LxLawliet
I thought I post this in case people keep asking why they cannot see any videos being posted here on the forums. It's really simple. The reason most of you can't see them is because Firefox is blocking such content by default ("protection", if you will)...this can be seen here: If you click this little shield, a popup will appear telling you that Firefox is blocking unsecure content. A dropdown menu at the lower left corner allows one to "enable" unsecure content. As you can see, videos are now being shown. The yellow warn sign tells you that unsecure content will no longer be blocked on the page. There is, as far as I know, no permanent workaround for this particular issue. EDIT: KatanaWielder and MagicFingers both provided a permanent workaround for this: permanently turn off content blocking....i've done this...it comes straight from mozzilla turn off mixed content blocking - enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named security.mixed_content.block_active_content. double-click it and change its value to false. reference: https://support.mozi...uestions/967351 Here is a link detailing what "mixed content" is: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-does-content-isnt-secure-affect-my-safety Edited September 13, 2013 by LxLawliet

KatanaWielder
This should work 1. Type in the address bar about:config 2. Find security.mixed_content.block_active_content 3-. Toggle it to false
