  2. 4/10 seems a little low.

    6/10 would be accurate, imo.

So much potential, but nothing but gear grind at its core. Poor AI, super repetitive gameplay, unimaginative mission structures... the negatives of Warframe far outweigh the positives.

It's sad, because it had so much potential during CB.

  3. sigh* i thought i could escape the endless facebook posts rip paul walker 1 like=1 respect about it on here but no.....not saying its not sad but it doesn't mean the entire world should drop what they were doing because a famous person died, you haven't heard anything about the other person in the car that died because they weren't famous its stupid logic and its obnoxious please don't drag it onto here

No, we didn't hear about the other person as much because they weren't famous. You hit the nail on the head! There's nothing wrong with that, it's part of being known in that way. It doesn't mean the world doesn't understand that normal people die everyday too. We can't mourn for every single death or we'd be mourning constantly, so we acknowledge the ones who had some kind of impact on the public consciousness.

There is nothing obnoxious about grieving for someone in this way.

He seemed like a grounded and sweet natured guy. It's a shame.

  4. PvP would be fine if implemented in the right way for Warframe.

It shouldn't be deathmatch style, or concentrated on shooting each other.

Instead, something like: two teams of 4 start at opposite ends of area -> rush to objectives, final is in centre -> exit is in opposing team's spawn.

The first teams to win each primary objective on their side of the ship will score some kind of bonus (to power or reward).

Then make it so you can't cross over to the opponent's side of the ship until the centre objective has been taken.

Both teams need to be present in room for centre objective to activate.
Incentive to reach centre first so you can set up positions.

Here you have to kill your opponent's team.

You only get one life each.

Winning team spawn back and objective can be taken safely.

Effectively the first team has won, but they can make it to the enemy's spawn and extract, you get a bonus.

A this point, enemy team will respawn in random positions when killed.

Winning team have one life each.

  5. I say boycott those prime chamber fools.

Ridiculous amounts of platinum are wanted for this mod. This should not be the case. I can only hope that DE wise up and release the mod to the public instead of making such a circus around it

    Let people trade in peace.

Mods really need to crack down on posts like these.

  6. DE said they wanted to prevent A, then instead, made A a popular, regular thing, taking over major aspects of the game. The Platinum circulates instead of being detached from ingame currency. Ingame currency is worthless fuel for the real trades; Plat for X.

    I am amazed.

Not sure how popular it is. The only example I've seen in game is that one guy selling clan invites.

  7. I see it's either All or none with the kind of person like yourself, so "Open Mind" doesn't exactly come up highlighted in your dictionary.

The Progression system is not in any way being attacked nor am I saying hand over the game to people who cant play very much and dont have money.

Simply saying meeting half way, or negotiating, is inevitable in an MMO, and that 300 plat may go for someone who can afford, not everyone will agree.

    A g a i n.

    Agree to disagree.

My point is that you cannot consider people who have no time nor money as a baseline, that's all.

They will be able to find their way because the market is free, and because there are just as many players out there who sell for 100 as there are who sell for 300.

EDIT: deleted my further responses. This thread doesn't appear to be going anywhere.

    I'm out, cheers!

  8. No, Sir.

Simply stating that the "Middle method" is a way for those "Poor charity cases" and "Greedy Plat eaters" to coexist.

Again I simply asked to keep an open mind. That does not not mean in anyway start a charity.

Read the post again before jumping to your values of the discussion.

So in your understanding I will simply lay it down in numbers for you:

    Charity Case = 150 plat

    Greedy Players = 300 Plat

150 + haggle and negotiate = price out come

    or

300 - haggle and negotiate = price out come

Basically how any MMO economy functions on its own anyway.

This person is not the only one with the serration and given the discussion at hand, wont be selling one any time soon again, but for the moment are putting up such a harsh defense to people with a Different opinion in price to sell one serration for 300 plat.

Having half a mind to just give him the 300 plat, if I do only ask he give it to one of the "Charity cases" on the forum complaining about high prices.

(My apologies to the poster, did not see that it was another person that quoted me earlier, with my foot in my own mouth telling this one to re-read my own post, again I apologize)

That "just as ignorant" comment was meant for another poster. I removed it because I didn't feel the need to engage someone who is obviously trolling.

As for the rest, I'm not really sure what your argument is at this point. If you would like to clarify I'd happily debate it further.

  9.

Let's agree to disagree and try to keep an open mind towards people that don't have alot of time to play, Don't make enough to pay it at the price you ask for and want to progress and hold up his own with his friends in a party, Clan, Etc.

So what you're saying is we should start a charity to support players who can't invest time nor money?

In that case, why even have a progression system. Just let everyone unlock everything with no effort!

  10. IMO and I stress that this is my opinion. Fusion Cores are not worth a single platinum. I typically have well over 300 in my inventory without farming them. They aren't even remotely rare. I would assume the credit requirement would be the big issue, but to each their own. I guess the market will decide its value as it is whatever people are willing to pay for it. Personally I will save my platinum for useful things that are rarer like potatoes and formas. Oh and scarfs. I love me some ninja scarfs.

    Froma are rare?

I have 20 BPs sitting in my inventory.

  11. The people that are selling max rank Serrations et al, are all clearly from closed beta, who all had their mods converted to rank 10 fusion cores when the mod system changed. Probably took them all of 5 mins to get a Serration to rank 10. So yeah, $20 is a bit much.

    Not really.

Anyone who has played since CB has probably put in a lot of time, so "$20" (even though it's much less when you factor in founders, prime access, and coupons) is fair for the game time they've invested.

And if you're suggesting all players with max serration used level 10 cores, then you're just spouting nonsense and should be ignored.

  12. That's 20 bucks for a mod. That seems a bit steep to me. This game's economy is ridiculous.

No... that would be $20 for the time it took to max the mod.

The mod itself sells for a few platinum

The maxed version sells for $20 because the time investment justifies it.

    As I wrote before:

How long does it take you to earn $20?

How long does it take you to max a Serration?
