(XBOX)The Neko Otaku
Ghoul purge is one of the few recurring events in the game that reappears quite fast, unfortunately this is the worst event to have show up constantly. Most people don't bother with this event unless they didn't get the 2 weapons, the mods or lore, but once yoy do all that there's no real incentive to go back to those bounties. Instead of doing the ghoul purge event over and over and spamming players inbox about it, why not move the ghoul purge bounties into the normal bounty rotation. Every time the bounties reset a random bounty becomes a ghoul purge and has the purge rewards(but still have gara and rev blueprints). This would let easy access for any new players and relieves the fatigue if have the the ghoulnpurge showbup every 2 weeks
Lazarow
Your suggestion is not a bad one but lore-wise it wont work. The ghoul purge event is when grineer have cloned a significant number of ghouls which need to be dealt with, if we have a random bounty going ghoul purge at random that would make it no different than a regular bounty and the ghouls would be really common as they would always be all over the place. When the event isnt going on there are still ghouls on the plain but just very little numbers, that is noted from lotus' thank you mail saying "The Ghoul presence on the Plains of Eidolon has returned to nominal levels." Id say make it more rare so it doesnt get annoying, even if its once in 3-4 months it would still be good. NezuHimeSama
imo, if lore gets in the way of the game being good, change the lore. Make the game, then make the lore to fit the game.
