Zarr the best canon?

I see everyone prefer the Zarr over all the other canons but why? If the other canons have like the double amount of damage.

The advantage of the Zaw is it benefits well from Crit builds and has the versatility of being a very powerful short range shotgun. I still prefer the Ogris a bit tho due to range, AoE and the Nightwatch's Napalm mod that allows it to deal a lot more damage over time where it hits.

It's because Zarr's status triggers per shot allow it to deal with armor unlike most Launchers.

Most explosive weapons only hit a target once or twice while a single shot from Zarr can hit 4-12 times on a target. Each hit producing a status effect.

You have to fire Zarr in a specific manner though by aiming at the feet of an enemy. Direct hits are not ideal.

This would be an example of shot placement.

This doesn't make Zarr perfect for every situation. Just versatile.

I prefer Zarr or Torrid against armored enemies and Lenz against unarmored.
