Isn't it annoying when the game removes mods from your build after polarization or fusion? This system would leave a transparent(ghost) mod in that slot indicating what used to be there.
So when you do finish ranking back up, You could just re-equip that mod into that slot.
Mod Fusion can be a problem when a frame/weapon you revisit a week later has an empty slot with no recollection of what used to be there(if any). With this ghost system, you wouldn't stress as much clicking on that UNINSTALL MOD button for the 'Fusion Conflict: Installed Mod would exceed capacity of **insert frame/weapon here**' window.
Other optional systems can come out of this including:
1. Re-applying mod/build with a click of a button after rank up
2. Missing-mod indicator or warning. There will be an indicator if you start a mission with a ghost mod equipped.
3. Erase ghost mod by right clicking on slot.
** Ghost mod is transparent, undragable, unusable and does not eat up capacity. Ghost mod is just an indicator and is only applied by the game through polarization or fusion.
Such a simple but useful system. Currently, my friends and I have to resort to pen and paper or multiple build tabs in our browsers. What do you guys think?
