Just a few ideas to improve the "random" options from the colors section.

The locks give you the chance to test different colors for portions of the warframes/weapons/accesories without the need to do the whole thing over, but instead a specific part you want to change.

The scramble options I find it most interesting for when you copy your warframes colors into weapons and accesories, as they often fit better in different positions rather than exactly the same ones.

Last but not least the "cross-palettes" idea comes from an urge to avoid getting the same disasters when, for example the "Infested" palette is randomly chosen and all those bright colors simply melt your eyes. It feels like the random would be even more "random" if it picked colors from the different palettes you own. (Note that I put this one as a toggle option, since some people might prefer it the way it works now).
 

As you can see, this would only give more options and freedom to the randomizing of the colors and customization, rather than impose a whole new system or such. In other words, even if this was actually added to the game and you do not like it, you can simply leave the toggle option off and just use the random colors button as usual.
