oh u meant the actual universal vacuum, i thought u r being sarcastic  and calling this a diminished Uni vac. sorry

Not keen on using sarcasm. My first part was a response to people slinging mud at each other. I don't much like that, but then again I don't like politics much for the same reasons. I rather think of players, their experience, and generally the view is that simplification is better. I think new players, and players in general, should not sweat the small stuff.

I also like diminishing the meta's "necessity", I like diversity. :)

How?? instead of one now they have to find 3 mods and level them and in the process get more endo/credit to do that, i started the game last december so i stil remember the journey of this 20MRs and only twice i didnt like DE's methods

1.killing of endless practically as reward:effort after a point is well.. u know ...

    2. increasing primed mod level cost to 1.9 mill +

and this will be the 3rd time

I think you missed that I'm in favor of passive vacuum as a global thing.

  3. Trolling the community and calling people stupid and lazy is not helping matters, but neutral views are perfectly fine, nobody's individual views are less than others so there's no reason to dump on them and accuse them for being this or that if they don't go with your flow. This is to all sides of the field.

I think long term players like me can't speak well for new player experience, as our new player experience is so far removed and some hundred updates ago. But I can at least say that this (passive universal vacuum, maybe reduced a little) would be to their benefit to give them fewer things to worry about when starting out. I don't think many players buy resource packs and such anyways, even new players, so the only impact I see is general longevity for new players. But again, I can't speak for modern new players, so take that as it is.

I didn't see one aspect of this proposed ''change'' discussed:

Who will be hit the hardest?

And I think it is players with less then 500 hours will suffer the most. Then all the people up to MR15 or so.

Why do I think so? Because those are the people who need resources, credits, endo and mods the most.

90% people using carrier is not a problem. Problem is that other companions don't have anything nearly as good to offer.

Smeeta is the only companion that has. And it's already starting to get nerfed.

This is true, we often forget what it was like starting off as newbies to the game, how hard it was to get momentum started. The problem too is turning one "mandatory" mod across the board into three. Could alienate new players more. If it were an exilus, new players wouldn't even know what exilus is for a while and would struggle. If it is 3 mods for all sentinels, then that is three "mandatory" mods that were once one, thus still hurting diversity. I love sentinels, but also love kavats. I don't think vacuum should be this problematic to just give freely and improve the lives of new players.

  5. Well, I don't see how bashing a lot of people and calling them lazy helps either. People are entitled to their ideas and they are just as legitimate as the neutral opinion.

I just think it is important that the community... well... communicates. I see nothing wrong with what is said as long as it isn't finger pointing and accusations.

  6. I started this lighthearted poll on the Warframe subreddit regarding the public opinion of universal vacuum and for the most part it has been civil, thankfully, as well as been a good grounds for alternative solutions. I decided to put it here as well. Forgive the puns, it was late when I made it. :(

Personally I have the opinion that it should not be a mod at all but an innate local vacuum that would remove a portion of "meta". I've heard this called OP, but honestly, to me, OP is oneshotting a boss and ragdolling him across the map, and we have that. XD I see no objective harm. Plus hardly anybody buys resources with plat, and vacuum doesn't make more items spawn or anything.

  7. Some Lua nodes do not spawn any Lunar Pitchers, even in places where they should spawn at. An example of such a node is Copernicus and Zeipel where several runs have yielded none at all even in the crumbled side rooms. This was not the case before when the Silver Grove was first released where they were far more abundant.

  8. This has been a long running AI bug with Kubrows, now plaguing Kavats, making them dubious for any stealth mission or any stealth play. Even the Huras Kubrow, a stealth pet, will do this in any mission. The issue is, they often alert all enemies in an area even though under Ivara's, Loki's, Ash's, or other stealth effects, then start coming under fire which gets the player in the crossfire. This problem does not exist with Sentinels however, who remain passive while cloaked and do not alert enemies. This bug acts as a major deterrent for using anything other than sentinels for stealth play.

Enemies shouldn't be able to see and go aggro on an invisible Kavat/Kubrow, and should instead react to them in a similar manner to an invisible frame becoming moderately alerted when bumped into. They should be ignored from line of sight checks. Similarly, Kavats/Kubrows shouldn't attack enemies while under stealth unless to assist their master.

Idk if anyone has said this yet, but one of the requirements for the saturn junction is to successfully get all 3 data thingies hacked in a corpus spy mission on jupiter, but completing this does nothing.

Yup, mentioned it, and yes, it is broken. There's one for Mars to Phobos requiring that you seal 3 Lith fissures, but it is broken as well.

  10. He's OP in the fact he can attack ruthlessly while invisible with little to no repercussions, quickly run in and revive everybody without repercussions, with radial disarm build with irradiating disarm confuse all enemies and make them beat each other with sticks, and again, without repercussions if they are playing it well. His survivability stems from the fact that he can not only do things fast, but do things without the enemy knowing what he is doing. A proper Loki does any of the above things. Sure, many play him for self-preservation (which I don't support unless it hinges on success, or somebody wandered off too far from the objective like a goon making going off to get them a wasted effort), and he is squishy. But goofy players does not change the fact that the frame is not useless That is one of the ultimate truths.

Edit: Plus, in Survival while everyone else is busy being harassed by enemies, RNG is being a butthead and not dropping LS, Loki can rush off, get a few of the big ones real quick, and be back lickety split. I know Valkyr could probably do that too, but she isn't as fast.
