Aeiroth Posted February 17, 2019 Share Posted February 17, 2019 While deployed in regular missions the Phaedra will fold in on itself and replay the "deployment" animation after every shot. MirageKnight Posted April 11, 2019 Share Posted April 11, 2019 (edited) I was going to post a topic on this, but figured I'd give this post a much needed bump. To date, the Phaedra STILL does this. To elaborate a little on Aeiroth's observations, the forward portion of the barrel slides / pops up and slightly back after initially firing. After that, it'll slide down into firing / ready position when actually firing, but when you let go of the fire button, the barrel section will pop back up, but then slide back down again after a few seconds of not firing. I believe the reload animation does play correctly when reloading the weapon. Sadly, the Phaedra's firing animation has been broken for a couple of months now - probably since the introduction of the heavy weapon loadout option. A pity too, because the Phaedra's a really beautiful weapon and the borked animation just ruins it. I have made my own personal post about this months ago but not one single thing has been done for it. Grattler also shares it's own animation woes.
