MonsterOfMyOwn Posted August 29, 2019 Share Posted August 29, 2019 Operator mode is "OK" I guess with Zenurik dash / Magus elevate / magus lockdown and void dashing but Amps are mostly useless appart some mini-games. Why not making them deal damages that scales with their maximum health instead of static values ? I would allow them to be (somewhat) useful against higher NPC levels and not break anything in lower level. Obviously Eidolon should be adjusted, but no big deal tbh. Why do you think Chroma was so ridiculous with bosses & eidolons originally? Why do you think the Adarza kavat interaction with operators slipped thru the cracks? Why do you think people did not enjoy Titania so much pre-QoL and STILL do not enjoy her too much since the majority of her kit, including razor wing, have not been fully addressed? Why do you think D.E. has yet to address the focus system despite most of the skills are neglible or useless with only one real focus set being used on a norm basis aka Zenurik. The next problem is how they should operate though. But before that they need to re-design how damage & enemy health/shields/armor operate so they function on the same scale as warframe health/shields/armor & enemy damage. Rather it looks like we are dealing significantly less then what it seems but its basically the same since enemy stat scaling got to match, but it would mainly resolve: Self Damage shenigans so instead of getting constantly blown up if we get hit by our own self damage despite having 10k~40k ferrite armor to soak it. Easier to track values, because we all know how silly things get when numbers get SO BIG, its like another day in DBZ where one can`t keep a accurate grasp on how far they need to build up X things, you just tend to go for the overkill route instead. Plus especially so d.e. can get a better consistency on how much more damage & durability X unit has, since it feels like after level 30, they just start scaling at a ridiculous pace, at least to me when they suddenly can go from being able to be one shot with a lenz to taking multiple rounds just because they went up a good chunk of levels. MonsterOfMyOwn Posted August 30, 2019 Author Share Posted August 30, 2019 my point was specifically about amps because it would "easy" to implement because there are only a few prism, because there aren't tons of mods that would make the process hard to balance, etc. If you assume that shwaak prism (3500 void damage) and lega prism (600) are "OK" against lvl 35 mobs, this would lead to weird numbers due to some NPC having armors and some not.
