How do I pilot the Archwing?

On land I'm pretty good for someone who isn't even Mastery 3, but when it comes to this blasted Archwing, I can't handle it!

The only two missions I have for Archwings are the quest, where you're under fire from a destroyer, and the Kepler Phobos mission, which is ridgidly timed. 

I haven't got a chance to learn how to properly fly these things, and I need to clear Kepler to farm plastids at Phobos. Please help?

Make sure experimental flight controls are disabled.

in the Rush mission, don't try to sprint, just fly normally, only sprint/boost for a very short time in bursts when there's a long-ish hallway. You can use aiming your gun to slow down when you wanna make a turn/corner around something/stop 

These are the essentials to mastering this mission, try it out and learn how to fly then you'll have no issues with it

I would suggest doing a few more practice runs on the earth archwing mission to get use to the controls  if you haven't done so already.
