RS219 Posted November 4, 2019 Share Posted November 4, 2019 Remove the RNG numbers for the weapon elemental bonus and make them all straight across the board. It's already a lottery spin to see what the larvling turns into and have the gun you want, and it's another uphill battle just to get rid of the lich if it has a weapon you don't want, or even worse, the weapon you want but with a bad elemental roll. If the elemental roll is a low % value (25% ish) it makes the kuva weapon a sidegrade at best, or possibly even worse than the base weapon. Teridax68 Posted November 4, 2019 Share Posted November 4, 2019 (edited) What is all the more hilarious about this is that none of the Kuva weapons appear to be top-tier either, even with maxed-out elemental bonuses, so it really is just a pointless mechanic thrown in to cheapen the weapons we're expected to grind hard to obtain, as well as commit to the tune of 5 Forma each for the Mastery. I don't care much for the elemental modifier to begin with, but I can certainly agree that the amount of bonus damage should be static, as there is no justification for that sort of variability other than an attempt to force replay value onto a system players are still likely to abandon once having obtained all 14 Kuva weapons.
