I'm not 100% sure, but I think fire rate is decent. The crit chance buff looks good as the bow has a high inherent crit chance. Mag drain. I think the mag size is one of the best negatives as the bow can't go below 1.
Not sure on price, From what I gather the best ones have 3 positive and one negative, but at the very elast that looks good to use.
The most desired seem to be multishot and crit chance/dmg though. -
I hate this challenge.
Mag works though. Level 1 bounty. Just freeze it in place, then shoot the bottom antennae and then kill the pilot as it falls.
Works like 9/10 times for me.

You can't cross platform trade anyway. If Cross save ever does become a thing (I doubt it will any time soon if at all), then DE will likely provide a way to simply merge your accounts together
You really can't donate stuff to someone else? I know between your own accounts is not allowed, but I'd have thought they wouldn't mind someone just giving their stuff away if they wanted to.

You know, I probably came in a little hot as I was tired and just wanted the thing to be over as I wasn't having fun, and ran into some into bugs that forced a save reload which pushed me over the edge into forum rant mode.
I think it's pretty badly done, don't get me wrong, just don't know how productive my post was.
The saddest part here is that the campaign had sooo much potential, and it just felt utterly wasted.

You are correct. This is not what I meant when I said that.
And it wasn't what I was talking about, either. Looking back at my posts, they were quite clear.
Saying that, trading is a part of the game just as much as shooting, and flying, and crafting, etc... if someone wants to focus on trading alone, they are still playing the game. It's no less valid than grinding out missions over and over. -

It's not a fact at all.
It's not "bypasing the gameplay" lol, tading is an inherent part of the gameplay. Just because you took the longest route (which is fair, if you enjoy that kind of grind more), doesn't mean you earning it was any more valid than someone who found a shorter way.
It's not "whaling" in any sense of the word if you grind the game and sell what you earn via gameplay. -

If a player figures out they can farm elsewhere and sell items to buy the frame they still played the game to get there.
That's just smart use of time. Time being the most precious resource all of us have.

The only things that you really NEED plat for are more inventory slots. And those are super cheap. It is also useful to have for reactors and forma... but those are 20-35p themselves.
Don't spend any big plat on stuff like Rivens etc. until you REALLY mean it. And even prime mods (usually go for 400'ish plat) aren't even remotely necessary for 99% of the game.
Hit up warframe market (google it) and search around if there are specific mods you want/need when you get a build setup you want to try. The vast majority are cheap and you can decide if you want to farm them or just dump 20-50 plat into the mods.
But yea... really... unless you go hog-wild and buy rivens or a couple arcane energize or something, you'll likely not need to worry about plat anytime soon.

Ok, that all barely made sense to me via my experience of past iterations of this game and MMO style games in general... is there still player to player trading? I made that 6k buying selling mods ages ago.

And yes, I'm aware how fired up core communities can be. There has always been a fair share of that in WF (look at my "recent" post history for feedback threads where I'm literally lamenting about people moaning all the time! and that was back in 2013...). -

Standing in my Orbiter and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.

You just returned to the game.
It's not clunky. Super Jump is SLOW in comparison. Super Jump just send you more or less upwards at a shallow angles even when you are moving, directional melee allows fine directional control ... probably TOO good actually, because after a while you learn to land on railings and even stop on top of poles accurately.
Yes, I'm aware I just retuned to the game. Hence the questions...
The slow rise of super jump is a massive part of the charm for me. It allows me to view the battlefield for a moment and gauge what I need to do, or to make priority shots, or simply to use it as a breather mid combat.
Directional melee sounds different in ways that wouldn't make it as enjoyable for me.

Jump then melee in the direction you are aiming. If you aim up, then you will get launched much the same manner as Super Jump.
Super Jump is being removed because it is basically a redundant ability, as something similar can be done with every frame. In addition, it has been mentioned that parkour2.0 might have a charged-jump mechanic, making Super Jump even more obsolete.
Sounds clunky in comparison. Is it very easy to pull this off? Is it just as good in terms of manoeuvrability?

Just returned to the game to find out this is happening. It's easily my most used power, I love the manoeuvrability and other frames often feel so restricted to me not being able to launch themselves in the same way.
I realise this conversation must have been had a few times now, but man does it suck. ;_;

The challenge for me is in increasing efficiency.
I take a look at some key videos from people like TheKengineer explaining the maths, then some easy to digest examples from people like Layzar to give me an some ideas, and from there I try to work out my own builds for my own loadouts and see how efficient I can get.
I like trying to catch up with players in higher level lobbies with powerful builds, and seeing if I can solo add-clear type content as quickly as I can
No other games like this leans so hard into the power fantasy element, and it's super satisfying.
I've got a tonne of content to try due to recently returning from a very long break, I don't know how long this will hold my interest, but nothing lasts forever and that is OK.
