Pixelasylum
I'm running the game thru Warframe website account and I would like to link it to Steam since I have an account there BUT in order to make that link Steam wants me to REINSTALL the game thru it. Facepalm.
Stealthninjaktk
Honestly, just don't. I don't think steam is going to make the game any better.

Stealthninjaktk
Wait, if you go to steam you get all those skins. That is cool but even then, you can just use the warframe website. Tazmai
I haven't done it personally, but couldn't you just move the files from your old warframe install to wherever steam makes a new one?

Probably not. Usually STEAM versions of games are different. Folder structure, STEAM overlay, achievements... There is another way to circumvent the download though. Pixelasylum, if you know someone who installed via STEAM, get them to make a game backup. STEAM has a function for that. Take the backup and install from that. No additional download needed. Chaemyerelis
I'd uninstall then reinstall. It doesn't take that long. Edited December 18, 2018 by Chaemyerelis
