimized setups on the loot cave maps.

     

    So in non loot caves with a none optimized team we just end up with lackluster frames. Why not balance the game over the normal gameplay and let the loot caves be what they are. Btw I really enjoy playing draco with non optimized builds. Its one of the only map I can fight many enemies without having to play 20min Survival. I really hate that all survival map get decent spawn rates after 20min. Its no fun to search for the one kill.

  18. Some Questions from my Side:

    - Why do you hate low duration, high efficiency builds (Rhino Stomp, Toggle Abilities, now Saryn)

    - Why did you kill the last nuker we had? I know the press 4 to win problematic, but I didnt see Saryn that often that it was really an issue.

    - Are you serious with that Damage on Miasma, couldn't test it out myselft yet, but Rebecca had a hard time killing a lvl 40 bombard in devstream, lv 40???

    - We have so many caps concerning efficiency: 175% is max efficiency, an ability can cost the least 25% of its original cost (no these 2 are not the same if you calculate in duration). We can't compensate a lower duration with the possible efficiency of 190%.

    Since toggle efficiency is affected by duration, THERE IS NO CAP for low duration builds, meaning 12% duration equals to 8.3 times the energy cost. Since we have caps at the upper end, we need caps at the lower end aswell. Something like min 50% effect on ability cost. (I know 12% is only reached by full Fleeting expertise, giving some efficiency back, but still my point is valid.

    When you reach points like getting to 200% efficiency or 0% duration the effect on efficiency exponentially explodes.

    200% efficiency = 0 energy cost, 0% duration = infinite cost. So we need to put caps on both end of the scale.

    Why not just simpily FIX the damn thing and make fire rate mod affect charge time like it always should as it does in normal game.

    But no you had to give us another mod to farm instead. Now if we use fire rate one we will have slow charge time, if we use this one we will have slow quickshoting and using both just isnt worth 2 mod slots. Seriously i see absolutly no reason for this to happen, its so more simple and logical to just adapt fire rate mod to it and all of us would be happy. Oh and this mod better dont turn out to be ! rare to get, cuz that would be just a slap in the face.

    I second that, not nice indeed.
